No welcome in, how you doing. I eventually said how you doing. Just and ok he says. I proceed to tell him I'm new to RC and just bought my first car. No response. Just a blank stare. Hmm ok I think. Well I need some nitro and glow plugs. How many? 2, 3,10, 15, he says in a short, unfriendly tone. Dude had no customer service skills. As I made my debit payment he glared at my wife and our baby. Maybe he doesn't like our brown skin kind in his store. Who knows? He was rude and made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted in his store. I would've been a repeat customer. I have a nitro car and buying an electric 6s car this week. I'm sure I'll need extra parts and batteries and a charger. Tacoma RC Raceway will never get a penny of that business. I'll buy online and not have do deal with a rude old dude that's ungrateful for my business. I'm a very loyal customer when I find a friendly welcoming business. That old dude was neither friendly or welcoming and made us feel very unwanted in his store. That's my experience there today and good for you if you've had a better experience.

I'm a little disappointed with myself that I was not aware of this shop in all this time I've resided in Tacoma. They have a neat interesting variety of toys and video games. This review is going to focus on my interaction with Alex and Alex from a seller's standpoint. I have a fair amount of collectibles and there were a couple action figures I was looking to (reluctantly) unload (a 1983 Inspector Gadget doll and a NECA Ada Wong to be exact). I had looked online and consulted various other stores in the area and the few offers I had received were far from fair. I'm happy to report that Alex and Andy knew the market and what my items were going for online. We even looked them up together. We had some obligatory endearing haggling and in the end they offered me a fair price for my beloved items. They were the only store that I had spoken with in the local area that were not only fair in their evaluation but even in the same league as the market value. They even appreciated the items as much as I did so I knew they would end up in a good home. Again, I only wished I knew about them sooner. I will definitely keep them in mind for the future when I inevitably decide to sell some cherished childhood treasures. Cheers, guys.

I didn't know what to expect but was super surprised by how much cool stuff the store had! I was looking for a gameboy game but ended up finding about 10 things I wanted to buy on my next visit. They had tons of old toys that I used to have or have been wanting to get from pretty niche series like Monsieur Bome, Masamune Shirow figures, and even my old favorite army vehicles from Mega Force. The owner was playing Pokemon on the big screen when I walked in but was super helpful and friendly. I am definitely a fan of this place and will stop by any chance I can get when I'm down in the area.

I felt so peaceful and relaxed to be in their building. And they packed my boxes so nicely into my bag with a pretty bow across each one, it was like a little gift to myself when I got home. Absolutely loved it! If you are using GPS to find their store, just know they are in the same shopping center as the movie theater, but not at all in the line up next to it. It's more kiddie corner across the parking lot in a quaint little spot of its own. The store is slightly up the hill across from everything else, so it's easy to miss the first time looking for it. I ordered quite a few fairy garden items, and when I tried to check out, there was an issue with the computer system that was preventing me from completing my order due to a shipping glitch. I left everything in my cart for the night, and before I was even up the next morning I had an email from them explaining they were having shipping issues, and to please let them know if I needed assistance. I was able to call and reach a real, live person (even during Covid closures)! She was so helpful and patient. There were some other computer glitches preventing my order from going through properly, but after a couple phone calls and a few emails, everything got ordered and sent out to me right away. It also happened to be the last day of a promotion, and I know the poor gal was running her feet off trying to straighten out the shipping issue for multiple customers. She was so nice and so friendly, even while trying to handle multiple orders, glitches, and a complete lack of support staff due to covid. Everything I received was even better than I had expected (fairy garden stuff is really just so cute!), and I was so excited to add everything to my garden. Also, as someone who frequents several online fairy garden stores, I can say that eFairies has a very unique selection. Most of the items they carry aren't available anywhere else, and I will absolutely be purchasing more items from them in the near future!
