One of the things that my wife and I wanted moving from a large metropolitan area to a small city was a Target store. We regularly shop at the one here in Las Cruces that is always very clean and neat. They have the selection that we are used to; even when we order items on their online store if we need to return something, they gladly accept it. Disappointed they don't deliver & Shipt isn't available but the pick-up & delivery drive-up options are available which is a nice alternative. I bought a Starbucks PLA Cold Cup Cherry Blossom Jelly 24oz on 3/4/26. When I purchased it there was not a straw topper on it. Today when returning to the store to make another purchase I noticed the cup had a straw topper. I asked a Starbucks employee if the cup came with the topper and she said yes. I asked if I would be able to get a topper since the cup I bought did not come with one. The Starbucks employee stated that they had removed the toppers from the previous cups because people were stealing them. I had my receipt in my app, to show I purchased it, with the time 8:05 pm. The Starbucks employee called a Target team lead to ask if I would be able to get the topper and he replied no? I then asked to speak with him myself, I believe his name is Bobby? He stated that I would have to bring the cup back (after I had already gifted it) to exchange it for a cup with a topper? All of this to receive something that should have already came with it. No other action was taken to try and resolve this. My name or phone number was not taken, nor the information from my receipt that would show the time and register to check the camera to see that I bought the cup without the topper. This is horrible customer service! I have previously worked for a national retail company for many years and this would not have been okay. I have been a loyal Target customer in store and online and do not appreciate the lack of customer care. An exchange could have been done without the cup in hand with my receipt, they could have kept the cup and given me the topper. This whole situation was not handled properly! read more

This location repeatedly violates the Americans with Disabilities Act by consistently failing to provide adequate space between crowded racks of merch for customers who rely on riding carts. Manager Hannah attempted to blow me off when I brought this to her attention, saying she had other obligations to attend to, only attending when she could see how angry I was at this. Not a good pickup experience. I've done Target pickup (and pickup from other stores many, many times), and this was the rudest experience I've ever had. I checked the "bring my own bags" option because Target now charges 10 cents per bag, and because it's more eco-friendly. Target even recommends it, saying, "We will happily bag your items when you pull up!" This employee was so off-putting. I tried to be friendly and even kindly smile and hand him each individual bag, offer extra ones if he needed them, etc. He wouldn't even talk to me, look at me, acknowledge me. I even STILL thanked him at the end, twice, and he angrily slammed the empty cardboard boxes into the cart and stormed off. So weird and totally uncalled for. Easy in and out with ordering on line plus 20% discount on TurboTax Deluxe. Not sure how long the discount lasts but I found it early 1/24/21. I came here to stock up on food and items I forgot to pack before my trip. Much like Target stores in other cities, this location had everything I needed at the time. I made a quick walk through in the grocery section, as well as the toiletry section. The store was clean, well stocked, and thankfully not packed when I got there. The few people that were there were alright folks, I didn't see any weird people that day. The employees here were also very friendly, and were quick to help me out in whatever I needed. We really enjoyed this Target! It was very clean and well stocked. They had a great variety of clothing - including athletic wear. There was a large clearance section as well. We also really enjoyed the grocery section. It has a large selection of healthy, organic produce and meats for fantastic prices! As always, the red card and Cartwheel app made shopping even more affordable. They do have a Starbucks inside despite there being a large standalone Starbucks just across the parking lot. The inside Starbucks does take take the red card and gives you the 5% discount, which is awesome and appreciated! The snack bar does not open until later but snacks and breakfast sandwiches are available at the Starbucks! read more

All the workers I've encountered have been great. Very helpful and quick, plus polite even though having worked retail I know they're tired and underpaid. That said there's something wrong with the pricing and scanning. Frequently (and I mean two or three out of five items) the shelf tag price is 20-70% lower than what rings up at the register. Example: the shelf tag on the eggs i bought this morning was $1.19 and they rang up $1.99. The veggie burger shelf tag was $3.39 and rang up about a dollar more. Note that these are not sale tags but the regular price shelf tags. I brought up in an online feedback form and didn't hear back. I tweeted Target customer service and they gave me some bizarre answer about "keeping prices competitive" that had nothing to do with the issue. read more

