Since I am a die-hard gamer, GameStop is one of my favorite stores. I can walk into any GameStop and get lost for over an hour and walk out having spent well over $150. It just kind of happens, like I am lost in a weird vortex of sorts, I fall into a haze and start drooling... This particular location is good. The staff is quite knowledgable (male AND female), friendly and very helpful. The stock is up to date, and they always seem to have exactly what I came for, which is awesome. I go here a lot. read more

I tried to trade in my ps5 so I can have more money for a pro and they basically offered me the equivalent of dog shit for trading it in.

It's a great GameStop. I went here for years some days may not have what I'm looking for but still it's good to buy new games and systems.

2day i trade in my x box seris x console ... i ask him if he the manager.. he say yes? he clean my x box & controller.. he also clean it.. he also test it out before trade in? ask for my ID & phone number... was there about 20 mins maybe.. so i look around.. 2day get 10% trade in so even more .. i am a pro member.. i get back $5 to buy what ever item .. he finally trade in ... i got my trade in .. so i leave... i hardly play my x box anymore.. read more

Service sucks. Store looks like a dumpster. With a whole bunch of boxes and inventory all over the place would never recommend they need to shut this place down also they never answer the phone. read more

I really dislike alot of gamestop stores but this one is an exception. They answer their phones and provide great customer service. Staff is super friendly as well. Thank You!! read more

GameStop - Doom collectors edtion statue which is sold out everywhere! - Videos & Video Game Rental Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Me and my friend went to go buy him a mouse and the employees were amazing and knew what games were what like they have an encyclopedia in their head, they also would interact with the customers in humorous ways and would help a customer even if he wasnt first on line:)) amazing and close place to buy ur games. read more

I LIKE this GameStop.. I agree with Gloria D that the staff is very knowledgeable. You can ask them any question on any particular game and they can answer you in a quick second. Also, the prices are remarkable. Maybe the only downside is that there is always long lines, like never-ending long lol. The store is rather small so only 2 cash registers are available.. but yet people still have the patience to wait for their turn. Why? Because the prices are hard to beat of course!! My boyfriend recently purchased "Sleeping Dog" for 40 bucks whereas Best Buy has it for $50. WOW, what a diff!! With this economy, we gotta find the best deal out there. So yeah, the deals are GREAT here. Want a new game? Come to this GameStop for it!! read more

GameStop - He bought Sleeping Dogs!! (Hard game but fun) - Videos & Video Game Rental Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Absolutely disgusting manager. Unprofessional, rude and abnoxious. I came with friend to pre-order and he said max is 5 per person. Well we have 3 ppl and he said it's 5 for the group. That makes no sense. My friend is buying for herself and I'm buying for myself. If she did not come with me then she would have been a separate customer. There's no reasoning with this guy and he basically closed the register and said 'now you're not getting any'. What kind of business are you running?? Yes, it's a hot product and you know you're gonna be able to sell. Mind you, I was not giving any attitude during my visit. But you're gonna give attitude to a customer? Don't like your job? Then leave and find a new profession read more

They don't answer the phones, I've called multiple times throughout this week and it seems as if they don't care about business VIA phone. I understand being busy at the store as I've worked at Honda and have had 10+ customers at my desk at all times but you should at least be professional enough to pick up the phone and take a number to call back... Will never do business at this location due to the lack of customer support. read more

I was there today (June 10th) and the lady that helped me (even if I was in the store) helped me through the phone since I couldnt order online she was super nice and everything. I've been coming to this game stop store for as long as I can remember and everyone's been so nice and helpful read more

It is very poorly managed store. I was there last weekend. Selection of games is good, but be prepared for a long slow moving line in front of you and some rudeness at the counter. Let me be clear that the main reason for line is poor and slow service. If managed properly, the wait time will drop drastically even with same number of people in line. To add to the annoyance, the cashier added 1 year service guarantee WITHOUT even asking/telling us. We might or might not have wanted it (It doesn't make any sense to me to pay $2 guarantee on a $3 used disk, while for new items, we might have considered getting it). We only noticed it after paying and looking at the receipt. Not going back. read more

The staff in this gamestop is really cool and they're helpful and funny i've go to this gamestop for about 10 times already and they never let me down read more

Went to buy a game a day after release. Said they had no more and they only get enough for reserves. Check best buy online multiple copies in stock. Pickup within an hour. read more

I love this gamestop when I went I was trying to get a pop and the help me cuz I was trying to by a pop and the guy always say to me nice pop read more

If you've been to one GameStop you've been to them all. They're all rather similar. And disappointing. (Ehem. Disclaimer: Sweeping generalization.) This store had a good selection of pre-owned games. Prices are what they are among the chains, which in short is is too expensive for my blood. A friend and I decided we were gonna pick up Just Dance on the Wii. I've got two left feet and no sense of rhythm, so I'm not sure why I agreed. The associate was kind enough to find the cases for the two games I purchased. But she did keep me at the register detailing stories about her husband featuring in old YouTube videos. I felt rude stepping away despite having finished the transaction, so I stood there like the little pushover I am. On the plus side, no line while I was there. read more

All of these gamestops seem to be filled with staff who don't care too help a customer. I was given so much trouble trying to get a warranty exchange. I was told by Lewis that I would have to take a used system for my exchange even though the warranty is suppose to be for a new one. Calling customer service is horrible too I was on hold nearly 30 minutes and when I asked for the district manager contact info they told me due to "security concerns" they do not give that out. Gamestop will probably be out of business soon with the way they run things. I am going to Best Buy from now on. read more

This is the best game stop Ive been too, because of the staff. Everyone who works here is super cool, friendly and helpful. They take the time out to give you tons of info on games and they know alot. It can be crowded at times but whatever.. read more

The lady with the glasses is pretty rude and gave me an attitude. I only asked two questions about games and console. Won't be coming back here again. :/ read more

I've been to this store a few times and never had any issues. The cashiers were very helpful when I had questions on items my son was looking for. This is generally my preferred store to shop in although I do go to one of the other branches on occasion depending on which one I'm closer to at the time. The prices are reasonable and they have some great sales from time to time. read more

Used to be my go to spot but workers there suck. Very rude and just over all terrible. This place used to have good workers in the beginning but I don't know wtf happen. I recommend going to the one on 18ave 68st, workers there are very friendly and knowledgeable. read more

Great Place but only problem is the game im looking for is never there the staff are at times very slow and need to be told something repeatedly prices are like usual high but its worth it at times read more

Personally I love this GameStop, I have been going here sines I was about 7 and now I'm 17, I have seen workers change as well as the environment and the reason I did not rate this GameStop a five star is because like many other reviews the attitude of some workers is not the best however we all have those days where we have a bad mood but considering this is a work place that requires communication I would want a better attitude from there. I love this place because I have bonded over the years and when I call in for Pre-Order information they are vary helpful and when I ask things In store they treat me well with respect good Job!!! I want to also mention when pre orders happen they have raffles and food and many fun things so good job. read more

Some employs are really rude they make you feel uncomfortable when your looking around at games like if your gonna steal something . Service is well just need improvements on the employees read more

Not a fan of this GameStop. The store itself looks scattered and disorganized. The staff isn't the friendliest and knowledgable bunch. The GS location in 68th and 18th is much better. read more
