I hired Garage Door Daddy for a full garage door replacement, and I couldn't be happier. It is a family owned company and local to Riverside. The quote I received from Elias was competitive. He was knowledgeable of installation and of garage door products. Setting up the appointment was easy. The text/email appointment reminders and notification of arrival made it easy to know exactly when he would be arriving. Elias and his worker arrived on time and were extremely professional. I should have known by the chauvinistic name of the company that Elias M. would attempt to swindle me. We saw an ad for this company in The Home Improvemnt Guide and called regarding our garage door. After receiving a diagnosis from our home warranty we asked for quotes on a torsion tension spring reapir on our garage. Elias was able to come out the same day to look at provide us a quote. In comparison, several other companies have provided a quote after seeing the problem for anywhere between $600-$1000. Elias's quotes were so outrageous, he offers financing. I was not home when he arrived so we spoke on the phone. His "diagnosis" was not only different from 2 others, he also stated that the motor to the garage door was not going to work on the garage if we did the repairs/replacing parts he suggested. Elias went on to "try" and educate me about the garage door brand, the builder of my home and what bad garage doors these are. He suggested we replace and switch out the entire system becuase in his words, "if I just replace what is broken, it will break again in 5 years". Elias provided us with 3 options ranging from $2000-$2500 and that was with his bundle discount. By all means, if you want to try and have some mansplan something to you and get swindled by someone who refers to himself as "daddy", go for it. I went with a reasonable company that has a conscious. Be cautious with this guy, he is a greedy, gouging, extortionst of a business owner. read more

Garage Door Daddy has been amazing in their service provided. Elias arrived promptly on schedule and accessed my garage issues. He provided some options but ultimately we replaced the garage motor with a newer model. Elias was also very tentative in identifying other issues I wasn't aware of, such as the rotor being cracked and very loose guide wires. Prices were fair and were within budget. Now everything runs smooth and quiet. And especially with the newer more powerful motor, the door opens up quickly. Elias definitely went above and beyond. I will definitely recommend Elias and Garage Door Daddy and will continue to contact for any upgrades and fixes. read more

Our garage opener failed and we called Garage Door Daddy who picked up right away our call and dispatched their technician same day. We met Elias. Super friendly, professional and technically inclined on garage door operations. He assessed our situation and couldn't save our cheap Genie garage door opener. We have a three car garage and had another new Genie that needed to be installed for our smaller garage. He was willing to install that as part of his services in addition to a new garage opener. He provided a variety of solutions which included also doing a maintenance of the entire garage system since it had never been done. In the end we decided to do a full redo of the garage short of new garage doors. He gave us a fair price and he stayed late one evening and came back a few days later to bring us back to new. Highly recommend GD Daddy if you ever have any issues. They are honest and have integrity and don't have to worry about the operations of my garage for the next several years. Who's your daddy? Garage Door Daddy. Thnxs Elias. read more

Elias and the team are fantastic - from initial quote to the last detail. I scheduled a quote with Garage Door Daddy online to get my garage door fixed. Elias showed up right on time, took a look at the issue, and provided a super reasonable quote to fix the door. After thinking about it for a bit, it seemed like it would make sense to replace the door rather than fixing it (pretty much everything was broken, the whole thing having been jerry-built by the previous homeowner). Elias walked me through my options, provided a great quote with absolutely no pressure or hardball sales pitch. They completed the install the same day. The workmanship and attention to detail are outstanding. My garage is somehow cleaner than when he arrived. Elias is a miracle worker. Call Garage Door Daddy first. You won't be disappointed. read more

I highly recommend this business. I received a great price and service. Elias came to my home to check my garage door that it was making a squeaky noise when opening and closing. A belt that helps the door to open and close needed to be replace. He was very informative when explaining what needed to be done and also he provided me some recommendations for future services needed to prolong the good functioning of my garage door. Last, Elias has unbeatable prices, so don't hesitate to contact this company to get your repairs taking care of. read more

The spring of my garage door was broken and it won't open. This is almost 5pm, I called 2 of the garage door repair but they can't make it tonight. So I called one more company and Elias answered the phone and he is very nice and very polite to me and he informed me that he can come over in 15-20 minutes, he arrived on time. He looked at the problem and confirmed I need to replace the spring. When he inspected the whole thing and he discovered my opener is broken. I have a very old opener for about 20 years. He informed me that they have a promotion on the opener with a very good price, I replaced my opener and all the 10 rollers. And now the door is opened very smoothly and quietly. I am so happy with his work, Alias is very professional. Thank you very much! read more

Great service starting with communication. Our garage door had been giving us some troubles by not staying closed or randomly opening at any time of the day making our home unsafe. I reached out to this group to see if they could help fix the problem or replace the whole system if needed. The tech stayed in touch with me as soon as I put in my request to the minute he showed up. He asked a few questions about the system and started going through the system, finding several components out of adjustment. Within a few minutes he got it all adjusted, closing and opening as it should with two new remote controls set up for it and no need for a full garage door system replaced. Thank you read more
