Granted, the bedside manner of the employees here aren't what you're going to receive at your favorite restaurant. That being said, I was surprised and pleased with the service I received. I brought in a UPS (APC, model Back-UPS XS 1500), because it had started making an abnormal noise. I figured it meant it's battery life was almost over and soon there would be no more little electrons working to store energy. I was really surprised when "Anthony" started taking it apart right then and there (I figured I was going to have to leave it for them to work on later). He troubleshot the problem, confirming that yes, one battery inside the UPS box was almost completely shot, and the other one was failing too. He had the batteries I needed in stock, replaced them both, and then verified everything was working correctly. He only charged me for the price of the new batteries. At a cost of $36.99 per battery, the savings of replacing the two batteries versus buying a new replacement UPS amounted to approximately 80%! Total in store time was approximately 15 minutes - and problem fixed! This place also replaces smartphone batteries and can replace FOB keys. I'm going with 4 solid Stars. Thanks Anthony! read more

After weeks of trying to secure new rv batteries, Batteries Plus came through with two (2)! in stock! We snatched them. The price was reasonable and we are delivering these old bad boys back for our deposit! This business did provide conflicting information about installing them, but did suggest calling automotive places for installation. Turns out our automotive repair guy said it's pretty straight forward. Sure would be great to have had them installed when bought. Hence, no 5 stars. Personable & friendly! This is probably the worst Batteries Plus store. Have had numerous issues with s battery I bought last August. Owner is not there on weekends and employees cannot do anything on warranty unless he is there. Came from Arizona last year and never had issues there. Their claim is that the store is independently owned. I threw the battery in trash with 16 months left on warranty. Don't need the headache. read more

Had them fix my iPhone 7 Plus screen and told me I have three months to bring it in if it started pushing things on their own and it did start doing that and not only in it do that but it messed up my microphone so now I can't take calls take videos FaceTime nothing I can just text and go on social media I took it in and they told me that there was nothing they can do that there's YouTube videos I can watch to fix it so I paid 119$ for my phone to get even more fucked up. Overpriced items and clerks not friendly. Purchased batteries for my Car key. $8 for two Rayovac batteries, would not sell me just one. Then battery stopped working after a month. Went back to ask about it, clerk told me the corporate office learned Rayovac quality was poor and no longer sold them. Would not give me a refund, they did provide a discount for the replacement which is why I gave them one star. I also replaced a watch battery. They sold it to me for $9.00!! I could have replaced it at Walmart or Home Depot for $5. read more

I was travelling through Las Cruces while on vacation when I realized I had forgotten to pack my cord for my camera charger. Oh No!.... I was prepared to buy a whole new charger. But luckily they had a spare cord in the back and just gave it to me free of charge. That's crazy. I would have paid whatever they asked. But the gentleman insisted it was on the house. My iPhone 6 charging port had been giving me problems for quite a while. I didn't feel Like dealing with the Verizon warranty, so I kept putting it off. Finally my phone stopped charging. Timing couldn't have gotten any worse. Family in the hospital. I know this sounds cheesey, but true. I checked the batteries plus website and saw they could swap it out for $69. Went right down to the store. The tech grabbed My phone right away, cleaned out the port and handed it back to me. NO CHARGE. They could have easily taken my money and didn't. When you are the only shop in town you don't have to try to hard. I needed watch batteries and they installed them. The bill was a little over $110 but worth it. The batteries lasted about a year and a half, so I went back to have them replaced. This new batch only lasted about 6 months. So I went back to inquire about it and ask whether the batteries were any good. The treatment I got this second time round was horrible and no one should be subjected to that. When you are the only shop in town you can get away with that kind of poor treatment. I started going to Timex in El Paso. No problems there. read more

I went in tonight close to the closing hours of the store looking for help with a home theater projector. I asked a man named Josh i believe about my projector and its problems expecting that he would be clueless. However he blew my mind by knowing the exact type of bulb i needed as well as my possible problems with the bulb. They dont even work with projectors PEOPLE! I picked up a moped battery here the other day and the gentleman who initially rang me up was very helpful. I was told that if it was the wrong battery, I could return it. I tested the battery which ended up being too small and while I was returning it, less than an hour after I bought it, , Loren (who I came to find out is the manager) processed my return and was very skeptical about accepting the return in the first place and asked me where the hardware was that was included. I advised him that no hardware was provided, I just used the hardware from my previous battery, at which point he said "well that just cant be true". I told him that it was and I didnt appreciate being called a liar (why anyone would spend $100+ just to steal $2 worth of hardware is beyond me). Long story short, he was rude and I advised him that I'd never be doing business with them again and I suggest anyone who wants to be treated with dignity and respect do the same. read more
