Here's an example of some of my most recent finds: In the past five months, I have purchased the most beautiful solid Golden Oak Hatch with glass windows. This has would've cost me $1,300+ anywhere else, and I am thrilled with it!. I'm a game fanatic, so it's filled top to bottom with all of my games. This has been such a blessing to me because prior to this purchase they have been stored in Rubbermaid tubs stacked on each other in a shed find my house. So you can imagine how difficult it been to find one when I want one. Now they are in this beautiful piece of furniture, and I can access any of them at a moments notice and they are displayed beautifully. This is probably one of the cleanest and most organized thrift shops I've ever been to! When you…read morewalk in, everything is perfectly divided into boys and girls sections, sorted by color and item type, which makes browsing easy. They also have a nice little kid area where the kids can hang out while you shop. I picked up 24 items, which averaged out to about $5 an item. While the prices are generally good, I do think they could lower the prices for smaller toddler clothes (like for my 3-year-old) compared to older kids (like my 6-year-old) since it's so much less fabric. The customer service could use some advice. Some staff wasn't very welcoming, and after buying 24 items, the cashier just handed them to me and said "thanks for shopping" ...no bag, no apology, and no warning that they don't provide bags. Trying to carry two dozen loose clothing items out to the car with a 6 year old was challenging. On top of that, they tacked on a $3 card processing fee at checkout without mentioning it upfront. Parents, please beware: I also bought one of the $4.99 sparkly bear jelly squishy toys for my daughter, and it has a very strong, toxic gasoline smell. I looked it up, and the CPSC recently put out a major warning to discard any squishy toys with this strong chemical odor because they off-gas carcinogenic VOCs like benzene. Shops shouldn't be selling these dangerous jelly toys to kids. Bring your own bags and cash if you go, but definitely skip the squishies!
