I was truly enamored by the food and in disbelief to find there wasn't a Yelp page available. Will I be the most hated tourist amongst the locals for doing this? Did I just bring unwanted attention to this place? Whatever the reason may be for a page not existing, my intentions are not ill will. Instead, words need to be spoken and not kept quiet!
If possible I would recommend to sit outdoor to fully grasp the beauty of Spain dining. Keep in mind, this restaurant gets busy and is not flocking with tourists. Let me cut the crap and dive right in to the food. You'll find bread everywhere, which only makes sense that it's one of the tapa dishes. It's lightly toasted with a spread of tomato and sprinkled with sea salt, minimal ingredients but just darn good. Who would've thought anchovies can be fried to excellence? I've witnessed it here. Then the hearty bowl of clams was lavished with orange slices which was definitely a first try but not the last. And all hail to the plate of slightly steamed octopus baptized with paprika powder, then was gently laid to rest on top of some sort of mashed potatoes. It was chewy with all the right reasons, and was certainly not rubber octopus slices. In my opinion, the beef short rib killed the show. It was cooked to perfection and per usual the sprinkle of sea salt came through clutch. read more