Plexiglass for cashiers - sanitized carts - sanitized check out - I use to only go to Target when it happened to be in my path of travel. Now that I see how this employees WORK to keep their store clean and sanitized for us while the big W stays dirty and their employees gather and chat I just have to be loyal to Target! I am so annoyed with this store. The employees are so nice, and the racks are tidy, etc. HOWEVER. The self checking is BS. I didn't fill up a cart with $300 worth of items to sit there and make a huge mess trying to check through with no space to put the scanned items. Then I'm helping an elderly customer next to me because her items are all in disarray and too heavy to pick up, and there is literally one guy trying to manage the self-check. Wtf. ONE regular lane open, and it's winding way into the store. Self-check guy keeps calling for back up, yet no one shows up. Meanwhile, dozens of people are stocking the store, meandering around, NOT being directed to this obvious hot mess at checkout. I'm so patient, but this is a serious issue for me. I have a little baby with me, it really shouldn't be this inconvenient to shop at Target. I won't be filling a cart at this location, it's been too difficult to check out on numerous times. Seriously... you have the employees, add another checker. It's insulting to everyone giving you their money for you to drop the ball once we've already filled the entire cart. Seems to be systemic in these big box stores...Home Depot, next to them, has the same exact problem. I just tried to check out with cumbersome lumber and butcher block, in self checkout, almost killed myself looking for sku's. It's really sad and irresponsible that these companies would rather hoard profits than make it a good shopping experience. DO BETTER. I mostly shop at Walmart honestly because it's so close to my house. However, I had a couple things to pick up on Thanksgiving for their Black Friday sale. I'm sure it's a stressful time to work and manage all the crazy people, but all the employees were so peppy and happy. The store and lines were so well organized. I've reconsidered my 5-star review of this merchant. I needed help finding a product and approached a female in a Target T-shirt while she was pushing a cart. She said she couldn't help me bc she was "off duty". Really!! Does that mean you have no clue where the cutlery is displayed? So much for service. Change your clothes. The store's response, from the E something-titled responder, asked what could we do to "make it right". Are you kidding? Public stoning? Prices have soared well above competitors over the past few weeks and the pull dates on perishables have tightened. I'm passing up the opportunity to support Target any longer. read more

Sorry.... I do love my Targets, but this one just doesn't measure up to most others. First of all, everything seemed dirty and unorganized. The floors were really dirty... the front grey carpeted entry way was dirty. And then the shelves... it was just so odd. They had electronics clearance items on the back end-cap shelve near the stationery area. And speaking of the electronics, it was the weirdest-organized and probably one of the smaller electronics area. Kinda odd. They did have some food... emphasis on the food. Again, I dunno... seemed unorganized. I do love Target, but this one could use a little "spiffing" up. Oh and the cafe area was super small -- no starbucks here. It's like I visited a time-warp Target or something. :( read more

Went to target to look for coffee k cups Wandered around target and there were many staff on the floor. Asked for the coffee aisle and got pointed in the right direction right away. Found a lot of selection and a great sale on the k cups I needed. Went to the pet aisle and they didn't carry what I needed. The pet aisle only carries basic pets aside from cats and dogs and I needed a fish feeder. Nice store and friendly people. read more

3-years later.. Staff is better about asking if you need assistance finding something! YAY! HOWEVER..if the people who are stocking your shelves are going to be in Uniform, they too should offer help to Customers instead of ignoring them. I realize that many of them are young and don't have social graces appropriate for dealing with Customers, but if they are on the floor, they should learn how to work with store Customers. "May I help you find something?"..pretty simple huh?! That's my only suggestion for this location. Oh yes, and PLAIN sparkling water Original Review from 5/24/15: Not my favorite Target store. I do like that they carry a variety of vegetarian options in their freezer section unlike the Albertson's next door. But even if I grab groceries here I still have to run next door for sparkling water since they only carry flavored or Large bottles of Perrier*. And BTW...3 flavors of La Croix sparkling water but not the plain?! C'mon! Despite the many employees roaming the store, only ONE has ever stopped to ask me if I'm finding everything okay. One day I walked around an aisle twice while an Employee was sitting & stocking something on a shelf and not once did he say "do you need help finding something?" Instead, he let me walk around until I finally asked him for a little assistance. Yes, I have a mouth and I could've just asked him. But since employees know the store..it would be nice if when they saw people looking for something they offered their help instead of ignoring them and waiting for them to ask! Guess I'm just accustomed to Employees paying more attention to what's happening around them. The store seems to be pretty well stocked. I purchased all of my Method cleaning products here as well as a few storage supplies. I've never seen a section of the store that didn't have merchandise stocked. I DON'T like that in the clothing areas you can't push your cart through because everything is packed so tightly. As for pricing, Wal-mart seems to be less expensive for many of the things I buy at Target. Maybe I should just drive over there next time! I liked that they have a bigger selection of Essie nail polish, but of course with my luck they were out of stock of the color I wanted. But they have a bigger selection of this brand compared to kmart and walmart. I don't alwasy find that target is "cheap" specially when it comes to the clothing and electronic accessories, but it's a good place to come check out their sales. Sometimes I find some cute gifts in their $1 bins when you enter the store. I wasn't impressed with their availability .. a lot of items were out of stock and sizes where put back in the wrong spot, so you gotta do a little bit of hunting read more

I'm at Target at least twice a week. There customer service is impressive! The staff is very diverse and friendly. If I need help with something, I never have a problem finding someone to ask. The best part is that I've never waited more than 3 minutes to pay. They will always open up more registers if the see a long line forming! read more
