He invited us to paint a fig for free and even gave us a lesson on how to paint. My husband and I play table top games but we do not play Warhammer. I was visiting from out of town and stopped in for Magic: the Gathering games of EDH/Commander. The staff was exceptionally kind and informative, and the clientele all were great to play with! If I lived here, I would definitely be here weekly and I definitely encourage anyone curious to check it out! They also have sodas available for purchase, and my only gripe was that they didn't have a better variety of drinks, especially healthier ones, or small bites. I'll hopefully be able to return soon!

A couple of days later, the seller canceled my order and refunded my money without any notice or explanation. Their excuse was that they could not fulfill an out-of-state order because they could not charge sales tax. I paid shipping and sales tax on the order, and there was no notice of any restrictions on their website. Curiously, the book was no longer in stock after they canceled my order, and they ignored my communications to find a resolution. This strikes me as dishonest and a poor way to treat customers.

My husband definitely belongs to that group, so we stopped by on our trip up north. The biggest recommendation I can give, as an out-of-towner: Order ahead of time for pick-up so you can give them a heads up on your order. It's a warehouse -- it's one of the top businesses to order games from online -- so they have a lot for purchase that you don't see in the retail area. If you order when you arrive, you may be hanging around for a bit (45 minutes or so in our case) for it to be ready, though hanging out in the game room wasn't a bad time either. Their retail shelves contain several games to peruse as well as other fun bits. My kids liked the four-foot-tall, intricate dice tower that made fun sounds as the dice traveled down. They also had some nerdy stuffies that were neat to see too. And on one side of the showroom are several tables too where you could play a game. My husband came away impressed and with several games. This checked off a board game bucket list item for him!

The pop-up only had a couple of vendors that were selling Star Wars related items. Those vendors were fantastic. The place was pretty busy with people, but still had a lot of room to move around.
