Staff was rude was just looking for a PlayStation controller and said they were sold out so when I asked to clarify specifically a PS4 controller the dude at the counter had a very rude tone to his voice knew I shouldn't have been desperate enough to go to game stop but target and Walmart were sold out so I said let's test my luck will not be back. read more

Horrible experience. The GameStop app misquoted my trade-in and I was treated like a thief by their "manager" who after I pulled up their disclaimers and terms was told, "No. It's a glitch and not our fault. We shouldn't have to eat the cost." Very unprofessional service. Several children walked in during this process asking questions about video games and were mocked in a fashion that only an adult would pick up on. The trade-in process took nearly 45 minutes and was unbearable. The manager or whoever is in charge is pretty rude. He has his days where he's not but for the most part he seems like he hates talking and interacting with customers. There's a new guy who's pretty young and enthusiastic. The girl working there last year was also rude and got mad with me when I asked about final fantasy 12 and 10 on xbox stating the game never came out and then tried to play it off when I showed her the case. GameStop in Winder is always incredibly disappointing. Their staff is rude, very unhelpful, and honestly just act is if they hate their jobs. While I get that everyone gets tired during the workday, or Gamestop may not be your dream job - it is still YOUR JOB. This has been on several occasions, and nothing ever changes. I honestly feel like this entire store needs an overhaul of employees. Make your workers more like the Loganville location and I'd love to actually visit more. Until then, I'll drive 30 minutes out of my way NOT to visit this location. read more

When I walked in here, I knew right away I'd come to the wrong place. Apparently no one in that store knows what a female gamer is. When I started looking at games, I was immediately ignored while 12 yr old boys were asked if they wanted to check out the latest games. Seriously? No, I am not waiting for my boyfriend. No, I am not looking for a new Barbie horse adventure game or some other pretty princess game. I'm pretty sure I can beat you at any game and yes, I'm a girl. Since the last review was in 2011, I'll add a very positive light to this place. There are quite a few gamer girls working there and each person at the desk is very kind and quite quirky in their own way. Some of them talk to you and others just try to get their job done. But all in all, I've had very good experiences here and will be buying games from here in the future. My recent visit, I asked if they still sold the first Project Diva game but the guy said he sold the last one awhile ago before I came and said that if I had the second, I can easily download the first in my PS Vita or something like that. I have no skill in it whatsoever but the information was useful. I asked another staff worker what games had really great horror in them (the first guy had gone to the back, I believe). He did think for awhile but came up with great titles of games I haven't heard of before. The Evil Within was the first he suggested but it was rather on the expensive side. He then suggested a game that had 2 in 1, I.C.O and Shadow of the Colossus. Or something close to that. He explained that it wasn't exactly horror, but it had horror elements, which did just fine for me. (He also joked and said if I wanted a game with real horror, Call of Duty GHOSTS would be great) I purchased I.C.o/Shadow of the Colossus and was very happy with the suggestions he made. Played the games and it's just as he says. This place is definitely a cool place to be. Very helpful staff. No one belittles you. Definitely come by when you can if you love games. (I'll definitely come back for The Evil Within when my money budget for games aren't so low! Haha) read more
