I was walking into Game Pro in Palmdale. I met Johnthan, and started to talk to him. He was so awsome and answered all my questions. Plus he told me all about all the upcoming games and products for this year. I was very impressed by his expertise on all the products. He was full of energy and I love his enthusiasm about all the games. Great customer service and I recommend to all coming to this store. Great environment. Joseph A. read more

If you're looking to get fnaf figures at this location don't bother cause I just went there never been to this game stop so this is the first time I'm out of town at the moment so this is the first GameStop I've been to that doesn't have fnaf figures which is crazy but then again, I'm not surprised So if you're a fan of Fnaf, I don't recommend this GameStop. They only had sonic and Dragon Ball and some Xbox stuff. There wasn't really much anything good Oh, and another thing, even though I don't give a shit, but to be honest when I enter the store, the workers didn't greet me to be witch. It's fine by me because I kind of prefer that way. So if you're gonna be one of those that doesn't like it, that's another reason not to come here. I'm not offended by it, but I'm just saying like for other people I guess if they are if they don't greet them, which is weird, but again not my problem. I was at the location at 7:42 PM right before they were about to close or not really close but you know what I mean cause they close at eight This happened in March 16 2026 Also this is the first time I see 5 Xbox series s on there store Update I just read some other 1 Star reviews and dam this GameStop is fuck up and dumb and stupid I find it funny that they refuse to trade for a controller stick drift and motherboard and then the customer went to a different GameStop and they said it was fine and the customer got the funny Lazy ass behavior haha read more

I went in yesterday to go buy some Pokémon cards and the woman at the register told me that I needed to have a phone number and she said the only exception is on Sundays when I don't need to have one. I thought this was weird. She wasn't talking about the loyalty or a free membership. She was talking about the pro membership. So she didn't let me buy any Pokémon cards and I thought this was odd so I called GameStop corporate and they told me that this store was incorrect and I said so basically they're pressuring people into getting their pro membership in order to buy Pokémon cards and they said yes and to not go back to this GameStop to try different store, but that they were incorrectly telling people this... Also, the woman at the register was kind of rude and didn't really want to explain anything. Don't go here. read more

I like that GameStops now have a large selection of merchandise aside from games and consoles. They vary from plushies, collectibles, board games, gift cards, and more. Customer service is not mean or anything, but it's very pushy at this location. So much to the point of inefficiency. Expect to wait in line for over 15 min. They heavily try to up sale the pro membership. I get that they need to meet their quotas, but it's very annoying to be quite frank. Came here expecting a pre-order bonus as advertised everywhere. Turns out you cannot get preorder bonuses here if you don't preorder months in advance because apparently they only ship so many to the stores. That is, unless you buy a pro membership for the additional up charge of $20-$25. -_- There is an emphasis on pro membership being the most beneficial when buying pre-owned items, but that ain't for me. They will no longer be getting my business. read more

Avoid this GameStop. Customer service is horrible and they will absolutely not work with you at all. The 1st time I had an issue with them I came in at 7:05pm to turn in 1 game for store credit. I was turned away because they don't do trade ins an hour before closing. This policy is nowhere to be found on their website or in store. This happened to me on 2/13/26 between 2pm and 7pm. The 2nd issue I had with them happened when I was trading in a console to put towards a PS5 pro. I was attempting to get full trade in credit for my PS5 and they took $100 off the store credit because of stick drift on one of the controllers. I took their word for it and came back with 3 different controls. Their system passed the controls but the employee saw a "wiggle" on the line for the right stick and was told to fail all of them by his manager. 3 almost new controllers have the same exact issue? The funny part is I later took them to another GameStop and they were perfectly fine and accepted. The moment that really frustrated me was when the employee doing the trade in asks me why do I even want a PS5 pro? and if I was aware its only %15 stronger and that I need a nice TV to use it. Every answer I gave him he looked over at his manager, Neko, as if he couldn't believe what I was saying. I was shocked this employee was trying to talk me out of buying it. Good job. I took my money somewhere else. I didn't get the guy's name but he has a mustache and wears crazy thick coke bottle glasses. The dude is incompetent. He had to ask his manager how to do everything. This issue happened on 2/27/26 between 2pm and 5pm. The 3rd and last issue I had with them was regarding a pick up of a pre order I had paid for on my brother's account because it was for him. He hurt his knee at work so it was difficult for him to come in person. They refused to let me pick up the game because my brother was not there in person. I offered to call him or get a picture of his ID or facetime him. They refused any kind of solution I offered without offering any kind of solution. Their solution was for my brother to physically come into the store and ask for a refund. They told me they would put up the game for purchase after 48 hours and the money would be locked to the account until he was physically in the store. The employee took my money at the time of payment the day before and never mentioned any of this. I spoke to their manager. She said her name was Neko? I'm not sure if that is her real name but she was immediately annoyed I asked for help from her. She repeated what her employee said and stated that my brother could sue them if I wasn't authorized to pick it up. Insinuating that your customers are looking to take advantage you is not good customer service. She then told me that she is on her lunch break and she did not want to argue with me. Her only solution was for my brother to add me to his account. It turns out there is no way to do add someone to your account so she basically lied to get me out of the store. I eventually came back with my brother with a full brace and crutches just so we wouldn't have this GameStop location hold onto our money indefinitely. This is completely anecdotal but the vibes are just weird here. They have a few favorites or friends I guess that come by and they'll constantly talk to these people for a while with a line of people. I saw an employee tell some guy if he wanted to buy a new copy of resident evil 9 because she only had one left and this was on release day. I wouldn't be surprised if most people don't receive this level of customer service. Just avoid this place at all costs. If you absolutely have to go into a GameStop, the one in Lancaster are a lot friendlier and helpful. read more

