They walked us through the various troubleshooting options, even powered up another XBOX to test the game. That ended up being our new XBOX and enjoying our games again. Came in here about a week ago to grab a gift for my brother and sister in law. It was definitely crazy in there. It's the standard size of ant Game Stop but for some reason smelled a little funky that day haha. I can't recall the guys name that helped us but he was helping a couple in front of us for a while. We were just waiting to ask a question and see if the game we were looking for was there. Once he was done helping the couple in front of us, he apologized a million times and helped us, which was so nice and not totally necessary! We were fine just waiting for him to wrap up with them. He helped us find the game very easily and mentioned there was only the display game left, which wasn't a big deal to us. The only weird thing was that he did try to sell us on the insurance for the game but the game was honestly only $30 to begin with and the insurance was $15. It was kinda silly. We joked that it was for my husbands siblings and if they break it or anything, that's not our problem. I didn't even know they offered insurance in video games. Learn something new every day. Definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a video games. The staff is super kind, helpful and patient. It's also pretty close to our house so I'm sure we will be back as my husband does love his video games, too. read more

This is actually a Gamestop. I drove all the way across town to pickup a game here. To keep it brief, Gamestop.com botched a preorder of Person 5 TYH Edition and I couldn't find it anywhere online. I called around town to see if a local store could help me. Christina and Raquel stood above the rest and managed to pull a local copy from another store that someone had abandoned. They called me back (I was so surprised) with genuine concern and empathy, apologized for the mistake but offered to physically drive to another store and bring it to their store for me to have. Keep in mind this is not my home store, nor have I ever met any of them. TL:DR - they went out of their way to help me get me a special edition of a game that was pretty much sold out everywhere, in order to right the wrong made by the online store. So I came to this GameStop because another GameStop told me this store has the game I'm looking for which is a New Nintendo switch game RPG Maker for the price of $40. I made the drive all the way over here and they pulled out a cart without the box game. I asked them so how much is it since it's used. They told me it's gonna be priced as new because it's a game they opened up to display the box and claim the game has never been played with and for that reason they want to sell me a open game that ONLY INCLUDES A LOOSE CART and NO BOX for it AS NEW GAME. I got to the location at the very end of the day, and no employee gave me grief about showing up before close. Already a good start to the visit! The selection of Nintendo switch games they had was not the biggest, however it makes sense that with more people staying at home, more people are purchasing pre-owned games. The employees were in a good mood, following social distance rules, and gave me good information about the game I was looking at since it had been a few years since I've played at all. Preordered Rime for Switch 5 months ago went in to get the game (they never called like they said they would) once there they gave me an opened game said it was the only one they had left. I did not order an opened game and wait 5 months to be told they can't do anything about it! Called their call center waited 45 minutes to be told no surrounding stores have a new copy! Horrible business practices! They told me it's ok the game is new it was opened by accident. How do you open it by accident? And if I took an open game to them for trade they would offer a used price regardless if I said it was opened by accident. Never ordering or purchasing from GameStop again. read more
