Apparently it needed something and they didn't let me know. Well, the part that I got was $80 that's kind of high price for what we had to get then when I got home apparently it wiped out our whole game. They didn't tell me that. We have store credit there but couldn't use it which I think is ridiculous. So if you buy anything from there just to let you know if you take it back, you have to get Store credit. They will not give you your money back.

No one bothered me while I was browsing, which was what I wanted. Good selection (but not great), as several items I saw elsewhere for over market price were not even in their inventory here. I've had consoles for 36 years and I've been a more serious collector for about the last 7-8 years so I know what I'm looking for and I know approximate market value and the selections I made were in the correct range and I didn't see anything too terribly over-valued. They had a lot of other collectibles in the shop, so I thought it was a cool place, and I'll probably go back next time I'm in the area.

About 5 years ago I moved to buying online but now that the comics themselves have scaled up there cost and these 5 cover issue nonsense is so common it's no longer a value to purchase online. I'll tell you that the two gentleman I spoke to on my two visits were incredibly kind and were able to answer my questions. I collect TMNT comics first so it's nice to actually see those comics in the store. I am getting back into XMen which is good so far and Absolute Batman is wild. I'm in my 40s and have been collecting comics since I was a kid. This is a modern comic shop done right. So I'll stop in twice a month.

They weren't pushy at all and very helpful. I ended up finding a really cool Alien toy that goes great with my collection. They also had a $1 area with a bunch of comics! We bought a few just for kicks. They also gave us free comics for making a purchase. I forget the minimum amount but it was nice. If you are ever looking to just browse and are a tad nerdy, drop by! When selling ETBs, to get a vibe how they would treat me as i just moved too town and its my closest local shop. I was initially offered around 60% 65% of market value on 151 ect. ect. which was disappointing. During another transaction, I asked about a dollar card and took time to do my own research. The employee assisting me rolled his eyes and made the interaction feel uncomfortable and dismissive. Even commenting "oh your price matching now." I countered with "no im not that was just my research" was saying i gave in for no drama handed over 3$. He then doubles down with change for the card i don't know he felt shame or just system said differently which im sure it did. Customers should never feel disrespected for asking questions or verifying values. As an adult now, I chose not to make a scene, but if that same attitude had been directed toward a child, a young collector, or a female customer, I absolutely would have spoken up even acted accordingly. This is a Pokémon and sports card shop--a place that should encourage collectors of all ages and experience levels. A little patience, kindness, and respect go a long way. The products and prices are ok, but the customer service and overall attitude need improvement. After much consideration will not be returning even tho i was due for 5% and 10% discount ‍ & thats alright never give in too bad business or bad people & never support them.! Alright lets get this out of the way - this place looks like crap. The walls, floor and even regular people that come into play look dirty, obese and just plain gross. Now, onto the actual business. This place is a card collectors paradise. Literally. There are lots of old cards and the owner sells them for dirt cheap. As in tcgplayer LOWEST price minus a few dollars. And HE DOESNT TAX. Amazing. This place is amazing to pick up singles as they cant be beat anywhere else (cheaper and no tax makes cards like 5 bucks cheaper than squirrel for exmaple).