Horrible customer service. Manager and employee ( Alex ) I dealt with were rude and incompetent. The only time they were willing to do anything is when taking my money. I will definitely never go to this location ever again. If this is how they treat their long lasting customers I can see why they have such a low star rating. Do yourself a favor and don't step foot in this store. No wonder GameStop is closing so many stores, they can't take care of their customers. After this interaction I went to the other GameStop in town without any issues, read more

Was told there were product available but did not want to check for the product until "later" when later came by they had a similar product and sold it. Other gamestops make time for their customers but this one did not and was even rude when mentioned I came from a far location. And they said to call maybe to call next time and to not waste gas like that which was unnecessary since I was visiting a family member here. They have the product but did not check for it even though business was slow from what I've seen. Many other gamestops are better than this unfortunately and much nicer. read more

Every time I place an order for pick up online, I receive an email stating that my item is ready for pick up then when I arrive (7:31pm - they are supposed to be closed at 9:00pm) I see a paper sign on the window stating they closed at 7:00pm! This isn't the first time I placed an order, received an email saying my order is ready for pick up and then they decide to close early for whatever reason even though their business hours clearly state they close at 9. The two women in the front were dismissive about a trade in. If I could leave no stars I would, came in today trying too look for Pokémon cards etc for my younger 8 year old son for his Birthday (Elite Trainer Boxes) Manger on December 6th around noon 2023 was very rude from the beginning ,I didn't get acknowledged for about the first 8 minutes standing in line, when asked what I came in for I stated I was looking for Pokémon cards, when I ask if I can see the product she didn't give me a chance too see the product hands on (Keep in mind all Pokémon products are behind the register) she stated she has to hold it and I'm not able to touch any Pokémon products before I purchase them,I believe that is very unprofessional, if steeling is a problem at this store they should at least ask for Driver's License/ID before handing you the item's behind the counter. read more

They was holding a product for me, then at the last minute otw there they decided to call me and tell that they closing early...this location is horrible. I'm noticing all GameStop's have this kinda demeanor towards customers. Plus target , Walmart and Best Buy have products GameStop should have considering the name of the store is GAMESTOP! Your supposed to have consoles! Your supposed to have controllers other than white! There is no way GameStop be sold out of what I'm looking for but I go to target or best buy and they have it! And they price match for cheaper than GameStop! ! It's crazy. GameStop isnt the same the way they use to be. Back in the day you could go to gamestop and get anything you need! You can't now! They other day I went to ALL the gamestops in AV and Palmdale they didn't have Ps5s. So I asked the rep at gamestop to call a store in a different area and he CLAIMED that NO gamestops have ps5. But that was a lie. I drove to Azusa and forums a bundle for 700! What happened to NO GAMESTOPS having consoles? Just terrible. I wish someone comes with a store that actually have your gaming needs! Cause gamestop doesn't! read more

Approximately 09 October 2018 around 1720 hours, walked into the store to speak with the management. The manager answered all questions professionally. However, the female working there kept staring with an attitude look on her face. She next blurted something out of her mouth to me. I tend not to hear people who are rude.... She needs to understand the customer... Her attitude and rude facial expressions towards me was ridiculous. Respect your customers young lady. To reiterate, the manager was outstanding!!!! How on earth have I neglected to review our local Gamestop? With an 11 year old boy you can imagine we spend a lot of time (and $$) here. This location is tiny and not staffed for how busy it is (meaning you wait awhile in line). The workers are extremely helpful, always pointing out the best deals and how to save money. There is a ton packed inside this little store. The clearance is amazing (high quality t-shirts for $5 and under). Large parking lot and frequently is in stock with items other stores are not! read more

Walked in to location to purchase an Xbox system along with some games. Unfortunately the cash register rep attended someone that came in after us and completely forgot about us even though the guy specifically said I'll be right with you.
