The name is so adorable. It is nice seeing actual records. The store has cds too. It is worth taking a look. There is a row of stores inside the Westgate hotel. The resort is on one of the monorail stops if you don't want to pay for parking.

I collect vinyl, CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes, so this place is basically a treasure hunt every time I visit. One of my favorite things about Zia is their selection of older media. I'm especially into 90s and 2000s nostalgia, and I've found so many fun treasures from those eras here. They have a huge selection, so I can easily spend forever looking through everything. I also love that every visit feels different because you never know what you're going to find. I've discovered things I wasn't even looking for and ended up leaving with some of my favorite additions to my collection. If you love physical media, collecting, or just miss the experience of browsing through CDs and movies like we did in the 2000s, Zia Records is absolutely worth checking out. Such a fun nostalgic spot and one I'll continue going back to!

Some areas of the store are quite cluttered, but I'm sure it's hard to keep so many different products organized, especially when they carry so much pre owned as well. They have deals upwards of 99c for older records, that are honestly really cool to look through and find new to you older tunes.

I recently had an issue with a DVD I purchased at the Rainbow location. Although the purchase was outside the standard seven-day exchange window, the gentleman who initially assisted me went above and beyond. He located my purchase, checked inventory, consulted with management, and confirmed that an even exchange could be approved. Unfortunately, when I returned later that day, I had a disappointing interaction with another employee who declined the exchange without attempting to verify the previous approval or explore any alternatives. I returned the following morning and spoke with Ray, who was absolutely wonderful. She listened to my concerns, quickly located the documented approval, apologized for the experience, and completed the exchange without any issues. I truly appreciate employees who take the initiative to find solutions rather than simply stopping at what a policy says cannot be done. Ray and the gentleman who initially assisted me demonstrated exactly that. Thank you both for turning a frustrating situation into a positive resolution!

There was a DJ shopping around and giving his recommendations to other patrons. It was just such a cool vibe. There's little gifts and collectibles too, and different formats for music available. If you can't seem to find what you are looking for, they have the full inventory online... But where's the fun in that? It takes away at treasure hunting. There were also some new and used Blu-rays, they sold 4k, DVDs. The store was a good size so, make sure you plan for some time away. After spending a good 2 hours going through some of the vinyls (there's two levels and we barely made a dent), we walked away with several vinyls (2 used and 3 new) and some used blurays. You could spend about $5.99 on average for used vinyls and $30-$40 for brand new. Total cost: $140 after taxes. I'm definitely coming back for sure!

If you're a heavy metal fan, you've heard of Metal Blade Records. It was one of the first labels…read morethat truly catered to this genre of music, featuring many of the best in the industry. When I heard Metal Blade founder/CEO Brian Slagel had moved to Vegas and opened a booth in the Antique Mall of America, I knew it was a place I wanted to check out. I've been a handful of times in recent years. The Antique Mall of America is HUGE, so just finding this place is a bit of a chore; it doesn't help that the outdoor strip mall where the facility is located is largely abandoned. Once you get inside there are a ton of vendors and twists and turns, but believe me, if you're a metal fan like I am, it's worth looking for. The Metal Blade store is technically THREE different kiosks in the mall. The two main ones are adjacent from one another, with one being mostly shirts/clothing, and the other being mainly CDs and vinyl releases. A third booth (located in a different part of the mall) mostly consists of hockey jerseys/related clothing/etc. While I'm admittedly not a sports fan, it was cool to see that the latter kiosk wasn't just limited to Golden Knights stuff. A divers selection is always a good thing. Those two main booths I mentioned before are where I spent most of my time. The shirts and such are offered for fair prices which is a nice change from the overpriced swag sold at concerts. And the vinyl and CD selection is nice too, including many vinyl LPs newly reissued by Metal Blade, not to mention a nice grab bag of assorted CDs. I walked away with two T-shirts and a 2CD Deep Purple set that was fairly cheap. The only issues I really have with this shop stem from the space, or rather, a lack thereof. Having booths in an antique mall isn't the same as having a standalone store, hence the lack of space and merch. I'm hoping Mr. Slagel can give us an independent store one way, possibly as part of the Metal Blade Museum that should be opening here in Vegas soon. Metal fans shouldn't hesitate to check Slagel's wares here out. It's a little tricky to find and on the small side, but worth it.
