I've been coming to the bazaar whenever I needed something handled at a great price. Of course at the flea market you're going to find all types of different stores offering a variety of items. You also get to interact with the Hispanic cultures of Dallas and their restaurants give authentic Mexican food. It's delicious and so are the sauces that come alongside it all. They have very nice jewelry as well and most people know that Mexico is notorious for have great gold jewelry. Here it's greatly priced and not any of the cheap gold plated metals you commonly find.

Let me tell you about the Elotes here, Booooooy, the stand that is on the left entrance will not let you down at all . I'm talking about extra crema, extra cheese, the corn is soaked in butter and mayonnaise! it's like a fat girl's paradise! I personally think they have the best Elotes here after Fiestas And the michucana

The lot was recently black topped and parking lanes painted so everyone can still ignore.

Awesome place.. if you can sort through some of the cheaper quality things they have here you can actually find a great bargain on many things. They have very affordable furniture, table sets that would run $1000's at Rooms to go, you could find them as cheap as $500 here! The food is great! You get to really experience a little bit of true mexican culture by just trying out a few things here. The atmosphere is not the classiest, or most upscale atmosphere there is, but the culture that surrounds the place makes it a thing to appreciate on its own. Overall, this is a good place for cheap food & cheap shopping but make sure you can sort out the cheap quality stuff from the stuff that is an actual bargain!

    Yum!

What a fun free market! I'm not sure how often this market happens but it was this past Saturday…read moreand the weather was gorgeous! There were plenty of food trucks and beer was flowing (since it was held in the back parking lot of Community Beer Company (3 tokens for $12=3 beers). There were fun local bands and a dj. Plus there were plenty of vendors selling a variety of wares from art to clothes to edibles (like olive oil and flavored salts). The area was spacious and the people who brought their own chairs were smart. The crowd (which definitely got bigger as the day progressed) was fun and there were lots of dogs. The biggest lack was a non-beer option. There was a small (free) water station inside the brewery, but any other beverages were whatever canned or bottled drinks that the food trucks were selling, which meant waiting in line with the food people. A lemonade stand or some such would have been extremely welcome as the day warmed up. My only other complaint is that there doesn't seem to be a regular time for this market...maybe because it's new? My Dallas contact said it was on a weekday last time and wasn't as well attended. Let's hope it continues and on a regular basis.

This is the second market we have been to put on by this group and it is a fun time. I wish that it…read morewould gain more traction so that more vendors would participate. This time, it was at the Goodyear retread plant which was a great open space. There was a DJ spinning and free drinks. There weren't as many food options as I would have liked but it was a good time nonetheless. My favorite was the cartoon artist that was capturing people's caricatures. There was plenty of tables and seating and parking was on the street and at nearby businesses that were not open. Again, I wish there were more vendors as more variety and choice would have been great. I'll still probably attend the next one.

I honestly left this market a bit confused. Did I enjoy my experience? I'm not sure... after some…read morethought I settled with the fact that although this market is not for me, I appreciate it for what it is, and the incredible amount of effort put into making it what it is. So first things first, this market is HUGE! Festival-like huge. Here's what they claim: "The #1 review we receive from shoppers at Big Top Events is, "We had SO much fun!". It is our pleasure to offer a wide selection exhibitors to bring the very best in boutique clothing, accessories, shoes, home decor, furniture, gourmet food, dips, sauces, art, yard decorations, holiday items and so much more! There is a little bit of everything and something for everyone! Prices range from as little as $5 and up to $2,000 and beyond. Our market is 50% hand made items and 50% manufactured items. 100% of Exhibitors are small business owners, shopping with us puts money directly into the local community. 90% of Exhibitors are based here in the Lone Star State, others travel from Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisianan, Oklahoma and Arkansas!" Here's what I experienced: *they offer a 4 story complimentary parking garage & plenty of complimentary street parking options *it is certainly true that leashed dogs are welcome, but apparently so are lemurs & their babies...true story *they truly offer is a bit of everything, and all price points are offered...but I wasn't prepared for some of the offerings, and I personally was unaware that many businesses are not locally based. For example, it was nice to see Rodeo food, unique boutiques, and handmade ink pens. I was not expecting independent consultant MLM representation, non Native peoples selling dream catchers, folks dropshipping items, and droves on droves of repeat items like freeze dried treats and handmade tumblers. I didn't find anyone selling fruit or produce, and very few natural products. The level of repetition had me questioning the vendor selection criteria. Nevertheless, if I visited with the goal of enjoying a day with friends, families, or the kids, this would be a great market to do so. I appreciate the Port-a-potties in multiple areas & plenty of activities for the kids in the main square (bouncy houses, playground slide). Even if it was like 90 degrees under the actual big top, there's plenty of food and alcohol to go around, and plenty of things to look at, touch, and sample to kill a few hours and support local(ish). I may be the outliar here, bc others seemed to be enjoying themselves. It's a 3.5 from me as a solo Market goer on a mission to find quality local and unique goods, but I certainly welcome everyone to go out and experience this market atleast once!

An assortment of many vendors, it's not open all the time, only twice a year. Great weekend outing…read morewith a collection of local vendors selling their wares.
