My husband and I really like this GameStop because it's close to the house and the staff is all really knowledgeable and friendly. The people that work there are very well-informed and usually able to answer all my questions. They are also on the pulse about upcoming game releases. The selection is your standard GameStop fare and the store is the size you'd be expect. Also the shopping plaza isn't too busy so this is easy to get in and out of. Parking is a breeze since it's further away from the grocery store. Even though I live close to a few GameStop's in the area, this is my preferred one. read more

Mitsy was super helpful! I was told the collectable item sold with the game was delayed a week ago.... So I have been waiting for a whole week to get those buttons when they came in. Update on the last review: talked to PlayStation and it looks like the blue ray reader in my PS4 is broken. PS4 was working great until I got madden 22 from this GameStop. So now I have a broken PlayStation (won't play ANY games) and it's going to cost me 100 bucks to get my PlayStation fixed. Thanks GameStop! You ruined my PlayStation! Stay away! I've always enjoyed coming to game stop. Well that's because I like video games. Game stop always has a good selection of games to choose from and the people working here are usually pretty nice and knowledgeable. In the past I've sold games to game stop and I've always felt that I've been ripped off but the convenience made it ok. Now days I don't sell the games or systems to anyone. Games nowadays have a high replay factor. I wish I kept my old systems. That being said I do like and almost exclusively by used games. It's a budget friendly way to enjoy what I like. read more

I was reading some of the other reviews and as a former customer service worker i can say that most of these complaints just sound like entitled customers who feel that these people are standing there getting paid to say hi and bye to you like they're your best friends or something. I was on this side of town and happened to stop in here for a wired Xbox controller so I can use it for pc. I was not greeted when I entered, just stared down. I asked one of the cashiers for assistance getting my controller due to it being locked up and he did not seem very thrilled. Once I got my controller I browsed around the store for a bit and made my way over to check out. I was then waiting in front of the cashier with Nobody in front of me for about 5 minutes. He was too busy texting to ring me up. After my purchase was made I didn't even get a farewell from any of the team members. EDIT: Boy things have changed at this Game Stop. The girl who used to seem so bothered by customers has left, and the employees at this location are wonderful. Don't want to say names, but "C" is a particularly helpful and friendly young lady, customer service has improved 10-fold here. I am changing my review from 2 stars to 4 stars - I would give 5 if they had what I was looking for more often, but like I said, "C" is very helpful in trying to accommodate and satisfy her customers. OLD: With very few exceptions, the employees at this particular location of GameStop tend towards rudeness. I've been coming to this store for many years, and I always get either an unenthusiastic greeting or none at all. When you ask for something you get the impression you're bothering them, and god forbid you should call to ask a question you get even less help and more attitude. Came here today with the husband to sell back some games in hopes of pre ordering the new COD Black Ops and I was seriously shocked. (This is totally nothing against the service or the employees working here because the only woman on staff for the day was seriously holding it down!) He brought four+ games to sell back all of which I know we had to have at least paid $50-$60 for when they came out. For all the games he was only given $17.00?!? Now this must be normal because he didn't act surprised. I almost fell over with shock. Talk about a complete scam!! To pay $60.00 for an Xbox One game and get mere pennies back for it in comparison seriously blows my mind. I know for a fact you could sell those games online for at least $20-$30 a pop. And I looked around and saw that they're pre owned games were selling for around $30-$35!! Talk about making a killing you get $60.00 from me when it comes out offer me $5.00 to sell it back and sell it to some poor fool for a $25.00 mark up?! I've definitely stopped by this store several times since it's the closest one to my house. Oddly enough, they usually carry what I need even though it's a smaller, slower location. Service has always been decent here. More often than not there's a strange odor in the store... Not quite sure what that's about. This store definitely gets a lot of families stopping by due to its family-friendly location, though, so be prepared for many, many kids at any given time. Worst experience I have ever had at a GameStop. Only came in to buy a PlayStation network gift card for $10, cashier almost denied my sale because I asked if I could pay a couple dollars in quarters. (Not the full amount) but I asked "would you totally hate me if I used some quarters?" Thinking of course she wouldn't mind money is money. She rudely responded "Uh kinda yeah" while tossing her hands on the table as if I ruined her day. I said "oh okay then" and then used the $20 I had. I didn't expect such an attitude over some quarters but it was extremely embarrassing and I won't be going back to this game stop. I'm not sure if the girl in the front was just having a bad day or not but I don't see how you can almost deny a customer over a couple dollars in quarters. It's not like I was paying in pennies. Checking out was a breeze, time flew by listening to the employee call every store in the Northern Hemisphere while making small talk with the 78 customers snaked around the cramped store. But it doesn't end there folks, your patience level will escalate to new heights when you are forced to listen to 5 minutes of worthless sales blabber, before you finally are presented with a six foot receipt. The line was out the door, because both female cashiers where busy conversating with the guys they were cashing out (took forever) when we finally reached the cashier she wasn't very nice, no smile and short with her answers. I was asked if I pre-ordered the new release, no, then asked if I had a membership, no, then a roll of the eyes happened and she finally reached under her register and pulled out the 65.00 game.
