After having a company called A-Authentic Garage Doors come out and attempt to completely rip me off for 2000.00, I called Adrian at Garage Doors 4 Less. Adrian came out the same day and for a fraction of what the other company was attempting to steal from me got my garage door working perfectly. He programmed our cars and remotes and was friendly honest and professional. All I needed was a logic board replaced. I was very satisfied with the service we got from Garage Door 4 Less. Adrian was upfront and helpful in picking the right opener for us. He even recommended us not to get the same brand opener that we currently have (which is Genie) because he has received many complaints from various customers about that particular brand. Instead,he recommended us to purchase the Liftmaster brand. C.T. came to install the opener a few days ago; he was very courteous, efficient and professional. One of the first thing I noticed about the Liftmaster opener was how quieter it is compared to the Genie we use own (both openers are belt driven). One of the cables on my garage door snapped causing the garage to go off the track. Try as I might, the door wasn't going to move. Thankfully neither one of our cars were trapped. Expecting the worst, I looked through the reviews on Yelp and came across Garage Doors 4 Less, LLC. The reviews were great and the company is located close to home. I called the number and left a message. Adrian called me back within 20 minutes and I explained the problem the best I could. He was able to determine the issue in spite of my rant and give me a reasonable quote on the phone. He also asked if my cars were trapped in the event he needed to come over ASAP. Since this wasn't an issue, he scheduled a time to stop by later that day. Adrian showed up as planned and fixed all the issues in a short time. He brought all of the necessary parts and replaced only what was needed. Even though my opener is an older model he didn't try to sell me a new one. Instead he told me it was a great model and should last another 5-10 years in spite of age and appearance. He also gave me tips for fixing a sagging door on my own by telling me where I should consider adding support. Bottom line: Nice guy who won't try to gouge you. Adrian answered the call, even though he was on his way out for the evening with his family. We could get the door open and closed so Saturday was fine. They were booked up like crazy, but still found time to fit me in. At about 5:00 PM on Saturday Brian showed up to install the new opener and by 6:00 PM we were back in business. The price seemed reasonable and with so many hacks in this type of business it was good to find someone trustworthy who did what they said they were going to do. Hats off to Adrian and Brian. I had Garage Doors 4 Less come to fix my garage. The owner pointed out to me that the previous company didn't put in the right springs; but he was there to do what I called him to do. No up-selling. I was completely satisfied with his work. Fast forward, the spring broke and I couldn't recall that I used Garage Doors 4 Less and I called a company I thought I used. They were horrible...trying to sell me anything and everything. I pointed out the spring and the worker said, Oh yes, it is the wrong size! I said, well, your company put this spring in years ago. Anyway, the company starting with "A" gouged me and I had to have them come back to fix something that broke within 1 month after they supposedly fixed it. Long story, I know, but GD4L is a great company, honest, and doesn't upsell or rip you off! Call them! My garage door trapped me at home Monday morning but YELP came to the rescue and pitched in $50 to boot! A discount just for mentioning Yelp. Lovely people on the phone, attentive, friendly and efficient. I first tried another company but couldn't get them to come out until the next day and this at 9AM no less. The repairman was prompt, neat, friendly and seemed to want to save me money and head headaches. A fast worker who explained in detail what was needed and it's cost. I felt like I had a friend in the business. I had a broken spring but also a damaged motor and it all was resolved in less than an hour and a half! Prices appeared to be reasonable with top of the line brand parts and he left a clean garage behind. What more could I ask for? They will be my garage door company from here out. read more

Buyer Beware! The broken torsion spring on my garage door was replaced by Adrian's employee. He supposedly checked everything out and lubricated everything. When he finished he showed me that the garage door opened and shut as it should. I was standing inside the garage and it appeared fine so I paid him cash as requested. That same day, when my wife comes home from work, she asks me, "Who put the dent in the garage door?" I go outside and there is the dent, as big as day. It was not visible from the inside because of the insulation and it was not there before they worked on it - (I have been walking by it for 3 days) but the dent was noticed by the first person to walk by it on the outside. The dent was clearly caused by stress from misaligned door panels. Even before he comes by to look at it, Adrian begins telling me on the phone when I called him that his guy didn't do it. (To quote Shakespeare - "Methinks thou do'est protest too much.") His story didn't change even when he did come by the next day to look at it. Either they are grossly incompetent and can't see see a major flaw and clearly a problem OR they are lying about it to avoid replacing a panel or just fixing the dent. Neither liars nor fools will get my business again, and you are now forewarned. To add insult to injury, Adrian says he would try to fix it at no charge even though it is not his fault, BUT he won't guarantee the results and he won't replace the panel. "Eek! Methinks not." Use at your own risk because you will have no recourse once they get your cash. read more

Garage doors for less was great. I needed an existing garage door opener replaced. The existing opener motor was fine, but the logic board was failing so it would not respond to the remotes. it would have cost $150 to replace the logic board. So, I decided to get a new replacement opener from amazon. Garage doors for less sent their technician TC over on a saturday morning. He was very prompt. He removed the old opener, installed the new one and outside keypad in about 90 minutes. TC was very polite, pleasant and focused. I paid with a check, but they take cash too, obviously.
