I have American Home Shield as my home warranty for repairs and through them, I was introduced to Garrett's Appliance. Awesome guys! They are honest and know what they're doing. I refuse to use anybody else now because they're the only ones I know I can trust. I've had a few other try to tell me I needed to replace costly parts but when Garrett's has looked at the same issue they've discovered it wasn't the major repair I was led to believe by another company. Our warranty company assigned Garrett's Appliance company to diagnose and repair our Viking refrigerator in June 2019. It should have a been a red flag in the beginning that they never called us to schedule the first appointment after being assigned by our warranty company. Finally, after a few days of waiting I contacted them and finally got them to come out. The owner and his son came out and diagnosed the problem just by listening to it and said they would put in a work order for the parts. The parts were ordered and delivered to them on July 22nd but we never received a call from them to come complete the repair. After many calls/texts not being returned I had the warranty company contact them. His response to them was that the person who could fix our brand no longer works for him...funny since he is the one that diagnosed our problem in the first place. Now here we are October 1st 2019 and my fridge is still not working. He text me today to say his brother would be coming to fix it and for me to call him when I get home. It is almost 8pm and his brother has not shown up and he is not returning my calls or texts. Save yourself the frustration and use a different company! read more

My washer was leaking, so Kenneth came out to repair it. He repaired it and it worked for a couple weeks then stopped. Come to find out I needed a new computer board put in which was going to cost me more than a new washer. Arthur called me and told me they were refunded me my money so I could go buy a new washer. Most businesses would have just said go buy a new one, we are keeping what you already paid for. I will for sure be using them for all future problems. read more

Outstanding! And a life savior. My 27-year old Kenmore fridge stopped working around noon on a Friday. Yes, it has really lasted 27 years because it was made in America when we still manufactured things here. The thought of all that spoiled food, plus buying a crappy, new fridge made in China was making me feel sick. I called 2 different appliance repair guys here on Yelp who had great reviews, but in both cases the earliest they could schedule an appointment was on Thursday, which meant I would be without a fridge for 6 days. When I called Garrett's Cleaning, the owner, Arthur, came to repair my fridge within 2 hours of getting my call. I honestly didn't think it could be repaired because it was nearly 3 decades old. However, Arthur and his son fixed it and made it better than new. I had to turn the thermostat down post-repair because everything was so cold. There are a lot of choices for appliance repair here on Yelp, but I don't think many of them have been in the high desert since the 1970's, or have more experience repairing appliances than Arthur and his son. They are both experts. Plus their fee was very, very reasonable. I highly recommend calling Garrett's Cleaning first. They will fix things quickly and cost effectively. I called Garretts for my mom. She was having an issue with her oven doing "weird" things. I live an hour and a half away and was concerned about Fire. When I called they were closed, but even so, he offered to go to her home to check and make sure there was no danger. Who does that?! He went over right away, disconnected the appliance and made an appt to come back to repair. He texted me several times both on that day, and the day of repair to let me know what was happening.
