Lunch of the day (cup of curried veggies and paratha- or tortilla) and an order of samosas with their dipping sauces
Tyler A.

For a few months now I have been interested in stopping in. So, on my way home today, I did. Being a Persian-American, I am somewhat familiar with Indian cuisine even though I may have only eaten Indian once or twice in my 33 years. So, take this review with a grain of salt. The restaurant is nothing of fancy and decor is not "authentic" at all, but they do show authentic ingredients in the front refrigerator. Today, I admitted I didn't know what to order other than samosas, which Persians eat too. So, the gentleman recommended the lunch menu (see foto by Ester). I don't know what's I'm getting, but it's 2 paratha, 1 veg of the day, buttermilk, pickle. I believe the paratha is an Indian style whole wheat flour tortilla, and the veggie is in the curry sauce. Cut - I just had my lunch (picture to follow). As Fieri says, that was a trip to flavortown! The samosa was great; it was filled with a well spiced veggie mix. I tasted curry, turmeric, paprika and it came with two dipping sauces: one sweet (red) and one savory (green). The veggie of the day was a mixed veggie combo that was flavored with curry and oil, and I used the homemade paratha as my spoon. It was delicious! If you're willing to try ethnic food, Ganesh Divine is definitely an option for you! The restaurant is easy to miss however. It's between Middlesex HS and the Toro store, on the same side of the street as both, and it has a green awning. Check it out!

My sister and I came here after shopping at Bridgewater mall on a Wednesday evening since we were craving Indian. Was super disappointed with the service. I love a spinach curry called palak paneer/ sage paneer so I asked the woman who came to our table after about 5 minutes of sitting ourselves at a table if they had this dish. The woman seemed nice but could not really speak English and goes back into the kitchen for about 3 minutes to check if they could make it. The woman said yes they have it so I asked for that and my sister and I ordered two more dishes. The food took about half hour to be served even though we were the only table in the restaurant. We figured out that the woman was running the restaurant on her own so she was making the food for pick up orders that randomly came in. 20 minutes after we placed the order another man came to the restaurant to help. I ordered a Chai that didnt come until the meal. The Chai is not worth ordering. The Palak Paneer was nothing that I wanted and they charged me 12 bucks for it even though all the other curries were about 10-11! These curries and dishes are wayyyyy over priced for the portions and taste. The Garlic naan we ordered was not freshly made and was too doughy. The food overall was disappointing. I would not be coming back.

Best India vegetarian food I have ever tasted in USA. Samosas and Bombay Grill sandwich are my favorite here. Lovers of Indian-Chinese (Desi Chinese) must try Ganesh Divine's Paneer chilli and Veg Manchurian. One more thing on list is "Methi's Bhajia" also known as Methi Pakoda. In addition to tasty food, the owner of the restaurant offers extraordinary customer care. What a lovely place in central jersey. I regularly visit here and it has become one of my favorite restaurants in New Jersey. Most deserved 5 star. N.B. Cheapest and Tastiest Bombay Grill Sandwich in New Jersey.

We went there after reading 5 star ratings. Their main business is catering.. Owner of store is very nice. I was just checking out a packed sweet thing and was asking him question abt sweet and he opened the packet and offered me to taste it.. it was very good made with butter. I ordered Panipuri, Veg noodles, coffee, chole Bhature, rasmalai. First arrived Panipuri. I loved everything but Puri wasn't crisped and that's just didn't go well.. pani, chutney and potatoes filling was good but not puris.. next was veg noodles-- very good- tasted like back home.. chole bhature -- it was more like poori than bhatura but chane/chole were good.. coffee was very good too.. overall it's very good place.. Flavors are more favoring Gujarati taste... one extra star for Owner being super nice ... good authentic Food

Amazing amazing amazing food. Especially the Indian style veg noodles. Out of this world. Genuinely friendly owner unlike others who sport a fake smile to impress customers.

I walk is and it was very welcoming environment... From the start i was warmly greeted and offerd suggestions based on my. I order the lunch special for 6.99 (2 paratha breads with 1 vegetable and buttermilk or yogurt n picked sause) While i waited the owner offered me 3 pakoda for me to taste... which are a mix of deep fried spinach mixed into chick pea flour with carom seeeds with 2 sides of chutney sauses.... this was fantastic!!!! The first chutney was chick pea flour based warm and semisweet and almost creamy....the second chutney was much sweeter cold and had almost citrus flavor with very herbs pesto like susbtance and texture added... by far my favorite... the actual pakoda was served warm and tanted lifht but very flavourful... i can taste the onion and garlic as well as spinach and chick peas when dioped in chuney it is like a burt of flavor in ur mouth loved it... my vegetable was the simple mixed veggies and honestly im hooked!!!! OMG DELISH!!!!!! SPICY but so flavourful the yogurt mellows it all outthe bread was flaky and perfect for dipping all in all it was a not only a great expirence but amazingly delish too

Dessert corner! Def Don't judge this book by its cover.

Yelp reviewers were not kidding this place is hands down is amazing it opened up 2 years ago, so not much advertising. The food is ridiculously cheap, good portions! And service is nice.

Samosas, delicious!

