Lynn was able to find me a mid-1940s Stanley Works / North Bros. 130A "Yankee" Spiral Screwdriver in superb condition (spring worked like brand-new) with the even more rare driver bits included. Pretty much zero rust. All paint on the wood handle intact and nearly flawless! My wife picked up a well-made brass blade GE fan that she is planning on restoring. Hubby was off looking at clothes of all things. He actually found a great deal on a men's puffer jacket (Hawke & Co.) for $10! There were a couple of tiny tears around one elbow and I sewed the hanging nylon and with all the puffer action, you can't even tell I repaired it. He is very happy with his purchase! Since it was right before Halloween, we were looking at costumes, etc. I found a cute girls pumpkin dress and while I was there I sent a pic to my niece, but she already had something similar. They had everything arranged so nicely and the store was well lit. They had some very nice brand name clothing items and the prices were great! And, the best thing of all is that the proceeds from the store benefit the counseling and services available to patrons that need their help.
