Was in there shopping around 10/22/25 12:00pm was scanning the price of a jacket through their app and an employee was making comments under his breath which I could not clearly make out. As I was having many failed attempts at having the barcode read on the app he rudely asks "what are you doing! " to which I reply oh I'm scanning the price through your guys app was I doing something wrong? And he responds well I'm working on that rack don't want need you to knock anything over there's more items. Which yes there were but not in the size I needed which I let him know. I'm not sure what it is that makes people so stuck up. When we entered, no one greeted us. There was a group of 3 girls chit chatting while one girl helped at the cash register. There were 3 people in line to check out. My daughter and I browsed around, I see staff folding clothes and organizing the shelves. Still, no hello or is there something I can help you find or anyone telling us about the sale. We weren't looking for anything specific. We found some pants that looked cute and since the fitting rooms were open I wanted my daughter to try them on. When we got to the back to the fitting room area, we weren't sure if we can just go into a room or wait for one to be opened. There was a lady putting on tried on clothes on the hangers. She glanced at me and didn't say anything. I asked if we can help ourselves to a fitting room or does she open one for us. She rudely said I needed to wait for her to finish what she was doing then she will open one for me. She walked us over to a fitting room where the door was already open, doesn't say anything and walks away. We said thank you and still nothing from her. When we were done trying on clothes. My husband found an outfit that he wanted to try on. He goes to the back area where the fitting rooms are at. The lady shows him to his room and tells him he needs to leave his bag outside of the fitting room because they do not allow other shopping bags outside of the store to be in the same fitting room. I was a bit concerned at that point because the lady did not tell me to leave my three bags outside of my fitting room. I brush it off until I saw her helping another lady to her fitting room but did not ask her to leave her bags out. That lady had two big brown bags on her shoulder with her purse. I was trying to brush it off but it bothered me so I called the store after I left. I spoke with Jen the manager who said that Karen was in the back of the fitting rooms. Jen said that Karen was supposed to ask all customers to leave their bags out of the fitting room. Jen said that was their policy for a long time now which I have never experience when I shop there and try on clothes. I don't want to make it a race thing but I feel like it is because she did not ask me or the other lady to leave our bags out when we had handful of bags. My husband only had a tiny bag that fit his hat in. He is a different race from the both of us so I feel like it is a race thing. It was really disappointing to experience. I'm glad he didn't let it bother him, but my daughter is mixed and I don't want her to be treated wrong. When we finally checked out. Again, the same girl helping at the cashier register was still helping customers. Now I see 4 girls chit chatting in their group. One makes eye contact with me but doesn't say anything. as the line is getting longer one of the girls in the group leaves, someone asks her to go help at the register. She looked like she didn't want to. She called us up and didn't greet us or anything. It was a quiet transaction. This place was horrible and I definitely will never come back. don't come here. Once in a while, we'll find good deals at this location. Normally, we leave empty-handed. Today, though, was a different story. We were able to do a lot of Christmas shopping cause we found awesome deals! It was 40% off all the Clearance items plus we had a 30% off total purchase coupon! Went to buy a couple of items because I had received a gift card for my birthday. At checkout, I asked the clerk if I could use my gap card to pay and then pay it off with cash or my personal debit card in store. He said no, so I said then I won't pay with my gap card. I wanted to get points since that's the reason I signed up for the card. So the clerk started scanning my items and made a mistake by giving me 10% off even though I wasn't using my gap card. He proceeded to cancel the transaction after I had payed with my gift card. After he did that, my gift card did not work anymore and I lost my funds, which were only 16 dollars. After the manager stepped in and kept repeating the same explanation over and over to try to push the blame away from them. I gave up and decided to cancel the whole thing and left without purchasing anything. Now after three days of battleling with the gift card company I still don't have my funds and am very dissapointed with Gap. The funny thing is that I was telling my girlfriend that I only buy my clothes at Gap before this incident. It sucks because I won't shop at a place where I feel people have treated me wrong and in a condescending manner. So I ended up losing 16 dollars for a 10% discount. read more

Same as the kids gap....hit and miss. The staff is helpful. The clothes are always a mess so make sure you have time to look through everything on the rack for your size. Also, just because it's on the sale rack, doesn't mean it's on sale! we found this out last week. So be careful. read more

This outlet is in the middle of farm country, but it is not as picturesque as Gilroy. Not that you'd go to an outlet mall for the landscape! When I went to this mall, I was bracing myself for typical farm smells like fertilizer, which is a warning I read about on yelp reviews. Can't be as bad as Coalinga, I said! Fortunately, the air was quite clear. As for this Gap, I'd recommend this store with reservation. Check ahead on the Tulare outlet mall website to see if Gap is having massive sales- I happened to go when everything was 50% off (fine print: except for clearance items). Otherwise, I wouldn't have felt it was worth checking out. At the end of the day, I was happy with my skinny ankle white jeans with very little VPL (visible panty line) for under $30. VPL is a huge no-no with cheap white jeans (I am looking at u, Old Navy). Employees were all helpful and made sure the store was organized. read more

The moment you walk in you are greeted with a staff member looking directly at the ground no eye contact at all. Store is always fully staffed yet no employee ever asks if you need help or greets you while you shop. When it's time to pay they don't even ask "did you find everything you were looking for?" No they jsut take the clothes from your hand and don't even talk. The whole staff their needs major training on customer service because This store is seriously lacking customer service. I love coming to this outlet store...during the middle of the Week! Ha! But for reals, during the middle of the week is best because this store is itsy bitsy and when its busy with people it's hard to maneuver around. Prices are super outrageous high, but no worries they have great sales weekly and when you use your points that you earn from using the Old Navy/Gap/banana republic credit card you basically pay close to nothing. Long line a lot of customers leaving purchases behind and only 2 cashiers for a line of 50 people. I don't blame the employees but the terrible upper management managing the store and doing a terrible job. Literally 2 people in front of me left their garments while waiting in line. This is a really nice Gap. I finally found the Gap hoodie I've been wanting for ages (you know, the one Jesse Eisenberg wears as Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network? That one.) here after over two years of looking for it. Even better? It was $27. Their service is pretty great, they've always been beyond nice when I've been in. They have a lot of things smaller Gap stores don't carry, and their prices are pretty acceptable. Great clearance section, too. read more

I absolutely love shopping at this location the employees always greet me and make me feel welcome. There not afraid to look for the item that I can't find and they help me build onto my purchase because they always have really great sales. Every time that I've been in this location their store has been 50 to 70% off which is good for a college student's budget. read more
