Pretty big store full of stuff and trinkets. You could spend hours looking at everything in detail

I've been here a few times but it truly doesn't get much better than mediocre. Everything is organized while not being organized at all. I'd often find myself looking for a certain section of letters in a genre then suddenly be interrupted by a different genres beginning? Why?? If I can organize my shelf at home, you can organize yours here. The employees are kind but sometimes they seem to not quite know what's going on. They'll tell you they have something but the location is just as good of a guess as yours. Most things are well priced, but some of the preowned things definitely aren't worth what they're listed. The store is a lot bigger than I anticipated! There's a lot of pop culture memorabilia, trinkets, and books as far as the eye can see. We came to look for used DVDs and were pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount of movies offered. We had a really great time browsing the well organized rows. They are separated by genre and Blu-ray/standard. There are several long aisles, so make sure to set aside some time to look through everything. Most of the movies seem geared toward action/sci fi, but the comedy selection is pretty nice. The majority of standard copies are $4.99-$5.99, however, newer movies were priced at $12.99. That was a little steep for us, so we stuck with older used copies. Some of our selections had beat up cases for the same price as pristine, but some movies have multiple copies so you can choose one that isn't open if they have it. The horror movie section was full of classics and great choices, so this would be a nice spot to pick out some Halloween films ahead of spooky season. The cashier was friendly and we left really happy with our selections. We will definitely come back the next time we need a good DVD haul! read more

Zia records is a great shop to spend an hour looking around. Very clean and organized! Vinyl, DVDs, cds, tapes line the walls and shelves. There's other items like socks, board games, video games, anime and many other items. Great service and wide variety of genres. Not too from the strip. Next to the 99 cent store. In shopping plaza on the corner of East Warm springs road and South Eastern ave. In the back corner. We found some great finds! read more

I went to see a records. They said they were busy that I would have to leave my stuff there so they could check it out. I gave them a two pre and equalizer pedal a phaser pedal a road case a mono studio speaker. They gave me 38 bucks. When I went in on the shelf was only the speaker. So I don't know what they did with the other items. Something tells me that maybe the store people took them as donations or whatever they say when they don't want to buy your CDs. But just be mindful when you go there don't leave your stuff behind. It's something I did in the past and I had no problems but with this particular crew at the rainbow store I don't know what happened. I think the best way to deal with these types of things is to do a review on them so they learn their lesson I guess. Hopefully that will stop other people from being robbed read more

It's been 6 months since my family has relocated to Henderson, NV and on of the things that has made it wonderful, for me, is Zia Records. I've been in a LOT of record stores and, as time goes on, it seems harder to find records I want or don't already have. Not at Zia Records! They do an incredible job with their inventory. If anything, I find WAY too much at Zia. The staff are super friendly in a genuine way, not that snarky hipster way. Their policies are customer friendly and I feel good about spending my money and time there. read more

So I had taken my old guitar here just to get rid of it. When I came in they had 3 ppl working the trade in service and they said it would only be a couple minutes to see how much they'd give me for the guitar. i love this zia records, but ive never a had a bad experience at any of their locations. huge selection of CDs and albums, with both new and older records. Prices are varied depending on the artist and condition of the product if its used. I love the atmosphere of this store, and i love that it has nerdy video game stuff too!! plenty of physical video games and funko pops if thats what your into. They even have pokemon cards! My only thing is i wish they had more 3DS physical games, but i understand there isnt much they can do about it. I love zia records!! read more

I have been searching for older comics in a series I've come to love and I went to Zia Records on Eastern hoping to find what I was searching for. Unfortunately, they didn't have it, but that's okay. This store has a LOT of goodies including: Movie posters, VHS tapes, DVD's, CD's, Used Books, Comic Books, Children's Books, Funko Pops, Action Figures, Pins, Iron on patches, Wallets, Socks, Magnets, Keychains, Candy, Gardening seeds (flowers & cactus), Movie memorabilia, Psychic items, Astrological stuff, Used Camera Equipment, Used Musical Instruments, Vinyl Records, LGBTQ+, Novelty Items, Used Audio Visual Equipment, Magazines, Cassette Tapes, Sunglasses, Board Games, Video Games, Gaming Equipment, etc. I am going to add a lot of pictures so you can get an idea of the awesomeness that is this store. The only downside is that we drove across the city to get there and they didn't have a single public restroom... that was a bummer. We walked out of there with a cute Totoro figurine and some highly tasty Halloween candy. The customer service was excellent and friendly and no one followed us around assuming the worst. This place was surprisingly very nostalgic. I didn't ask many questions, as I was just going to get an idea of some Christmas gifts for my kids who very much, like their momma, love all types of music. Remembering my youth when record stores had listening stations and tons of posters and screen teas. I was definitely hoping for "a lot more of that." Not so much listening from what I saw, very limited posters, and not a wide variety of tees. This is why I rated a 4 star and not 5, in this case. But..... As for everything else, such a cool spot to bring my kids too. Love a local record store with lots of vintage products and music selection. There was a wide variety of product and entertainment. Throwback VHS, DVDs, and CDs. Not to mention Vinyl albums which is my music of choice right now. The employees were very friendly and there were multiple to greet me and ask for information. A ton of thrift items where you can buy or I'm assuming donate. The place had so many options. Other than music and movies, there's also a section for comics, toys, anime, video games, and astrology. Tons of nostalgia toys, and memorabilia. There's a little something from every decade for every one. The only thing, it's a bit pricy. But I understand locally sourced and driven, it needs to thrive and survive. I have no problem supporting this business. Customer service was awful to start with. I wanted to trade in 300 cds. They bought around 200 of them. I get my cash and start heading home. I get a nasty call from the manger stating I must come back in a few days to get the left over cds. Why did they not give them to me when I was leaving? I was told that I do not get the cds in a few days I would be banned from the store. I guess I am banned now for life. read more

