He pooled all the money he made for his birthday back in March and we were unable to get him a device when they were first released. When they came out, he bought the game Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Switch knowing he would eventually get a unit. Then Nintendo starts jacking around with people. They start to release more Switches...but only in larger, more expensive "bundles" that contained only one game: Zelda. If my son bought one of those packs, he wouldn't be able to return the game from before and end up losing money. (The game was bought somewhere other than GameStop, and I don't want to slam another business in a glowing Gamestop review.) I came into this store and was chatting with the workers when they mentioned they had bundles available. I started to explain about our Zeldification and how it was Zeldaing our Switch hunt when the guy behind the counter said that he thought he could find me a pack that didn't have Zelda in it. And he did. But that's not the half of it...the game that was in the bundle? Mario Kart 8. My other son, whose birthday was Tuesday, wanted that game. The price was actually less than previous bundles at other stores. It took some hoop jumping but the staff was able to secure the Mario Kart 8 bundle AND arrange to have it delivered before my boys came to visit for Memorial Day. So credit where it's due...they have some darn good employees who really a give a darn at this location.

Well worth it, I paid $15 to get 3 games back in working condition. I've also traded some games into them. They pay out well for high-value games, which I quite like. All in all, a great store, very helpful to a new collector.

Instead of wandering aimlessly from aisle to aisle looking for a good book, customers find themselves turning in circles as the aisles and section are laid out in an impossible to navigate configuration. If you are lucky enough to find what you are looking for, the prices are outrageous. Where the cafe was once a haven for students and remote workers, now only stale pastries and lukewarm coffee stand. The only thing this B&N has going for it is the service. Employees are always kind and helpful, even if the answer is always, "It's not in stock, but we can order it."

I knew no one would be home so I requested for them to be delivered a few days later (Thursday) when someone would be home. Delivery day came and went and no delivery. I called his business phone several times and left messages (Friday). The business is not open on weekends (fine, no biggie). I called the following Monday and was given an explanation that his phone line was down and was not able to confirm his order with his the business he gets his products from but that he would deliver the cartridges tomorrow (Tuesday). I told him that no one would be home but requested delivery on Wednesday. He said he would do it no problem. WELL... on Wednesday I called to ask when during the day he would be able to deliver. He said he was waiting on UPS to bring his order. MIND YOU- I went in the Monday prior with the initial offer of getting the cartridges the next day AND this Monday with the same offer of the next day.WHY then on the date of delivery would he still be waiting on the products to arrive. Even with phone lines being down (IF that is true, I'm giving the benefit) why would he offer to deliver the next day if he didn't even have the product??? He had ample time to order and keep at his store in his inventory until delivery day. - So he states he would call me as soon as he received the cartridges from UPS and would be out to to delivery them to my home, he also offered to provide me with $15 OFF coupon on my next purchase. HE NEVER CALLED! By end of business hours I never received not even a courtesy call to say that it would be again delayed. Silence. I proceeded to call Thursday ( a full business week later at this point) as soon as the business opened. No one answered and I left a message and requested a call back. 3 hours later, I called again and no one answered and this time the mailbox was full. At this time I fully intended to go back to the store (hoping to make it before it closed as I work practically the same ours that this business is open). I received a Facebook instant message from my neighbor stating that she received my delivery for the cartridges. She stated that he told her he didn't want to leave my cartridges at my home because no one was home and asked if he could leave it with her. WOW!! No call, no nothing. Just went and delivered without notice. I specifically wanted them delivered when someone was home and I gave him days when someone would be and then he has the audacity to purposefully not notify me and then deliver when no one was home. I spent almost $300 on these cartridges and this is the result. POOR customer service, late delivery, and a measly $15 dollar discount on my next purchase...HA! I will NEVER EVER purchase cartridges from this business. I know things happen but a bit of communication could have gone a LONG way but instead he CHOSE to conduct himself in this manner. Not professional at all. I realize that one customer is nothing in the scheme of things but I will not go to the store and I will be sure to tell everyone not to do so either.
