Look, owner knows their stuff so you're likely not going to find a OOP rarity for $5 but having collected for some time what I can tell you is compare against what you'd pay for the same title on eBay or discogs and then factor in shipping (which you won't pay at the store) and you are getting good prices on the records in the shop. I walked out with 3 records, 2 live albums I've wanted for a minute and could not have been more happy. If you're into vinyl, tapes, CDs, DVDs, check them out. Great record store!

As others have noted, the selection is primarily classic rock and jazz, but there's no shortage of oddities sprinkled in. He's got some great memorabilia for sale on the walls, too. The main thing that sets this place apart is the obvious care that went into the selections. The place is small - you won't find dusty boxes cluttered with duds. They have so much talent it's a pleasure that they are a Bakersfield band. Accompanying Walter this evening was Teddy Zig Zag on keyboards, John Avila on base, Michael Leisure on drums and John Trout, Walter's Son, vocals & guitar. What an all star band each member having a storied history of their own. On concert nights you can call ahead to order one of Jimmy's famous wood fired pizzas for a little nosh preconcert. Lastly your staff was really pissed one time I was in there about some boxes that came in and it made me really uncomfortable, please ask them to keep it professional mostly in front of paying clients.
