WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER . I was up charged for a mistake when they were clearly at fault . I came in today for a pair of jeans. The pants were clearly labeled as $65 but rang up as $75. I pointed this out to the sales associate because I was confused by the higher price. She told me that it was "an old price and they usually cover up the old sticker". But you didn't and it clearly shows a lower price. They refused to honor the sticker price and acted like it was my fault it was mislabeled. I will NOT be shopping here again read more

First time at this Boot Barn and it did not disappointed. Our main goal was to find a nice hat to match our boots. We ran into Desiree, one of their lovely workers, and she was immensely helpful. She explained the different styles of hats and how the sizing works. After an hour of discussing about hats and trying them on, we ended up buying three hats. I've stopped by in Tulare ca Boot barn. I never had any problems always enjoyed my visit. But this one day really bothered me and I can't let it go. On Tuesday around 5pm I was being helped by a young lady named Rebeka. She helped me with everything I needed and answered all my questions, she is very knowledgeable, on the walkie talkie I can hear someone tell her she needed to be back in boots, she apologized to me and told whoever it was once she was almost done with me, she will go back. I guess that wasn't good enough for that person and continued to tell her to go to the back. Rebeka was helping out and was on the phone with another store to get boots transferred. I was very upset about how unprofessional that was. I asked for the name of the person but Rebeka wouldn't give it to me just said don't worry about it and my boots will be here before Saturday and they were I got them Thursday. I think if someone is working with a customer, they shouldn't harass the worker like that. I believe they should let them do their job and I think you really need to look into this and retrain your workers on how to act around customers. Rebeka is awesome I was surprised on how fast I got my boots. I will go to this store only if she is working, this really needs to be addressed. read more

It takes a lot for me to rate less than three stars, but this location is severely lacking customer service. The managers bark and degrade the employees through the radio and employees' willingness to help is a direct reflection of their management staff. During a previous visit, I've arrived about 10 minutes before closing and was told they were closed by a younger guy. I was attempting to explain I knew exactly what jean I needed when he interrupted "Sorry: we. Are. Closed." This last visit was rough. The store was busy, but there were four employees in one boot aisle. When I asked for the specific boot, the first three didn't move and the fourth gal acted put out as if thinking "I guess I'll show him". I tried them on, liked them, walked out empty handed after reconsidering supporting this location. NOTE: Some time ago Boot Barn bought Sheplers. After checking prices after my last visit, Zappos.com "regular" price is the same as Sheplers' "sale +20%" and Zappos provides free returns. 11 days ago, I left my partner's Risistol hat for cleaning and re-shaping with Diana. She reassured me that it would take 2 to 3 days and that they would call me when they were finished. A week later I went into the Tulare store to enquire after the hat to find that it hadn't yet been done. Again I was reassured that it would be done in a day or two and that I would receive a phone call. Today called to check on the progress of the hat to be informed that they not only could not find the hat or record if it. So I promptly went to the store where I did indeed find the hat under a pile of other hats in a corner in worse condition than I had brought it in. So I get to the cash register and they're all looking at me and my gf. Do you guys not have anything better to do than to do this. I bought a couple button up shirts for $36 each. A bit expensive but I was fine with that. Washed them and they turned to a wrinkled mess. Tried ironing them. Still a wrinkled mess. Took them back with the receipt and they would not refund my money. They said that since they don't say wrinkle free then it's on me. I should have them dry cleaned and pressed. You would think for that money they would want their customer to be happy. This place sucks. Too many places around that care about me being pleased with the product to even try them again. I was so excited to go to this store location after moving here and having LOVED the Paso Robles Location. When I walked in, the store looked huge with a large section of everything. However once in there, I quickly realized there was hardly ANY staff. I was there to buy boots for myself and boyfriend, found mine no problem. After probably 45 minutes of browsing, still NOT ONE STAFF member asked if we needed help. Found a men's boot that we were but needed a larger size, and we found the boot thrown in with other sizes/selection not where it was suppose to be. Finally I track down this staff member who is holding a casual conversation with another team member, as the line at the front is 15+ people deep, and I ask if they have the boot in another size. He then tells me that he's busy and that I can go look for myself to see, in a snotty attitude. Sorry for interrupting your precious conversation! I throw the boot on a chair because I didn't know where it went in the first place and decided I had enough of the store and went to check out. Stood in line for almost 30 minutes well two cashiers worked at snail pace helping ring up customers. Once at cashier, the lady asks if I found everything alright and I replied "no I didn't, wanted a boot and was told to look for it myself" where she replied "oh well. We are short staffed and the women's was suppose to be my section" I replied "there's no one in any sections of your store, there all mingling and chit chatting with each other, I'll drive two hours to the store I know will have beyond excellent customer service" then she tried to get me to fill out a survey because she thought she provided excellent customer service. read more
