When we arrived, we were greeted promptly by several employees. They asked us to head to one of the counters in the back and they would assist us shortly. They were so enthusiastic about the Gameboy games my fiancé had. It was nice to see them get excited about games that were popular in the 90's and 2000's. We overheard them saying that they typically match whatever GameStop is currently offering in store credit. To our surprise, they gave my fiancé more than GameStop would have if we would've gone there. This is why it matters to support small businesses. We were happy with the level of service we received here and will definitely be back.

They are growing (still growing) company that cares about the community. I have met the owner and seen his vision. He is there from time to time and interacts with his patrons. The staff is really friendly. Now the only downside is the current location. I was there and didn't have a spot to play on a Friday night but that isn't the stores fault. Everyone had their own little groups and pods so as someone who is alone I feel out of place and had to sit at the cafe. The bright side is they are moving to a bigger location if I heard that right so I am excited for the team and company. To sum up the location it's a place you can play video games. You can rent a room/theatre lounge for private events/gathering. You can rent a computer/consoles to play. You can join a community to play card games, they even have board games to use. A really convenient mini grocery store with all kinds of Asian snacks and ice cream. They even sell boba tea.

It DOES NOT cost that much to send under 1 lb., at most $7-$8 but they do not provide any other option for shipping other than 2-day priority so I placed my order as my 6yr old son really wanted these Amiibos for his kindergarten graduation gift. I placed my order on a Tuesday evening & did not receive it until Saturday. That does NOT reflect 2-day priority. So I got gouged with outrageous shipping charges just to have it shipped late!!! When I addressed my concerns to the business they simply stated that they do not guarantee shipping & responded very unprofessionally. They clearly are in the business of ripping off consumers & DO NOT care about customer retention. As a former business owner, DO NOT OVERCHARGE your customers for shipping, be ethical & give the customer exactly what they paid for! You just lost me as a customer.

This shop is like a futuristic comic shop. I can see how it would be more inclusive and welcoming. Super selection of board games I've never seen and a lot of POP figures. Lots of fantastic books. Those probably filled the shelves more than comics. Good selection of trades. A few I'd never seen before but also I never know what I'm looking for. For someone like me I'd still need to supplement for everything I like. Back issues are non existent here. Possibly helps to keep it smelling nice! Nothing is on sale or "cheap" because the place is brand new. I don't think that's a deterrent though. You just need to set expectations for what you are going in their for. If you're looking for an 80's black and white turtles issue then go to Ontario. If you're looking for a brand new trade that has all those issues from that run in one place than go here. I don't have kids but I think this would be a great spot for parents to take their kids to find young adult fiction. Owner was there and they were so nice and offered to order anything I wanted! My friends and I over the years have had mixed experiences at Uncanny King of Prussia. It was not…read moreactually a comic shop, but a pop culture shop with a weak selection of comics. I visited here in late summer 2021 and found positive changes, including more focus on comics. When I was traveling back through the area again, I didn't hesitate to stop in with a friend and see how it was going. That was a mistake. Uncanny had to move again to another location in the mall over by Nordstrom. Shop's exterior and interior looks nice, not sure they did the work or the previous tenant did. Space is divided into three rooms. The main area has graphic novels, another houses new pull comics, and a final room is full of longboxes. Except...there's a barricade to the longbox room. My friend was confused and asked about it as we primarily came here for the longboxes. Even after being located here for a month, they don't have them ready. This is unacceptable and I felt bad for the employee, who probably had to tell this to more than one customer. For being in a prestigious location, the King of Prussia Mall, this shop lacks a lot of what it should and most of that is direction. I recommend Showcase Comics and Games in Bryn Mawr and Brave New Worlds in Willow Grove for shops that are well stocked, stable, and reliable.

Great comic shop in an unconventional location…read more Uncanny! is the first comic book store I've ever seen in a mall. The King of Prussia Mall is a massive shopping center, but lacked many of the nerdier stores such as Hot Topic, Box Lunch, and Spencers establishments where I can buy cool shirts, figures, and other geeky merch. Uncanny! fills that niche beautifully while also delivering on the experiences I expect from my local comic shop. Uncanny! isn't the largest store, but it makes up for it with excellent space usage. Products are organized neatly into sections from clothes to comics to games. The comic sections are further divided into recent comics, graphic novels, kid comics, and back issues (old/out of print comics). The store is well kept and clean, and the colorful decor makes it feel alive, even when there is no one else shopping. If you are a die-hard collector, you might be disappointed due to the limited availability of items. As mentioned, space is limited, so you might not find some of your old collector issues or rare figurines. But you will find most everything new. If you are looking for something, call ahead. The people here are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are fair, except for the odd retail-exclusive comics that are a bit higher priced than what I've seen in other comic stores. They also offer a loyalty program. Spend X-money, get Y-gift cards. It's pretty simple, free to sign up, and has no expiration. So it's worth your time if you come to the mall every month or so. If you're looking for a gift for that nerdy someone, or just want to pick up the latest DC or Marvel comic, Uncanny! is a fun little stop in your mall shopping experience.

The staff is very friendly and are willing to share their gaming and platform knowledge. The store is small, but it's not that crowded and the prices are right! The store also has a generous policy on returns - for both used and new merchandise - that puts other gaming stores to shame.
