Even though they spell "Bargain" wrong... I won't judge. Now, if I didn't like the place.. I may judge a little. But I thought it was great. It was my first bazaar experience in a LONG while. And my first in Dallas. I was looking for a specific ball gown for my daughter, but wasn't having any luck finding one that wasn't a flower girl dress. I considered ordering online, but couldn't find anything to my liking that wasn't under $300. Wasn't wanting to drop that kind of cash since she only needed it for 2 hours. Finally, I had a wild idea to check out a bazaar. First, we checked out some of the Quiceanera dress shops on Jefferson in Oak Cliff..and they little girls dresses were still priced high and not what I had envisioned. A few blocks down, we saw "Bargin" City. I know. But anyway, we decided to stop in. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but we found something pretty quick. Literally upon entering, the first shop had a dress that was exactly what I was looking for and about half of what I was willing to spend! I was so excited and ready to buy it. BUT.. I decided that I wasn't going to make a purchase without seeing everything so I kept on walking. Dress stores galore! Everything galore! They even sell food here. Too bad I wasn't hungry because I could have really gone for some elote. Even had eyebrow threading, lol. We kept walking through and peeking in at dress shops along the way. Then we found the perfect one that was exactly what I had in mind and way way way way under my budget. Happiness!! Bazaar Mission: Accomplished. Thanks for the "bargin", Bargin City! read more
