A nice establishment ready to cater to people who indulge in table-top games, and provide ample number in comics to boot. Manga are also included in that selection, however it is limited -- you'll likely find something you weren't expecting, but not what your looking for. I was pleasantly surprised to find BONE HEAD Vol. 1+2 in the comic section, a very niche image comic, to give an idea for what odds and ends you have the potential to find here. Though I don't partake in table-tops outside of extremely niche ones (Scott Pilgrims Precious Card Game) they offered and allowed demoing of plenty TTG's. Mark of approval by The [BLINDE¥E]_

I was extremely excited to visit the nerd store I've heard a lot of great things but sadly, as I went there everything was overpriced or triple the market value I would personally not recommend buying or selling cards here but I would say the service was five out of five! just want example of this I was trying to sell a Charizard staff card which on their website was priced as $1500 so I visited there and they offered me a lowly $370. I was mildly upset because they were going to sell it for nearly 4 times as much. I would recommend eBay or marketplace to sell cards and or buy them.

I also must commend the fact that they bag and board your comic books for you to help you on collecting those too!

Felt like writing a well deserved good review today because frankly I have been going to this card…read moreshop since I was 16 and I am currently 28 years old and it's long overdue! This shop means a lot to me and has created great memories for me growing up and even today as an adult. Bringing my kids here is kinda surreal because it feels like I've gone full circle haha anyways. The owners are awesome people and have always treated me with great respect and helped me with anything I was looking for and they rarely don't have MTG singles I'm looking for, ide say they generally have what I'm looking for 85% of the time. And if they don't have it they are always willing to order cards in for me! Their prices are very fair and I love coming here for events I always feel welcomed and never excluded from anything. I also love that they always make sure the kids are included and treat my daughters kindly even sometimes giving gifts like little penny cost Pokemon cards which might not seem like a lot but it's so big to them and that's those kind of things that leave good memories in little children's heads. Thank you Heroes and Horrors for bringing such fun into my life and may it continue to bring joy to my children :)

Some things to help you out inside the store:…read more Storefront: A sizable kids section in far right corner from the entrance. Books, games, puzzles, toys. Lego table close by, containing loose Legos for purchase by the ounce. A digital catalog is available to employees, but due to the "thrift store" nature of the store - lots of items coming and going quickly - it is not always reliable, but it is often a helpful tool. Most items have a "used item" sticker - large and white with an orange strip on top. Some items have tiny white stickers instead - these are "new items" and they are more expensive. If you can't find a sticker, it has probably fallen off and staff can price-check it at the registers. Most new releases do not come in the day of release. If they get them in at all, it will be afterward unless someone is really quick with read/trade-in, which happens. But usually not the place to look for a book that came out yesterday. My favorite things to buy here are used hardcover books, Funko Pops, and used video games. Great deals on games for older consoles, most Xbox 360/PS3 titles are $5-10. Bathrooms: In the far left corner from the entrance, hug the left-hand wall until you get there. Two gender-neutral, single-toilet rooms. Both rooms have baby changing tables. Returns: If you had your receipt and you're getting your return put back on your card, it'll take 2-3 days for it to be spendable in your bank account. Buyback: A drivers license/govt ID with address is needed to sell to the store. You must be over 18 or with a parent/guardian with an ID to sell your items. The store follows federal pawn shop laws. The license is used to create a profile for you which keeps track of your store credit. Store credit never expires and is usable nationwide. Payout options include cash, store credit, or you can decline the offer and get your items back. Store credit offer is usually around double the cash offer. Buyback is percentage-based from what the store will price the item at. Item pricing is mostly done by a computer program - extra research is done on items like Funko Pops, comic books, certain books, etc. using the internet. The best payout percentages right now seem to be on vinyl records (vinyl need to have inner sleeve or they will be returned) and Pokémon cards. (Loose Pokémon and Magic the Gathering cards are bought in bulk, but they are not always purchasing cards, so call ahead) An example estimate from buyback: Five hardcovers and six paperbacks will get you around $7 cash, $15 store credit. Items that are generally not accepted: Spiral-bound books, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, dictionaries/excessively large books, Harlequin/Silhouette romances, textbooks, magazines, PC games. Outdated health/diet/cookbooks (10 years). Outdated yearly sport video games (5 years). Most often, these items will be returned to you. Most of these rules are because these items don't sell/take up too much space in the store. If you have any personal information stamped/stickered/written inside your DVD cases and book covers, they will not be removed by staff before the item is made available for purchase to the public, so if that matters to you, take care of it beforehand. Checking Out: You will be asked about the magazine program. A free trial for two months of some big-name magazines. But with any free trial, you have to remember to cancel it before you're charged. I cancelled my trial online the day I signed up. Got my free two months, no problem. If you're not a magazine person, "no thank you". The Buyback desk has closed early before for various reasons, (though not often) so if you're traveling from far away to do a buyback order, it might be a good idea to call the store just to make sure. There is usually a 10% off coupon available through the text-to-mobile program, although I think you can only get it once. Text FTCOLLINS to 52219 and reply "yes" to the message to get sent a link. Tapping on the link will pull up a barcode to be scanned at the register. Cell service is iffy on this side of the shopping plaza, so maybe grab a screenshot of the barcode before you go.

Scam! My Father and Mother were scammed they took multiple boxes of DVDs to sell and they offered…read morethem $14 dollars for two full boxes of DVDs. That is over 50 DVDs in total. My parents didn't know what to do other than to take the money because they are in dire need of help. They called me in tears telling me what happened. I would never recommend this store to anyone. When I called the store originally they sounded very promising and that is why I originally sent them over there. They are a bunch of talk and the worst people you can imagine. The store needs to shut down they don't help people they make it worse.

There hasn't been a Comic or Games shop in this corner of town for about 20 years. Maybe longer. I…read morewas very excited to see a big new sign for "Comics & Games". My kids were also excited. Met James and Jamie and got to talk with them about their journey to opening this store. It's more than a business... it's them taking a leap and sharing a passion that their family has with others looking for a place to call "their local shop / hangout". Something I loved was that there wasn't just a big pile of unorganized back issues. Instead, there were complete series of back issues bundled together at reasonable prices so you didn't have to hunt and peck to find them all. Also, there are weekly/monthly episodes available for people of all ages and interests. A good collection of trades as well. Also, they make it very easy to order anything you might not see on the shelves. They've also dedicated a nice chunk of the back of the store to a game area where people can come and hang out and have a place to play and meet. Not my thing, but still really cool for people that need that type of local community spot. Above all, I love that I can take my teenager, and my very small children into this shop and not see near-pornographic fantasy art on the walls. It's a safe place for people of all ages and for parents like me that don't want to expose my small children to adult themes until they're old enough to understand what they're seeing. It's really rare to find a place like this. Owners that take the time to talk to every visitor. People not trying to be an "empire" but to still have a personal touch. It's really a cool little shop and I suggest people give it a shot. At first it may not seem like there's a ton in the store, but just talk to one of the owners and you'll find out that there's more than you can handle nicely organized right in front of you. Give this place a shot. Take a risk and try giving them your business. You won't be disappointed. Obviously I wasn't, becasue I HATE writing online reviews but just HAD to for this place. Keep it up J&J! Happy to have you in the neighborhood!

When presented with information they are charging 70%-100% more than other retailers, she (what seemed like) BS'd about why that is the case.
