I remember asking the lady who brought me in to make sure i got the right oil this time. The last time i was there they did my service by license plate instead of even looking at the vehicle and i got the wrong oil. They were about to let me leave and the girl stopped me and told me what happened. I have all that documentation. My car is missing the inspection shield and the drain bolt came out at some point on my way back from work in Bend last night. I need you to call me. I spoke with Dave Harris this morning and he said he would tell the owner to get ahold of me and that was at 0856 this morning. My car is a 2021 and has 45000 mile on it.......and this place can't be bothered on a Sunday to help. I was able to get contact information for Mike McCutchen. He said he was on vacation until Tuesday and gave me Dave Wiess number and said he would text him to call me. I called Dave Wise and got his voice mail. I bet they would care if it was their car and their job. Do not ever go here. I am editing this review as time goes to illustrate how much they care when they make a mistake. Mikeccutchen  can't be bothered because he is on vacation. And I am certain Dave Wise know and he has made no effort to pick up the phone or call me back. It is now 1646 and nothing. Not a care from the manager on vacation or the co owner Dave Wise. I got in contact with Dave Wise after I called Mike McCutchen from many different numbers many different times. He kept hitting the ignore button. Dave said the threads and pan look great in the picture I sent. He said if I can get it towed he will look at it tonight. 1710. I've called 3 tow companies and they all go to Jay's voice-mail. Dave said I could rent a car and they would comp me if he determined this was their fault....... 18:21 11/13 Dave Wise came out to car. Jacked it up and put new drain plug in the car. Dave brought 4 ot 5 drain plugs. Dave came out from under the car and said "I grabbed one Size over stock I'll be right back" he left and when he came back installed the drain plug. The Car took 4 quarts and verified full on dipstick. (The car takes 3.5 to 4 quarts) he said it still probably had 2 quarts in it.......... Dave said in about 300-500 miles Bring the car back in and will send off oil samples. The cars milage is 46307 and service will occur at 46807. Dave shook my hand and said "just like my dad used to say, if you make, don't be afraid to admit it and try to fix it" . When asked about why or how the drain plug came out he said it was possible it was not tightened in or sabotage. Dave said he was the one that performed the service on friday. But i rember him asking if whoever was in the bay if they got the skid plat off yet..when asked about the change in gas mileage, Dave said winter additivescan change fuel mileage. But ive never had this bad gas mileage and i bought it in December and have went through 2 winters with it .Will update accordingly

I Asked Mark's Auto to install a thermostat kit and clutch. They indicated they're not afraid of Volkswagens and had experience with Porshe engines. I provided parts. They provided labor. I took a chance with Mark's Auto because they are nearby. I'm seeking mechanics I can trust. They looked the bus over and provided a quote for kit installation. Their estimate was Extremely High due to lack of experience with air-cooled VWs, and to cover their butt for unexpected obstacles. I agreed to give them an opportunity, rolling the dice, so to speak. Unfortanately, they struggled to do this timely. My bus stayed at their outdoor hoist for 12-days. That is not a reasonable in any stretch of imagination. But it is what it is. They charged me a great deal more than their original quote. So I paid double dearly to keep it local. Their high-end quote was for $1,400.00. 13 Days after they began, they presented a bill for $1,675.00 dollars. Their markup on common worn parts they order are literally - Astronomical. If I provide them more business, a more reasonable learning-curve labor charge is requisite in earning my trust. Otherwise, it's a short jaunt to Bend or Eugene, of course. So far, I suspect they did quality work (albeit expensive) on my bus. Only time and distance will tell.

The truck while beautiful on the outside was sold to us with a rear axle seal failure . We have tried contacting the dealer who wants nothing to do with this since we bought it . Their servicing department will not return the calls of our local service agent who wants to try and figure out why the warranty is not covering it that they sold us. We are heartbroken . We thought we had found a reliable Ford dealer and come to find out from the reviews I have found since our purchased shows us that this is certainly not true . I think anybody who purchased vehicles from here which there have been several and have had terrible experiences should start a class action lawsuit ! I am absolutely tired of not having phone calls returned service people giving us the runaround . No one ever being able to pick up their phone and speak to you about an issue that you're having . After hour or so got a ride over there to get it. When got back with it he went down and got it reset it and said was no charge because my chain was jerked and had to go over to bend. The situation could've made lots of people eat through a picket fence but he did me a solid. So bless his britches lot of other businesses would've gone ahead and charged 500 for the reset but he didnt. Those body shops said I had to go to a "PDR" shop and have the body work done. So I would have to pay two separate shops plus travel o Bend to get the body work done then get it painted by the paint shop. Fast forward : Stopped by "Car Medics" in Prineville and meet the owner Rich and Skyler (assistant). Rich gave me an estimate to paint do the body work and showed me his state of the art paint booth . Bottom line he did all the work there no traveling and the result was excellent. The cost was half the price of the other shops! Rich is an outstanding honest person,and a perfectionist. His right hand man Skyler is the same kind of guy!
