I got dragged into the process and realized that the speakers in my Honda didn't sound that good anymore. Long story short I decided to upgrade the stereo in my car. I studied all the local car stereo shops but the brands carried at most of them didn't inspire much confidence. Low quality name brands tend to reflect the poor service/installs of the places that carry them. Case in point just a couple years before I got a Sony (low/mid level receiver) at the local Best Buy. The installer botched the job. I couldn't even get the air conditioner to work and the heater was on 100% of the time! It took a few days before Best Buy would even fix the problem they created. I ruled out Best Buy immediately for future upgrades. Sounds Unique carried several quality brands and I decided that I'd give them a shot. I listened to several of the speakers in the store and decided on the JL Audio 6.5 inch component speakers and a JL Audio Amplifier. The installation wasn't cheap, but it was well done. I couldn't decide which subwoofer I wanted, so the owner offered to let me try different boxes for a few days each to see which I liked most (without charge!). After testing 3 boxes I decided which I wanted, plus I had them install a high end Alpine receiver to replace the Sony at the same time. The business acumen of the owner was very keen....he smartly knew that letting me test the boxes would make me wish for more control over the sound! The Alpine head unit I selected has separate subwoofer outputs so that fine control could be established rather than the hamfisted control of the cheap Sony I had been using. The sound quality is, frankly, astounding. I have superb sound quality at impressive sound pressure levels with NO distortion. The installation is seamless as well with little hint that the stereo in the car is a monster. I'd give this store a 5 star rating, except that there was a minor error on the part of the installer that resulted in slight damage to the lock on my driver side door. It still works, but a small piece was broken during the install and had to be "fixed". It's an old car and there is no guarantee that wouldn't have happened anyway. All in all I'm quite pleased with the work that Sounds Unique did and will give them future business if I need more car stereo work done locally.

They have the selection that we are used to; even when we order items on their online store if we need to return something, they gladly accept it. It's great that they have a Starbucks inside to get a nice drink. We like their generic food brand products, but I wish that it was a Super Target with more ample selection.

Prices are marked up about 40 percent…read more For instance, a set of Zyex brand viola strings is usually $51 and some change at most string shops. They charge about $85 and refuse to price match. I have personally witnessed them rip people off and take advantage of those who don't understand music on multiple occasions. Once a woman came in to buy a drum for her child to play with as a toy basically. They sold her a $100 snare drum that was meant for a drumset instead of the $30 hand drum that would have suited their needs much better and been cheaper. It was pure greed on their part and utter disregard for the musical needs of the customer. I have also seen them rip people off in the strings department too. I watched them sell a $300 brandless fiddle to an adult beginner for $600. When I tried to let the poor woman know she was being ripped off they told me to leave. I am an emerging musical professional in this area. I have studied and performed music for about 8 years in an academic setting. These people are terrible human beings that will take your money and run, leaving you cold and musicless. Do not shop here.

The staff goes out of their way to take care of the customers, more so than any other business I've been to. If you have an issue, they will often bend over backwards to make it right, generally without you needing to ask. This is how all small businesses should run. Loyalty rewards are fair and carry a wide selection of vaping supplies and liquids, both premium and store brand. The only thing negative I can say about this store is that from time to time they are out of stock of coils. It happens more than I would like but they always seem to restock fairly quickly (within a week or less). There is a vape store right next to my house and a few other I pass on my daily commute. I always go out of my way to go back to this store where I'm treated as more than just another customer. (This business offers incentives to posting reviews, either good or bad. I've have not been compensated for this review and will not accept any for my opinion)
