I have made three phone calls to their office since he came out 3 weeks ago. I asked the lady that answered if he just doesn't want the work. She said, I'm going to be honest with you, he just takes a long time. My advice to anyone reading this, finish the read and find another company. This company doesn't want the work. Why did he come to my house to provide an estimate and waste my time. If the job wasn't big enough then say you decline the work. Don't say you want the work then never supply an estimate. This owner is not trustworthy, and frankly a terrible person! Beware of this business! I'm giving one star bc I could give less!

After talking to several pool companies, I went with my gut (which is quite big, btw) and had Tammra and her team come get my pool looking more like a pool and less like a swamp. 2 days later, after all the chemicals kicked in and my filter was working correctly, I could swim again. 2.5 years later with 1 new filter, several small repairs to my pool's aging equipment and a consistently crystal clear pool, I am still a very happy customer.

She is sharp, has all the answers (can schedule on her own, apparently, and knows what the leak detection report costs and even what it would cost (as I suspect is necessary) to replace my skimmer, which has a big crack in it. She sent FORREST to do the leak detection, and he did the skimmer replacement. I think I still have another problem, which he couldn't find, but I'd rather wait to know for sure anyway. He was honest in telling me, Kylie confirmed, and I'll wait until the ground (at the edge of EML lake) dries in the summer, and the leak may get worse. On repair day, Forrest showed up on time, and he and his helper were personable. Oh, and check out troublefreepool.com. There is a way to do a COMPLETE JOB HERE. NOT JUST DRIP SOME DYE IN, OR SAY "MAYBE ITS....". You need all the plumbing plugged, pressure test, and listen for sounds with a microphone below the patio.

We had Right Way completely replace all the tiles on our pool Nov. 2021, seemed good at the time,…read morehowever last year the tiles started falling off again after just 4 years. We did discuss with them last spring fixing the ones that fell off, they gave us an estimate for repair, which we felt was too high as the tiles had never been applied properly to the pool wall. See the pictures of what we are seeing today all of the tiles will likely fall off as the year goes. Based on research, pool tiles should last and stay in place at least 10-15 years or more if applied correctly, these didn't even make it half way. I really expected a quality job from them, but I guess not. See pictures of how the tiles are looking today.

My pool pump motor died on Black Friday of Thanksgiving weekend. Ugh!!…read moreI immediately called who I had used before, which was Mid Cities Pools who claimed to be open. But never heard back. I'm actually glad I found Pony Express instead. I liked working with Zach the owner. He is easy going and polite and did use his mask when I was around too. I asked for an estimate ahead of time and he had no issues giving one. That made selecting his business over others very easy. He also will let you pay via credit cards or cash/check. Again very easy to work with over others. When Mid Cities Pools never called back on Friday or Saturday, I started worrying about the freeze warnings I heard about coming on Sunday. The one thing I did learn is no one could actually replace the motor on a Sunday, or at least none that would work in the Mid-Cities area. Because of the freeze warning, Zach offered to at least come out and bleed the lines in case of freezing. I felt that was such a cut above others. I ended up not having him do that, but I can tell you that after finding out how few pool repair companies work on a Sunday in a major cities like the DFW area, I was shocked I couldn't pay anyone extra even to do the work. So pray you don't have pool motor issues with a freeze coming on the weekend. I would have given Zach 5 stars if he could have replaced the motor on Sunday. But I would give 4 1/2 if I could. I'm not sure how with Yelp. In the end I found the Pony Express's pricing and the length of time it took for Zach to complete everything to be right on point with what Home advisors and Angie list said it would take. Bottomline around 3 hours of labor(include drive time) with the pump motor ran $535 w/tax. Again, that was at the reasonable rate listed by Home Advisor and Angies List. I had one company price me $1200 and not even for getting it in an emergency on Sunday either. That would just be the price. So as you can see I really looked into finding someone to do the work and for the going rate. Zach was that person. I even plan on having him come back to fix another issue I was starting to have with my automatic chlorination system. He was able to look at it and give me 2 options for fixing it. My pool was installed in 2000 and this is the original system. The motor was more than 10 years old so I knew it would go soon. All in all I'm happy I found a new pool company to use, because even after calling and leaving more than one message for Mid Cities pools(one on Friday at 1pm and one on Saturday too) they finally called back on Monday. They called to say they no longer do pool equipment repairs. If they had a voicemail system and not an old answering machine they might have gotten my message on Friday and called me back ASAP. I left messages on both their phone lines too. Remember this is late November with a freeze warning coming that had me starting to panic. Mid Cities just did nothing during working hours and their machine didn't say they were closed on Friday either just closed over the weekend. I honestly think you will be very happy if you use this company. Zach really was very knowledgeable too. Thanks Zach for a job well done.
