It is Sunday at 1:52 PM. The website said they would be open today, but I came by to find the store closed. Disappointing. Two other people came by while I was waiting to see if the owner was simply running late. Owner, you Lost business today. Please update your website so people are not inconvenient. Update: Gabe is the owner and I caught up with him yesterday. I absolutely love the furniture they carry and bought three large, unique pieces. They were able to deliver the very next day and I love my new furniture! Turns out Sunday Gabriel was on a buying trip and his assistant was unavailable to open the shop. Really sturdy beautiful furniture and home decor. I bought the most beautiful abundance bowls. Also a welcome sign. The owner gave me a gift that choked me up just a little bit. Super helpful and friendly. The only problem with this place is there's so much you're going to want that you'll have to keep going back! Wink! Oh aunt owner is totally awesome and honest. Gabriel who owns Coyote Traders is a nice and likable guy. However, our latest custom purchase from Mexico via Coyote Traders was very disappointing. We had 3 custom pieces made for our guest bathroom and we expected rustic not cheap and ill fitting. 2 pieces were to go side by side and were supposed to be the same height but they were not. We asked the header trim not be put on the LaFon but they added it anyway so it didn't fit properly in the space. The matching pieces were supposed to be the same color but they weren't - one piece was white and the other was tan. The vanity is the worst piece - drawers don't fit properly even though we paid extra for drawer slides. The front of the vanity top shows unevenly cut wood - esp on the edge - the right side was flush with the fascia but the left side was not. All of the furniture had that cheap brown hardboard on the backs and bottoms of drawers. Unlike what we had seen in their store and from a previous purchase from them. On the vanity, the hardboard shows on the top - rather than having the wood top cover the hardboard. The right corner of the hardboard is chipped on the vanity and it shows - not sure how I'm going to fix that. I talked to Coyote Traders about the issues told them they have lost a customer. They apologized and said I could return the furniture to them and they would try to fix the issues. We live 2 hrs. away and don't have a way to transport the items back to their shop. So we will keep it for now - I'll probably end up getting rid of the vanity - it looks like some cheap piece of yard sale furniture. We paid extra to have the furniture delivered to us. The delivery guy was impatient and clearly didn't want to make the delivery. read more
