Absolutely poor service. 12/18/2023 waiting in store 30 minutes with 4 customers behind me because Matt was the only person who could work work the register. The two other associates in store were just standing behind the register while Matt kept checking the back for a Nintendo for a customer. Something the two associates standing behind the register could have done. Finally one by one we all ended up leaving the store. I return today only to be told they no longer allow the use of the monthly $5 to be use toward gift cards. BUT THAT WAS THEIR ENTIRE SELLS PITCH IN JULY! It hasn't even been a year! ANDREW THE REGIONAL MANAGER WAS CALLED AND TOLD ME THE ONLY THING HE CAN DO IS GIVE ME CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER. I asked for an email because as i expected no one would answer this phone. Currently holding 25 mins as i write this! BUT HE being an ass and refuse to provide an email or the regional manager Jenifer contact or email. They bate you in with a benefit then take it away before you membership even renews!!! Horrible service! Refuse accountability! I would highly recommend, if you like your money to never ever purchase a refurbished system from any gamestop. Whoever their 3rd party is, (which btw, they have no idea) is messing up the refurbishing process. My system overheats regularly. It shuts itself down. It could technically happen all day long. I have to let the system cool off, only for it to heat right back up in 3 min. The internal fan screams, and it overheats. Good times. I suppose I will begin the furtherance of this process, however in the meantime, I'd any of yall read this, save you money or buy new. It should be noted that my issue isn't with any of the employees of this location. The do their jobs well and are a lot of help. My issue is with the corporate structure and who they decide to contract. Anything electronic takes massive attention to detail. Something I think is left out of the "bottomline". I know, I know. A five-star review for Gamestop. WTF? Hear me out. I have had bad experiences with many stores, including Gamestop, for years but the other day changed my perspective on this store for at least one person: Deon. You see, Deon is the main manager at Gamestop, I forget what the exact title is for that position, and he exhibited service on a level I have rarely seen in ANY industry. We had to return a PS5 console and were smart enough to get the GS warranty. Within one week they had a new console in and took the faulty console. Deon coordinated the receipt of the new console and notified us immediately when it was in the store. He stopped what he was doing when we entered the store to handle our problem and was very courteous. Say what you will about Gamestop. Yes they have a reputation but, as for me, Deon changed my perspective and this store has my business and my trust because they earned it. read more

Went in today to sell 2 of my old game systems and games. The store was extremely busy. When it was my time the associate, Christian was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He spent time with us and provided exceptional guest service. We were so grateful. We will definitely be back to the store just because of the level of service Christian provided us. read more

I like to shop Gamestop; however, I called this store to ask if they had a game & they said yes we do, when I went there to pick it up they said we're sold out! I drove for quite time to get there & they didn't even offer anything else! I could've arranged pickup at BestBuy but I wanted to get it from Gamestop, by the time I made it to the store it was too late to get it from BestBuy! They were closed. I was impressed with their service at Christmas. Very friendly, knowledgeable and quick checkout. Beware of their return policy! Nothing over 30 days even if you have a receipt and the game has not been opened. My son took back a Christmas gift with the original receipt. The game was $40 and they gave him $16 as it was now considered a "trade in". It's a newer game on the market that is currently selling in that store for $60. Perhaps if I was told upfront of the policy or it was on the receipt. We will never go to game stop again. read more

It's okay, but it's a GameStop. They are really trying hard to be relevant in a world where there are so many other options to get games. You've got Steam, Best Buy, and each console even has a store app you can shop with and just download a game. It's a crap shoot getting a sales person who is knowledgeable, but they don't care and I know they don't. When you are working at a place like this you just care about getting your paycheck and going home. read more

Came through at peak holiday hours and the line was basically all the way out the door. BUT even though the store was entirely overrun by the holiday rush, the employees at this location made sure to take care of everyone in a timely manner. I barely spent any time waiting in line and even when I was in line another employee was helping me pick out my item. GameStop's are usually terrible but this one was quite nice read more

A few days ago they call me letting me know that sonic frontiers will be having an early release on monday 11 pm, i asked again to make sure, yes they said , monday 11 pm. So i show up monday at 11 pm and its empty, they had the gate locked but the lights were Still on. I called maybe trying to get someones attention possibly in the back, i called multiple times. It was embarrassing and i was extremely upset and disappointed. My sister got there at 10:30 ish and waited for any signs of life till 11:10 when i finally got out and looked after that we just left. Absolutely ridiculous, why even call us who preordered for an early release if they weren't going to do it anyway. And even if they canceled it they never called to inform me .They waisted our time and our gas. I am still extremely Pissed and i would complained when i went this morning to get the game but i didn't want to be a jerk to a guy who clearly had no involvement in what happened. Decent selection of titles, but they're way over priced. On top of that, what they offer for trade in is insulting. To make matters worse they take up parking spaces right out front for out-dated merchandise on sale that nobody wanted in the first place. Anything in that bargain bin is 10x more likely to be picked up off Amazon yet you're wasting multiple prime parking spaces trying to unload garbage for twice its worth? read more

Stopped in today to sell my Xbox one, and 5 games. Told me it was worth around $120 store credit and around $65 cash. Told them " I was thinking about getting one of those Xbox Kinects. They seem pretty cool. My new Xbox one X said something about doing something with it." They said ok, and went back and brought out a USED one. I guess this should've been a red flag, but I didn't mind a used one since it was cheaper. Got the Kinect and $20 and change back..... yeah SMH. I knew I didn't want any games and haven't been to a GameStop In years because I don't sell or trade games often anymore, and download games online. So I didn't mind getting ripped off so much considering the system and games would just collect dust at my place. So I leave and google what else the Kinect does. I see it needs an adapter to work with my new Xbox one X because it's been discontinued. Not one comment from GameStop about it being discontinued or needing an adapter. Sold me a used Xbox Kinect that Xbox isn't selling anymore and didn't tell me about it needing an adapter. I feel like a just sold them a car with 2k miles and they gave me a kick in the balls in return. Thanks for the great customer service GameStop. read more

They were good till now. My fiancé have been going to this same game stop for over two years. The same employees have seen us and today they decided to say to my fiancé he can't get the preordered game because he's not on the account. Which this is the first they have ever mention this. I'm glad they are trying to secure my account but at the same time why they haven't told us a long time ago. He's gone in by himself and used my phone number but never once told him he needed his name on the account. They told him they have been asking for names for a long time. Which they haven't. I don't know if it's a change in management and now they are trying to cover up their slack on up holding their so called long policy or what. But these people know us as a couple and it's just poor customer service. They can at least say I'm sorry I know you e been coming here for a very longtime and we can go ahead and sell you the game since we've seen you here many times before but please ask the account holder to add your name to prevent further issues. Something for that effect. But to accept his money to pay the game in full in the first place should not have been done. They should have warned him before the full purchase. read more
