The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The owner has been in the area for decades and knows what he's talking about when it comes to games, and the weekend guy really know how to make a customer feel welcome and wanted. Of the two retro stores in Greeley, I'd definitely choose Game Factor over BNR.

Walking in, you hear familiar game music that plays in the background as you see gamers thrashing on arcade cabinets and talking about the latest console games. It's not just a store, it's a place for the gamer community to meet up, which is great. Game stores should have culture. They had more rarities in this store than the other store, which is saying something because both have great stock and impressive rarity. Collector's prices, but you should expect that at a game store this knowledgeable about games. They had three staff members when I was there and all were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. If you're at all interested in games, it's definitely worth checking out.

Nor do they do real cash back refunds on anything even if you buy a used system and its actually defective because they don't actually test or clean the systems they get in, they just half ass blow it out... they are scam artists in disguise fucking us over.... Like how can you tell me these people price a used xbox 360 controller for 35 bucks just a controller but then when someone brings in a whole used xbox 360 console with name brand controller and 500 gig HD to trade in they offer 33 dollars in store credit.. that people should say something what this bullshit company does not to mention they don't even actually try to refurbish anything or even at least replace thermal paste. They can literally hire some people that can do that separately from the actual business locations or even the back of their stores to ensure each used console will actually run properly or at least have a better return policy aka real cash back. This shop means a lot to me and has created great memories for me growing up and even today as an adult. Bringing my kids here is kinda surreal because it feels like I've gone full circle haha anyways. The owners are awesome people and have always treated me with great respect and helped me with anything I was looking for and they rarely don't have MTG singles I'm looking for, ide say they generally have what I'm looking for 85% of the time. And if they don't have it they are always willing to order cards in for me! Their prices are very fair and I love coming here for events I always feel welcomed and never excluded from anything. I also love that they always make sure the kids are included and treat my daughters kindly even sometimes giving gifts like little penny cost Pokemon cards which might not seem like a lot but it's so big to them and that's those kind of things that leave good memories in little children's heads. Thank you Heroes and Horrors for bringing such fun into my life and may it continue to bring joy to my children :)

Scam! My Father and Mother were scammed they took multiple boxes of DVDs to sell and they offered…read morethem $14 dollars for two full boxes of DVDs. That is over 50 DVDs in total. My parents didn't know what to do other than to take the money because they are in dire need of help. They called me in tears telling me what happened. I would never recommend this store to anyone. When I called the store originally they sounded very promising and that is why I originally sent them over there. They are a bunch of talk and the worst people you can imagine. The store needs to shut down they don't help people they make it worse.

I go here regularly when I need to get some work done, grab a coffee and a snack. However.... The coffee/food counter staff are a little rude. I was corrected in a condescending way when I was confused about what coffee drink I ordered. Also, they have nothing healthy to eat. Everything has fat and carbs. No veggies on the menu. I ordered what I thought would be somewhat healthy -- a veggie burrito -- but all it contained was white potatoes. See photo. The description said it had sweet potatoes (more healthy) and vegetables.
