Initial communication was very promising. They had a solid price (I obtained multiple quotes), could do it on the day I needed it (which was evolving because of escrow close) and stated they had their "A-Team" available for my move. We ended up booking them for a March move which involved moving a townhome plus a 3 - 4 bedroom sized storage unit (10x20 efficiently packed)! Originally they seemed to understand the requirements as they brought two trucks but one truck was a 20 footer which turned out to be a tad too small. We ended up making multiple trips in our car to offset. Team was on time and did a solid job with the first part of the move. So far so good. But, I think they realized after taking lunch they were a bit behind and so when they arrived at the house started double timing, not always efficiently. To be fair, taking apart the Murphy bed at the new house cost some time but we needed the space for one of the king beds. Boxes we told them to place in garage but we had to tell them to leave spaces to walk in between. First attempt was just placing all the boxes together like a storage unit. Upstairs, we noticed some scratches all the floor when I had mentioned all through the process starting with bidding that we had wooden floors and please have experience at keeping the floors undamaged. They put the furniture together, helped out with trash pickup and I gave each mover $80 tip. That was a solid tip for an all day, three location move. But it might have been too much. From the beginning the master king bed just felt "off". Lopsided almost. We thought it was the mattress, and that we had to rotate and move the mattress. Nope. The bed wasn't re-assembled correctly. The slats were not properly reinforced in the center and the wood bent, buckled, and finally snapped. See photos. So I waited on this review, until we opened all the boxes, and I am glad I did as our bed crashed. In the end, cannot recommend this local outfit. My national mover that brought me back to S Cal did a far more professional job, even these Murrieta movers said "Wow, those guys stacked your stuff so well in the storage unit". Despite the heat and all the stairs, the team stayed positive the entire time. we had fun with them! They were extremely professional, careful, and hardworking. Not a single thing was scratched or broken. They even offered to take our TV off the wall, which we hadn't planned on doing, and helped us with it. Think twice before hiring NF Moving! Our experience was incredibly disappointing, and what happened…read moreafter we reported the damage was almost as frustrating as the move itself. We originally chose NF Moving because they had a 5 star rating on Yelp. We then hired NF Moving to professionally load two rental trucks for our move from Yucaipa, CA. to Arizona. We supplied the trucks and plenty of protective materials. NF Moving's own pre-move document specifically stated that its crew would handle "padding and protection of furniture." Unfortunately, that is not what we experienced. When the trucks were opened at our destination, the unloading crew's reaction immediately told us something was wrong. Numerous items had been loaded with little or no protection. Four Electra/Townie bikes that had been kept in immaculate condition were placed directly beside each other, metal on metal, uncovered and with nothing between them and leaning against a ladder. We specifically asked an NF Moving crew member to please cover and strap down the bikes. That was not done. All four arrived scratched, with exposed metal from rubbing against one another. A solid wood desk was left with finished wood exposed against the truck floor and arrived scratched. Its legs were also left unprotected and damaged. Two leather ottomans were not properly wrapped and arrived with scratched metal. Our approximately 3-year-old Pottery Barn sofa was wrapped only in plastic, without moving blankets protecting it from hard surfaces. It arrived with marks transferred onto the fabric. A dresser was wrapped incompletely, leaving a corner exposed that arrived scratched and dented. And those were only the items where we immediately identified damage. We also found cream upholstered headboards, benches, dining chairs, furniture legs and other finished surfaces loaded without adequate protection. Framed pictures and shelves packed in lay-flat boxes had been turned on their sides with a golf bag placed on top. A white bookcase was even used by the crew as a step stool during loading leaving behind a wet shoe print. There was no shortage of truck space. In fact, we had TWO trucks. The condition was concerning enough that we paid the destination crew an additional $470 for two extra hours of labor so they could properly wrap and protect our belongings before placing them into storage. The job that should have been done by NF moving! We documented the condition with photos and videos and promptly submitted a claim. NF Moving denied it. We then submitted a detailed request for reconsideration, pointing out that their own paperwork says their crew handles "padding and protection of furniture," that their contract provides valuation when damage is caused by their staff, and that the contract states NF Moving is responsible for items while in its immediate care. They denied the claim again. Their position is essentially that because the trucks traveled approximately 300 miles after they loaded them, we cannot prove their loading caused the damage. They also emphasized that we supplied the