    Live worms inside the package

PATHETIC PLACE!!! to start with. Almonds were expired n the oats are an year old. Oats are stocked rite in front of the register and still an year old and unnoticed. Almonds had "LIVE WORMS' moving inside it. When I spoke to the ladies at the register, they were like very rude and said that is how they sell their products. I got the managers number from other sources and to my surprise he never got back even after ive sent him the pics. Seems like they wanted to carry the culture of selling outdated goods. This place deserves a negative rating if possible. Adios!

This grocery store should be closed. Store selling expired items and do not accept returns. Attached is the receipt and expired item label. Avoid at all cost.

Now a days they started keeping all expired items, I informed so many times to owner but no response. First they they said they will remove and now it's Diwali offer and reduced price. Please don't buy those or avoid expired items. I am not sure whom to complain about so, posting some pictures.

As long as you're looking for Asian - particularly Indian groceries - this is the place for you. It's got almost everything you'd need for cooking Indian food (especially on a daily basis). Pickles, spices, rice and ground wheat , Indian cookies, snacks, vegetables et al. There's also a good selection of frozen and refrigerated products - stuff like samosa, roti, naan ... They also carry organic lentils, organic Indian yogurt, organic panner and organic rice. There's rotis, dosa batter and homemade pickles (yum!!) available in small batches made at "curry in hurry" - really reliable. This store is a lifesaver for me and all the rest of us Indian folks.

If u r looking for mostly indian groceries, this is the right place for u.u can find almost all things from vegetables to puja ingredients. .though I felt the place overcrowded with items, because it's a small store.so u need to scooch by aisles. .but that's not a problem as far as I can find my needs in here.

We attended a drama that was sponsored by the store (see attached photo) and the experience was horrible. The event was badly managed by Hamir (the owner) and everything about it was 3rd class under his management: - Bad venue/neighborhood - No parking facility - No auditorium - Worst seating arrangement in a stinking hall; No chairs for seat numbers and tickets sold to us. - No respect for audience's time - Show started 1 hour and 20 minutes late. - Horrible audio - dialogs were simply not audible. - Poles in hall were blocking audience's view of the stage - Nobody understood Sanjay Goradia's dialog because the actor had bad throat issues. - Tickets were overly priced and sold at 50% discount at the venue Show was not worth going to even if tickets were free. Our group of 15 people left before intermission as it was a waste of time. And we all reached the conclusion that we will avoid all events brought by Manpasand.

Then I worked my way to the cafe/kitchen. I ordered 2 beef tacos. My Spanish is very limited. The sweet woman helping me spoke zero English. There were a lot of outside workers enjoying their lunch. I ended up with 2 papusas. Not sure of the meat filling- looked like chicken. (LOL), then a gentleman spoke to me and this time I got 2 beef fajita tacos on nice fresh corn tortillas. I kept the papusas too. They offered refrigerated cases of soda pop including Jaritos and juices, they also had large containers of several flavors of Agua Fresca of which I ordered a Grande Mango flavor. You could get your beverage with milk added as well. Probably seating for 25. No menu-once I moved up in line I could not only smell but I could see the steam tables which faced the staff and were loaded with food. There were a handful of things I didn't recognize. What I did recognize was beef fajitas, beef lingua, tripe, caldo de res, refried beans, Mexican rice, fresh tortillas. I sat down and opened the 2 beef tacos and ate one. It was really good and I was full so took the rest home. They sure don't skimp on the beef!!!! There were lots of diners coming and going. Most of them were getting combination plates. I'm going to have to figure that out next time. I had asked for a side of frijoles, but I was likely confused because I think the beans and rice only came with combination plates. Anyway, I enjoyed my taco and I'll definitely go back after I polish up my Spanish a bit !!!!

Today I got to relive the wonderment of being a child at the Big bizarre farmers market. First, let's talk about the grains and seeds. I don't know how many times you've eaten dal or cumin or coriander and really didn't know what the original form of that seed. At the big bizarre farmers market i got an opportunity to see the original form of floods i have v eaten all my life. I was so captivated by seeing foods in their raw form. I cruised every aisle, carefully weaving back and forth, back-and-forth down every aisle until I got to the back of the store,.I noticed fruits and vegetables and some unusual ones like aloe vera and pearl onions. I have actually heard of pearl onions, but I don't know that I've ever seen a pearl onion in real life. So that's pretty cool. Ne, net, visiting the big bizarre farmers market was like going on a tour of a very unique grocery store. Totally loved it.... My cashier was very pleasant and she rang me up very quickly and packed my items into a bag and I was off. The staff was very friendly and one of the things that I have to point out is that the store was super clean, which I enjoyed. Prices were extremely affordable. I purchased turmeric, wheat vermicelli and peach green tea.

Dabeli was ok, 1.99 Dollars, but was lacking the spices and juicyness, probably chuntey were not applied in sufficient amount. Chola bhatura was amazing. In the 11.99- you get two giant bhatura. Little oil on top of bhatura which is expected but not too much. What I liked the most is that it came with good amount of yogurt, pickled onion. Yogurt balance the spices of chola. Even the quantity of chola was huge. Definitely two people can easily share this. They have few table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy your meal. Most of the chaat items were lower in price than a restaurant. I wouldn't recommend dabeli but chola bhatura - yes! There is a live pani puri counter as well. Unlimited pani puri for 10 dollars. Sometimes the sitting area can get little busy so be ready for that.

This store gets super busy too but parking is much better since there's a decent lot. It's easy to navigate through the store and get to all our favorite things. I then said, "Wow you are a great husband!" When it was my turn to pay, the husband said to me that it was so nice of me to give flowers to the seniors that he was going to buy another dozen for them for me to distribute. I was actually a bit stunned because no one has ever been so spontaneously generous. So I grabbed both bouquets of flowers and headed to the independent living center. Because many of the seniors were visiting with their families, only two seniors were there today. So each one got a dozen roses each for Mother's Day. One lady said she had no children and she would not have received any flowers on Mother's Day. Was it divine intervention or kismet? You decide. I was blown away by the circumstances. Today was a giving environment.

Their pav is usually fresh and soft. Best part once I was buying these and last at counter told me these last only 2-3 days which is very helpful and usually I've not seen this info provided by stores upfront. They also have good decoration and idols and usually you can find most of the stuff during festival celebration. Vipul kitchen is good for snacks, especially samosa. They also have small onion samosa. They do provide both green mint and red tamirand chutney with samosa. I've also done catering order for samosa and everyone loved it. It's crunchy and not so spicy. They can give you discount on bulk order and usually order is made on time. One time I placed order for 100 samosa one hour ago and they were able to manage it. I've tried vipul kitchen curry as well but didn't like it that much.
