They posted online that they have a restock of there NEEDOH and we decided to get some since we have babygirl who wanted them... only to find out that the "small jelly squish" was $12 which was fine a little pricey compared to other places but since they had them we wanted 2, it was a little suspicious thats they didn't let us them in store until we payed $28 and we got to the car to open them and found out they are FAKE, doesn't say NEEDOH on them, didn't even come in the nice plastic that holds them in place either!!! read more

I took several of my son's named brand items to be sold. After 10 minutes and $21 later they only took a few items. There was nothing wrong with them. When I asked why weren't there accepted they said that they are not collecting boys 8/10 size and referred to this little sign that stated what they needed and not needed. I made the suggestion about posting this on their Facebook page and website. The employee said ok and said I'll try to remember to tell my manager about that. I followed their guidelines to prepare my items for only $21 it's not worth it considering my clothes looked better than others inside. read more

Came in for the first time today, staff is very friendly and the store is neatly organized. I brought in a like new bed side bassinet that retails for $160 and they only offered me $30 which sucked but I didn't need it anymore and my boys needed some new clothes so I got a bag full of assorted clothing for my boys in trade for the bassinet. I feel like they didn't have the much little boy stuff, they had tons of girl stuff but if your a boy mom like me your used to that by now. read more

I went there to sell a lot of baby clothes took my time washing folding and drove from Lemoore to the store and they only chose a couple of outfits and gave me 12 dollars ridiculous!!! It was our 1st time visiting. Really liked the store, the selection, prices, and the friendly staff. We will definitely be coming back. The bad reviews I've read seem to be mostly from customers thinking they're going to get rich selling used items to a thrift store. I think it's rather greedy of these customers considering most thrift stores only offer a donation receipt for tax purposes. I'm sure a lot of effort goes into preparing any items received for resale. I hope this store is around for many years. read more

I come here alot. Theres so much variety for all three of my kiddos. New and used... the items are in great condition. I love the staff. There always helpful and even help when you call. I was at another store and wanted to check and see of they carried soccer shoes for my kids and see what the prices were, and of course I got a better deal at twice upon a time. The fact that they take the time to find what you need makes every penny worth it. Customer service is excellent. And the store is always organized. They have a great play area that locks up the kiddos and a TV with cartoons. Bathrooms are clean and have a baby changer. And there always there to welcome you in. What a disappointment, came all the way from Clovis California to do business with this company. We brought a lot of items which were new and slightly used. We were expecting a fair amount of money for what we had. Had I known we were not going to get a fair deal, we would've just sold the items at a yard sale. We would've made at least twice the amount that they gave us. We brought in several items at least 30+! and only received $35 for the entire amount. This is my first experience with this store, and from walking in seeing a friendly staff and Christian music playing in the background, we thought that we were going to get a fair deal. We were soon disappointed when they gave us a check for the $35 for what we brought. No itemized list for what they took and how much for each item. This place represented themselves as christians, with the music in the background. Change the music at least when your going to cheat people. My daughter and I are both heartbroken over the transaction. We needed money for our grandchild and we thought that this would be a good place to do business. If anybody's considering bringing items to the store I would reconsider and sell your items at a yard sale. At least you would know that you would get a fair deal. Our mistake for taking the $35! Just had higher hopes about this place. Would have given them a 5 star rating if they allowed negative stars!! read more

wice Upon a Time is awesome! I have sold many gently used, (and sometimes even never used with tags) items to the store and they made it very easy to sell it to them. You leave the items and then they call you and tell you what they are going to buy from you and for how much. After that you have the choice to sell it to them or not. Once you decide to sell they make it super easy and give you store credit or send you home with a check for your items. This store also has brand new items. I was looking for a new pair of ballet shoes for my daughters rapidly growing feet and was able to purchase a brand new pair for half the price of Target. Absolutely my FAVORITE place to shop for my sons clothes. Kids grow out of clothing so fast & this place has NAME BRAND sometimes with brand new tags for such a low price. They have tons of Carters, Cat & Jack, North Face for literally almost nothing. They also have supplied us with my baby'a bathtub, bumbo seat, camera and activity center. Everything is organized by sex and size and you don't have to go crazy finding what you need. They also have sales where you buy a bag ($5 or $10) and you fill as much clothing as you can! Totally recommend if you have kids. read more

I brought in a lot of baby clothes for cash, about 3/4 were never worn/brand new. It took what seemed like forever and when the person was finally done sorting through the clothes, I was only offered only $13 for about 13 new and gently used items. There didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to what they are doing over there. The reasons I was given for why new clothes were rejected and the small amount offered for the items chosen didn't make any sense. I'll try my chances on EBay. One star.. read more

HORRIBLE STORE! Very poor customer service! Rude employees! Their Prices are TOO HIGH for used clothes. I'd advise to check ROSS 1st; you WILL save money and have NEW items shopping at Ross rather than here. Also, if you are selling your clothes to them, you will only receive 1/4 to 1/6 of what they're worth. JUST BETWEEN FRIENDS is a MUCH better option! I bought a pair of pajama pants for my daughter that were ripped all the way up one side that wasn't noticeable until she went to to put them on. And the pair of sandals I bought were both missing the bands that went around the ankle. Several of the shirts I bought had little holes from where they were tagged because it wasn't done in the seam as it SHOULD be. I will NEVER be going back there. I went a couple of times in the past month and was NOT impressed with the service from employees nor the quality of the items purchased. Go garage sale shopping, you will find the same stuff for 1/10-1/15 the price! Literally! And sale your items at JUST BETWEEN FRIENDS or on line so that you don't allow yourself to be completely RIPPED OFF by this store!! read more
