I used to waste my time "unsubscribing" using the unsubscribe feature at the bottom of their email, until I finally wised up and realized that it was totally non-functional. The barrage of emails only picked up in pace. I tried using the "reply to" email address they provided, thinking that the personal touch would work, only to have my email bounce back because their email box was full (likely with angry messages from recipients in a similar position). I regard the business practices of Gymboree to be unethical. Avoid these people at all costs.

There's a mix of regular and high end stores here, so you're sure to find a store that has what you're looking for. The food court has a number of fast food options, but you'll need to walk around nearby for better-than-fast-food. The one thing that annoyed me was no directory! None of the boards that should've been directories displayed any kind of map. And no, I do not have any interest in scanning a QR code to pull up something on my phone: in a public place like that, I have no idea if it's legit or not, or if it's a fake one that will hijack my phone or wallet. It was very crowded with high school kids hanging out and playing games in the area. I was able to go around and check out the different stores. On the bottom floor there are several food options. We came to Nordstrom Rack to find reasonably priced clothing for a wedding, which they delivered on. While I was looking through the fabulous shoe selection, I must have dropped my wallet. Contents of the wallet were the standard: id, credit cards, cash ($45), but also included prescription sunglasses. The wallet itself was my mother's. After our Metro ride back to Eastern Market, I realized I didn't have my wallet. Once my initial panic subsided, I began to retrace my steps, riding the Metro back to Pentagon City. I looked, and looked, but no luck. I went back to my son's place feeling defeated. Fast forward a few months, the day before my birthday, I got a package from Nordstrom Rack at Pentagon City. I figured it was a gift from my son, remembering something I liked back in March. Well...imagine my utter surprise and astonishment to find the package contained my long lost WALLET!!!! Not only the wallet, but ALL the contents as well (YES, even the money)!! I was overjoyed!! My faith in humanity restored. WHAT a birthday present!! Walking around the store is a little reminiscent of Hollister & Abercrombie because of a faint scent from one of their perfumes spritz around. My husband got me one of their beautiful ESV 2 column cloth-bound journaling Bible and few little decor pieces from them. I'd never seen anything like it. Prices are a little on the pricey side (e.g. dresses are averaging over $100). Service is fantastic--attentive and friendly. While browsing around, a lady approached me (with a floral crown) and asked if I needed any assistance.