trucks and materials and were present during loading. That response is particularly frustrating. We hired professional movers precisely because we expected them to know how to properly wrap, protect, position and secure household goods. Supplying blankets and a truck does not make the customer the professional mover. Being present also does not mean a homeowner should be expected to supervise every piece of furniture loaded into two trucks or override the professional judgment of a four-person moving crew. Most troubling to us is that NF Moving never meaningfully addressed why so many items were left exposed or inadequately protected despite its own written promise that padding and furniture protection were services its crew would provide. We have now filed a formal complaint with the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services and provided documentation of the move, damage, contracts, correspondence, photos and videos. We understood that moving always carries some risk. We did not expect perfection. What we did expect was professional care, reasonable protection of our belongings, and accountability when something went wrong. Instead, we received damaged possessions, an additional $470 expense to correct the condition of the load, and two complete denials of responsibility. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend NF Moving. I was immediately compensated for the issues I had surfaced and am extremely grateful to the Qshark team for doing so. **ORIGINAL** Unfortunately I cannot say I would recommend Qshark. We hired them for a cross country move and were very hopeful for a smooth process given the total cost we were quoted. Prior to the move, I will say the customer service was great. Any question we had was answered promptly and clearly over email, which was very helpful when preparing for the move. On the day of pick up, the movers were punctual, organized, kind and respectful. I have no complaints for the first half of the move. The delivery is where things started to go south. Our movers assured us they would arrive by July 1, however the night before I received a text from Frank that the movers were very delayed and were likely going to miss the delivery date. He let me know the battery had died in the moving truck and therefore they were unable to make the agreed upon delivery date. This was a problem as we had no accommodations for that night, assuming we would've been able to stay in our new home. Frank offered to cover the cost of any hotel expenses we incurred, which was the right thing to do given the circumstances. However, I did have to follow up with him once or twice to complete the reimbursement, which again isn't the type of service I would expect given the premium cost we paid and unique circumstances. When the movers arrived the next day, things looked positive as they were unloading all the furniture. However once they left we realized several items were either missing or damaged. Our bed frame, bar cabinet, shoe cabinet and futon all had either pieces missing or parts that had been dinged. On top of all of that, our TV screen had been damaged in the move. I have since been asking for claim details to get reimbursed for the TV repairs, and have followed up daily with no progress or confirmation that we will be compensated for the damages. Overall while the movers themselves were wonderful, the service of Qshark fell far below expectation and I would not book with them again.

Due to delays in closing the house, we had to cancel the movers we had scheduled and scramble to find last minute movers. Since we had used 24/7 moving in the past, and they still had a pretty good rate, we booked them again for this next move. Thank goodness for their flexibility! However, on the day of the move, the movers showed up 1.5 hours late. We didn't get a call or anything with any updates about this delay, so that was unprofessional. It ended up working out because my boyfriend noticed a spill in the storage unit, so he had time to clean up before the movers came. Movers for the most part worked pretty fast, and they were nice. The unloading to the house took less than 30 minutes. However, we did notice some of our items were broken (the back of the dresser was chipped). After these two experiences with this company, I'm not sure if I would recommend them if you have other options. Addendum: received some unkind messages from the manager claiming I had lied about the situation. I do acknowledge that Jay had told me back in November that the movers needed to come at noon because they they had a morning appointment, but this was for our first move on 11/19. For the 12/11 move, I didn't receive any notice that the movers could be late, and I was told that the service fee could not be waived (we did pay the additional $50 fee on top of the hourly rate as indicated in the screenshot). After speaking with Jay today, it looks like the service fee was supposed to be added on top of the $50 travel fee. I did my due diligence to estimate the quote in writing, and also briefly spoke to a gentleman over the phone a few days before the move to confirm the rate. I didn't get any notification in writing or over the phone that the estimated cost I thought I was supposed to pay was incorrect. This was a misunderstanding on my part. In the future, I would recommend better communication when movers are running late (a simple call 30 mins in advance would suffice) and better communication regarding estimated costs for moving.