I love the place, I really do. I appreciate what this store is about. But it needs some work, it's cluttered and not well organized. There is a store in Seattle called "Half Priced Books", similar concept as Zia but different. But they are well organized and there is a flow to it. Came in around 510 pm to see if I can get a price for my item then whoever the sales rep was said it'll be 20-30 min as I didn't have time asked him how long they're open and said 10 pm but didn't tell me the trade ends at 9 am is when I came back same night around 910 pm and the guy who with long hair looks like he's on drugs said to me he was the manager and said you know we're open till 9 am for the trade. He was very immature about it and unprofessional. I never experienced odd service from people like that before when I would come there often. Very disappointing. read more

Love this place. I'm surprised it doesn't have better ratings. Personally haven't had a bad experience, although I won't deny I have encountered a faulty record or two, but it's always been the cheaper costing ones.. ya know 3$ or 4$ or so.. so it wasn't such a biggie. Zia is definitely one of my go to places when shopping for records and cute finds. They always have some funky music playing in the background so if I don't leave with a record or some groovy trinket .. I'll have a new song in my playlist. Win win! read more

Employees are nice and there is a wide variety of different things. The pricing is extremely laughable though. I'd imagine they price their items similar to what they're selling for online... but the condition of the items they sell tend to be worse and more expensive?? To make matters worse, they leave previous prices on items... it could've been previously bought for 99¢ and they will have it for $9.99 haha At least cover the previous price! I also saw the same exact item multiple times all for different prices and varying conditions and the prices didn't match up to say the least lol the cheapest priced was the best condition item!!!! If they did better in this area, I would be a huge frequent customer. But since it seems it's only gotten worse, I don't plan on stopping by much at all anymore read more

Whenever I come up in Vegas, I like to splurge and do a little shopping. This is a great place to buy New and Used DVD's and CDs. They also have video games available. The customer service is excellent and pretty much a laid back store. Glad this place is open for movie and music lovers to find the classics. With Netflix and all other streaming services out there, its nice to see a store that focuses on the experience of holding on to something, printed in any format. Thanks Zia Records. My go-to for movies, books, collectibles, clothing and everything else! So much to look at! They are always updating their inventory and adding new sections of merchandise. I love all the pre-owned DVD's and books. Thats usually why I come here, but I always buy other things that I thought I didnt need. Tonight, I bought a few DVD's and a book for .50 cents! I love to read and watch movies, so if thats who you are too, then you should take a look at this establishment. They also have an extensive vinyl collection along with hard to find CD's. I also noticed their newly expanded area of cool vintage clothes(some new some gently used), shoes, purses and t-shirts. Upon checkout, you can accept a bag or not, grab a token and they will extend a profit of your purchase to help a charity. I always chose the animal charity. Happy shopping! A few months ago, I added my brother to my account. He was there in person and showed his ID. I was told that my brother could drop off items to sell or pick up the unsold items. We have the same last name and the same address. I was assured he would have no problems. They lied! Today, we (my brother and I) experienced HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I stayed in the car because I was not feeling good, and my brother went in with a bag of dvds and cds. They refused to allow him to drop off the items, they wouldn't check the account to see he is on my account, they were very rude, my brother admittedly used foul language and one employee said the same foul language back to him twice and he was asked to leave and they picked up the bag and basically escorted him outside! I went in the store and we spoke with the manager who was professional and my brother apologized to the manager after the fact about his usage of foul language. One of the rude employees claimed he was the manager when my brother has asked to speak to the manager but he was not, therefore he lied. We dealt with the manager and he was professional, diffused the situation, apologized and I told him I have been a customer for about 10 years and this is the way we get treated??? I have worked in customer service and had a customer be rude to me and call me names but I never lost my cool because "the customer is always right" even when they are wrong. I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to zia and shop, especially not the location on Eastern and Warm Springs. It's better to buy from Amazon or some other online or brick and mortar. The employee who lied that he was the manager should be reprimanded and the employee who told my brother twice to f off should be fired! read more

One of my favorite places. Cool stuff and fair prices. They buy sell and trade CDs, dvd's, vinyl, video games, etc.. They either have what you want or will order it. You can go and buy that obscure movie you can't find on Netflix or just enjoy the thrill of the hunt in their 2x dvds for $3.00 dollar bin. Customer service is great. Hours are great.
