I haven't been here since I was a child and it was so nostalgic, the service everyone was nice , the vendors were great . We went before the weather got hot and before more people came , we found a lot of vintage games and toys that my nerdy family loved . I came to play with the animals and try the different foods . It was a great atmosphere and me and bae wants to come back again .

If you like flea markets, this is definitely a place to stop when visiting Dallas. This is one of the largest flea market I've ever been in. Parking is five dollars that you pay as you pull in. I found this to be odd as I've never paid parking at a Flea Market in my life. There are the main covered areas with storage facilities that the vendors open and set their shops up every morning. There's also covered areas where vendors can set up their tables on a temporary type basis and then on the outer ring, all around are the very temporary vendors that come and go as they set up. Anything from one to several tables to sell their wears. A great variety of products as well as a food court and children's rides with a roller coaster in the middle. Plenty of food vendors scattered throughout the market as well. Lots of fun for all and great place to walk and shop.

Best shopping experience! Trader's village is a Family spot, been coming to this location for years. It has surely grown & more people hearing about this place. Coolers are allowed with whatever you would like to bring for you and your family. Summer days bring water! & wear sunscreen Don't worry they have all sorts of hats if you forget one! Some months have live music and events.

Ahh, Traders Village. Absolutely enormous. So much to see. $5 to park, free entry, and then you're off... You can seriously spend a lot of time here, especially if the weather is right. It's like an amusement park meets a farmers market meets a flea market. And flea market includes everything under the sun, from cars to furniture to antiques to new clothes to local art to seasonal decor and more. Sooooo much more. And you're allowed to barter! The grounds are covered in endless rows of vendors, rides, carnival-type games, and food and drink stands. There's a few stages and live music. Some of the vendor stand are super small, some are set up like an actual indoor store. Some are beautifully organized and some are a filled with piles of treasure to dig through. You'll find multiple produce stands with probably the largest variety of seasonal fruits and veggies I've ever seen set up outdoors, with items I'm less familiar with like different types of cactus, lychee, passion fruit, and kumquat. They seem to have every pepper, tomato, and squash; just perpetual rainbows of variety. As far as food goes, they've got several different stands and little outdoor restaurants serving things like turkey legs, corn dogs, hot links, street tacos, Thai food, funnel cakes, roasted corn and elote, nachos, slushies... Then there's a large indoor spot with AC called Gary's Grill for hamburgers, hotdogs, nuggets, fries, etc. Plenty of food options. There's even wine, beer, and those frozen wine-based "margaritas." Then there's the rides... just go look at their list online hahaha: tradersvillage.com/grand-prairie/rides/ They have rides for little kids and then bigger and scarier rides for everyone else. Bumper cars, swings, an old-fashioned carousel, spinning things and rollercoasters and a vertical drop thingy and a lot more. You pay $13.99 for a wristband that gets you unlimited rides, which is such an excellent deal. There's really so much here to entertain everyone in your family!

My family and I come to Trader's Village for 3 main things - The Hot Links, the Elotes, the Turkey Legs. Everything else is a bonus like their funnel cakes and fruit cups. Coming here you shouldn't have high expectations, I mean it's in the name "Trader's" so if you're not a haggler or you expect 5 star service, do not come on the village grounds. The parking fee has gone up but it's a small fee. Would recommend coming for the experience and advise to go before the morning church crowd lets out.

Coolest flea market I've seen since arriving in Texas. Feels like you can purchase anything here: car parts, dresses, pets (snakes! Bunnies! Puppies!), produce, cell phone accessories, cowboy boots, one place had deer heads and a stuffed bobcat! Tons of stuff for kids and there was even an amusement park with rides and plenty of places selling food and drink. This place is very cool. All the vendors had masks on and masks were required but since people do eat here I saw folks without masks. Everything is outdoors and it wasn't difficulty to socially distance so I'll be returning.

Been going here since I was a kid. They have many vendors, rides, animals, and food. It's also a great place to relax and just walk around.

Plenty of booths to buy items from. Take plenty of suntan lotion and good pair of walking shoes.

Ask the Community - Traders Village

    Are dogs allowed?

No but people still bring them so might as well

Are there wheelchairs or scooters to rent?

I have rabbits to give away. We now have 13. Is there a vendor I can get in contact with to see if they want the rabbits?

I don't know if they still sell pets at traders village if so you can probably tell one of the pet vendors

What if you dont enter in a car, if you walked/just had a ride? Would you still need to pay the $4 fee?

I think it's just the parking fee u pay if in a car. Not sure how it works if u were to just walk in. Pretty sure it's just the parking fee

    So they sell Egyptian stuff?

    Yes

Can anyone recommend a booth that does great window tenting and a reasonable rate to expect?

    Every weekend has different vendors.

Do they let bring in dogs?

    Only service dogs.

Does trailers village have street legal scooters or mopeds for about $100. To $200.?

They have all kinds of scooters and motorbikes

How much is window tint, like what are the deals?

Every vendor per weekend is different, some are every weekend. You gamble with vendors that tint windows as you might ever see them again.

Sorry if this posts twice. Idk what happened and I think I messed up. Anyways, can we bring our own ice chest to pull around?

Technically, not allowed. If you bring one, please leave any alcohol at home. Thanks for asking!

So first things first, this market is HUGE! Festival-like huge. Here's what they claim: "The #1 review we receive from shoppers at Big Top Events is, "We had SO much fun!". It is our pleasure to offer a wide selection exhibitors to bring the very best in boutique clothing, accessories, shoes, home decor, furniture, gourmet food, dips, sauces, art, yard decorations, holiday items and so much more! There is a little bit of everything and something for everyone! Prices range from as little as $5 and up to $2,000 and beyond. Our market is 50% hand made items and 50% manufactured items. 100% of Exhibitors are small business owners, shopping with us puts money directly into the local community. 90% of Exhibitors are based here in the Lone Star State, others travel from Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisianan, Oklahoma and Arkansas!" Here's what I experienced: *they offer a 4 story complimentary parking garage & plenty of complimentary street parking options *it is certainly true that leashed dogs are welcome, but apparently so are lemurs & their babies...true story *they truly offer is a bit of everything, and all price points are offered...but I wasn't prepared for some of the offerings, and I personally was unaware that many businesses are not locally based. For example, it was nice to see Rodeo food, unique boutiques, and handmade ink pens. I was not expecting independent consultant MLM representation, non Native peoples selling dream catchers, folks dropshipping items, and droves on droves of repeat items like freeze dried treats and handmade tumblers. I didn't find anyone selling fruit or produce, and very few natural products. The level of repetition had me questioning the vendor selection criteria. Nevertheless, if I visited with the goal of enjoying a day with friends, families, or the kids, this would be a great market to do so. I appreciate the Port-a-potties in multiple areas & plenty of activities for the kids in the main square (bouncy houses, playground slide). Even if it was like 90 degrees under the actual big top, there's plenty of food and alcohol to go around, and plenty of things to look at, touch, and sample to kill a few hours and support local(ish). I may be the outliar here, bc others seemed to be enjoying themselves. It's a 3.5 from me as a solo Market goer on a mission to find quality local and unique goods, but I certainly welcome everyone to go out and experience this market atleast once!