4-Star Review - Delhi Garden, NJ…read more Tried Delhi Garden recently on a friend's recommendation. It's a bit out of the way from the central Edison area, but worth a visit every now and then. I saw some solid reviews online and decided to check it out. Service was good . Atmosphere not that great . Overall, I was leaning toward a 3-star rating, but a few standout dishes pushed it to a 4. The aloo cutlet with chole was the star of the show--super authentic and flavorful. The paneer tikka and paneer masala also hit the mark taste-wise, though I wish they had packed a bit more spice. The paneer tandoor came in a generous portion, but again, it could've used more flavor. The biryani was just average. One common theme--everything was low on spice, and the small container of spicy sauce they give barely lasted a few bites. It's a takeout-only spot, so no dine-in tables, and the parking area is small but manageable. Price-wise, it felt fair for the portion sizes. Not perfect, but worth trying if you're in the mood for North Indian flavors and don't mind customizing the spice at home!

It tasted absolutely delicious. The vegetable samosas had a perfect crispiness to it and were delicious as well and the filling was perfectly seasoned. The sauce it comes with makes it even better! The service is very nice too. I requested an adjustment to the malai kofta before and they accommodated it without hesitation, which I truly appreciated. It turned out delicious as well. I'm always extremely satisfied with the food here. 10/10 every time! The restaurant does not have seating. It is takeout only. There's a table at the front for placing or picking up orders, and they have a decent amount of parking.

Prepare to have the spice of your life! The samosa is a fantastic starter. It's filled with chicken and many secret ingredients. The garlic naan is great for dipping in the chicken tikka masala butter sauce. Although most of the chicken chunks are drowned in the butter sauce, there's still plenty to serve 1-2 people. Thr tandoori chicken goes well with mint cilantro chutney sauce. This green sauce may have an awkward color, but it gives the perfect kick to this bone- in chicken plate. There's plenty of seating if you decide to dine in. Keep the water handy as you'll definitely need it to wash down the spices!

Very nice authentic Indian buffet in Somerset! My son and I…read morestumbled upon this place after passing by several times due to my son's fear of his tree nut allergies. It was Saturday lunch time and they had buffet going on - and the selection was pretty good. I confirmed with the nice owner that none of the dishes had tree nuts except almond in the dessert and we got to eating. Couple highlights include: Vegetable Pakora - crispy and full of good veggie bites, it was not too greasy and my son was fascinated by how delicious it was to eat. Tandoori Chicken - This was surprising because most places the tandoori chicken is a bit dry, but this one was flavorful and succulent. Their garlic nans, which we ordered separately, were fluffy, chewy, flavorful and just a joy to eat all of the food with - we enjoyed their various veggie dishes with the nans and washed it all down with their almond dessert, which my son had a sip or two and did not have any allergic reactions. The price was a bit steeper than I expected (I did not check price carefully), so most likely won't be coming regularly, but it's a great choice when you really want to eat-eat, esp. with a hungry teenager. We'll be back again.

But this one didn't have anything going for it to make me want to give it a second chance. From the decor , service , food et all . Nothing worked for us here. This was an impromptu stop to get dinner since we were in the area. It didn't have great Yelp ratings but we still wanted to give it a chance. It was a weekday evening and the place had one table occupied. That gave us some courage to walk in to a seemingly empty restaurant. Since the objective was to have a quick meal we planned to order few basic things . Chicken Biriyani - was quite bad . Rice had an overpowering fragrance of rose water & spices , meat was not fresh & the Biriyani didn't offer a punch! Malabar Chicken Curry - This was just ok. Chicken was not fresh! Malabar Parotha - Flaky & Good. Having tried their basic offerings recommend by the waitress, our experience wasn't promising , as the food wasn't fresh & the place wasn't inviting. Most of the Kerala specialities like Appam , Dosa wasn't available . They seem to be focussed on their lunch buffet, weekend dining & mostly takeout for weekdays. That made dining in on a weekday quite blah! This place is normally way off for us to frequent and given our mediocre experience I wouldn't make the trek !

Parking is always a challenge when heading to any restaurant in downtown, but since it was a weekday, we found a spot easily. The entrance and ambience are fabulous -- with Buddha statues placed at the entry and throughout the restaurant, and beautiful hanging red/lavender tree leaves adding a lot of charm Coming to food, as we were party of 7, we ordered * Kale Pakora * Bhindi Churi Muri: crispy, veryt thin slices of ladyfinger- good 4/5 * Lasooni gobhi *Tandoori Medley: mixed platter. Honestly, not sure why they'd include large chicken pieces here; felt like something borrowed from a buffet platter. The only items I liked were the mutton seekh kebab and prawns. *Gobhi Manchurian: too much sauce - 3/5 * Jhinga Masala: tomato-based gravy with prawns, nothing extraordinary, 3/5 * Bhuna Gost : nope, could not find the gravy... 2.5/5 * Lamb Biryani: average and disappointing, 2.5/5 * Eggplant Bharta * Gobhi Paratha, Tandoori Roti, Garlic Naan, Laccha Paratha * Jaljeera, Lassi, Lime soda To be honest, food was pretty average. Bharta and Bhuna Gosht definitely could've been better. It felt very hit or miss--none of the dishes really stood out Also, Portion was way less then what other restaurant serves! Service was good but again we were the only party there! they added 20 % gratuity by default Overall, I'd rate it 3 to 3.5/5 at best. I'll probably skip it next time unless they bring in something new. Bring some new flavor team, you are not offering anything new!
