However, Zach came out later that same day for the estimate, and he completely changed my impression. He was professional, honest, hardworking, and got straight to the point. The coordinator had their plumber Spencer call me to see if I had any questions after our initial call. I initially brought in another company for an estimate but called Spencer back for a fact check to verify the first company's pricing. Spencer was able to respond immediately with what Leak Geek's pricing would be for the same pricing and said they could get out there within about an hour. I ended up hiring Leak Geeks, and Spencer got here within about 30 minutes of being dispatched. He did a great job identifying where the leak was coming from. It was a worse case than I had hoped for, but he found it. He cut and capped the line so I could still use the rest of the water in the house while the drywall was being remediated and the eventual repairs could be made. He referred a remediation company, American Water Damage, who had an estimator come out, again within about an hour, provide an estimate, and get a remediation tech to come out to move a basin, cut open the upstairs wall, and place fans and a dehumidifier. I'm impressed and relieved that they could get all of this done in the same day. Spencer was friendly and professional throughout. Then I disconnected the hose from the water heater and notice that the gas line was also disconnected from water heater exposing the gas line. I called back Firat American Home Warranty about the gas line expose because it was disconnected by Cris of Blue Diamond plumbing. He suppose to ask first the water heater replacement approval before touching the water ( disconnecting the gas line and bypassing the water supply to the water heater).
