One out of many instances that come to mind is when deciding on the color of the shutters, he went above and beyond to take numerous samples, walked around my kitchen comparing the different shades to my walls and kitchen cabinets. I ordered wood shutters from Accent less than 3 years ago. One of the shutters now will not close…read morecorrectly, so I taped it shut. Then contacted Accent and the lady at the desk said they have a repair person who could come out to check on the shutter. And she informed me there was a $135 fee for the visit. But she also said that if it were a quick fix there would be no charge. A week later repair man came and checked out the shutter and said it only needed a slight adjustment He proceeded to change the settings on the side of the shutter with a screw driver, and it worked fine. The repair took less than 2 minutes. And he left.....a true "quick fix". Subsequently receive a bill for $85 from the repair. The invoice said $135, less $50 for the quick repair. I called and was told by Carol it was a correct charge as they blocked a hour for my repair and they had to collect. I responded that I was told there would be no charge if it were it were a quick fix. She then proceeded to tell me that whoever told me that was wrong. HELLO!!! So if you need a repair from Accent, beware of any talk about no charge for a quick fix. I believe $85 was excessive given the nature of the repair. So they get a fast and dirty 2 STARS........

The glass was all double paned and unusual shapes, needed to be custom fabricated. Really wanted to get a company that would pay attention to the detail and get this done right since it's a nice house. They came out and measured all the panes, custom made replacements, and came back and swapped them out. All told this was a big job requiring a significant amount of labor. Turned out great! See my picture. Heads up I will mention the job start to finish took about 4.5 weeks vs the 2.5 weeks initially estimated, largely due to ordering of the custom glass.
