I decided to stop this GameStop after watching a movie at the Cinemark nearby, since I was here anyway. It's been quite a few years since I've been to this location, but I have to say it looks a lot better than it used to. They have these really awesome displays that I couldn't stop looking at . I also really like how the employee inside was really helpful and friendly, while still being really relaxed and low-key. High energy store employees always drain me . The store is set up so that you don't feel too cramped, and all the products are easy to look at. There was so much so look at in this store, I spent like 15-20 min just walking around and looking at everything . Well anyway, definitely recommend this location! read more

Well I was busy the day of release.so when I went in today the last day to pick up, which they didn't say you had to be there they sold it. I made an order online and went into store to pick up. The store told me my order was canceled and I was told I would receive a refund. The store told me I would need to repurchase my items. I made the repurchase. I have still not received a refund for the order that was canceled by an employee in store. It has been months and no refund. My online order still shows active. I have not received a refund for the order that the store said was canceled in store. It doesn't make sense because if my order was canceled why doesn't it show on my account and customer service says my order is still active. I was scammed. I paid 2 times for the same order. Ive come twice to this gamestop no matter how many times you call they never answer the phone and they werent even busy. Twice i got the worst customer service! The people that work here dont it like when you ask them questions. First time i came i made line and waited my turn and even waited 20 minutes in line to just ask if they had a specific item and the girl gave me attitude, I then showed her my phone and i said to her that I saw they had 7 items in stock when she sighed annoyingly and went to check in the back then after 15 minutes she came back and just helped the next customer in line and completely ignored me. Bro gamestop is so booty. I went to this location cos I had two year warranty on a brand new ps5 remote I had bought. When I went to get it replaced they replaced it with a used reconstructed remote. I get home and the thing loses charge in 2 minutes, it has to be connected to work without dying, and the touch pad does not work. I didn't get warranty as I thought id be getting a new remote but yeah. Horrible. Now I have to go drop 79.00 on a new remote. Never buy anything from Gamestop man. This gamestop falls in line with the majority of gamestop stores having a selection of new and used games, organized quite store, good air conditioning, product samples and decent week and weekend hours. I came here to this gamestop which is in the downey Landing plaza off of Lakewood & Stewart/Gray near Jamba, Best Buy, Staples and all of that. The parking was great and this area is convenient for shopping so I walked in. The workers were helping people at the front as I began to peruse a nice assortment of used WII games. They had DS, PS3 and Xbox games but I do not have those machines. I saw a few games I liked for $8 and $14 so I may be back before the 25th. In this economy you need a placed with used entertainment at reduced prices. They had games you can try out on protected WII and PS3 stations but I left to take care of errands and job searches. I went in about 4:30 on a Monday and the Lady and Gentlemen working were very nice. The lady greeted me, and was my saving grace! She told me they didn't sell/have any Xbox 360 equipment expect for the two items I needed for my controller. Horrible customer service. I ordered a PS5 black controller online for Black Friday. After 2 days, I never received a online confirmation that they had my order even though they had them in stock. I called and a male employee told me the system was not working like it should but he LITERALLY says he's see's my order on their desk and it's ready for pick up. So I go the next day after work, and when I arrive, there's a big mess of merchandise all over their desk. I told the employee, a overweight female, that I'm here for my online pick up. She can't find it, but finds the online confirmation paper which shows they did have it. She accidentally gave away my order away and they no longer have anymore in stock. All other stores did not have them in stock either. I drove from La Habra to this store because they were the only ones that had it stock. She didn't apologize, she merely shrugged her shoulders, and didn't care. I contacted customer service and they gave me a "too bad" attitude too. This is completely crap. I needed up waiting a few more days and make another long drive because of GAMESTOP'S mistake. Just a horrible experience with this store and it's employees. read more

First of all, we walked in and right off the bat the vibe was not it. They barely greeted us and Kenya was SO unprofessional. She starting hitting on my boyfriend right in front of me and looking me up and down instead of doing her job!! Like girl this is not the time for stuff like that tf? Ok So i walked into this gamestop today looking for a wii nunchuk and i walked in mind you didn't get a greeting or anything. This was around like 10:50 to 11:00 am so I'm looking around looking lost because I'm looking for the wii nunchuks and this man at the cash register asked a lady if she needed help with anything even though I'm just standing there looking lost and the lady said no thank you. I waited a bit to see if he would ask me but didn't even bother asking me. Mind I'm a 5' 6 black girl and this guy was hispanic he seemed to be greeting and TRYING to help all the hispanic people. But didn't bother with me until i finally asked for where they were and he said oh all we have is pre owned left but we I have to unlock it so i said ok and stood in line. So i get to the check stand and i ask for the pre owned nunchuk and he GOES OVER THERE AND SAYS THAT WE ARE OUT WTH. WHY WOULD HE MAKE ME WAIT IN LINE WITHOUT CHECKING FIRST OR TRYING TO AT LEAST SOMEWHAT HELP ME. AND MAKE ME WAIT IN LINE ONLY TO NOT HAVE ANYMORE.
