Lovely, little head shop with all kinds of "cosmic delights." I drifted through this store on a puff of incense smoke and surrendered myself to the fact that I was going to drop major dime on large amounts of eclectic items, and so it was my friends. Dude with a mohawk behind the counter was funny and chill. I'm pretty sure I want to buy everything in this store.

There was a bit of line but it was fairly orderly and everyone moved at a decent pace to pick up to 5 free comic books! (So if you haven't already stopped by for your own, be sure to stop by end of day or before all the free comics are gone). The store itself was pretty organized and neat. There were a few tables by the entrance with artists drawing custom prints and selling sticker drawings. There were rows of shelves full of new comics, all on sale for 20% today (5/7/17) in honor of free comic books day. Although a comic that my boyfriend wanted ran out by the time it was our turn to make our picks, we still picked up a few classical favorites. In summary, head over to Westfield Comics today and check out the place for yourself, you'll bond to find your own favorite comic soon!

Longtime Customer, Rewarded with Zero Communication…read more I've been a Westfield Comics customer for over 35 years. Until 2025, I would have considered Westfield a five-star company based on my long history with them. Unfortunately, throughout 2025 I experienced a complete breakdown in customer service communication, which ultimately led me to pull my business. Despite multiple emails and voicemails over several months, I received no responses to documented issues, even while new orders continued to be fulfilled. Unresolved issues included: -Being charged for and shipped trade paperbacks when my subscriptions were for single issues, with no response regarding returns or credits. -Being charged shipping three separate times for a single monthly shipment, with no explanation. -Missing subscription issues that were reported and never acknowledged. Receiving some incorrect items in place of missing books, with no replacements ever provided. -Multiple damaged comics due to a change in packing methods. Recent shipments were packed tightly in boxes with no protective dunnage, resulting in visibly damaged corners on numerous books. I reported the damage by listing each affected titles, but received no response. Mistakes can happen in any business. What ultimately drove my decision to leave was the complete lack of communication. After decades as a loyal customer, being consistently ignored made it clear that customer service is no longer a priority. I'm sharing this review strictly to document my experience so other customers can make informed decisions.

I've been a customer for several years, but recently made a major purchase and was extremely…read moredisappointed. My wife and I purchased a table for around $2,000.00. We saw it and loved it right away, and an employee quickly told us it was the last one. We are building a new home and thought it would be amazing in our foyer, so we bought it. We have purchased expensive furniture at numerous different stores around the Madison area and at one time we had some issues with an item we purchased in Madison. That store went ABOVE AND BEYOND, telling us they would do anything to make it right. Refund, store credit, sending a repair person to our home were all options they gave us. When we bought this table neither one of us recall anyone saying that the sale was final and there were no returns. However, it does say that in the small print on our receipt. To our shock, we learned the table was too long for the spot we intended it for and we have no other place for it. Due to the cost (almost $2,000.00) we reached out to the store to see if we could return it - and we even told them we would be happy with store credit so we could find another, smaller table. The person on the phone was rather short and to the point, telling us "There are no refunds or exchanges, we told you that when you bought it". When we tried to explain that nobody told us that, and we were willing to just get store credit so they would not lose out on a sale, they told us "You will have to talk to the OWNER" who was not there. So we asked for the owner to call us at her earliest convenience. My wife received a call from another employe who was NOT the owner, and she said "I'm sorry, but there is nothing we can do". WARNING: If you are looking for good customer service and a store that cares about their customers and will stand behind their products, I would suggest you DO NOT shop here. We have spent a lot of money at this store over the years and this was a major purchase. They did not seem to care if they lost a good customer and all future sales from us.

They carry more than just the usual GW stuff, including a robust selection of paints, hobby tools, basing supplies, and the like. Special orders are easy to place and Pegasus does a good job communicating product availability for items that are hard to get. There's a substantial play area with a large quantity of tabletop terrain available for customer use. Pegasus staff actively participate in my gaming group's Facebook page even though none of them play our game (Malifaux). They inform us about upcoming releases and new hobby products, answer questions, and take note of any special events we might be doing. I think there's been a big turnaround at Pegasus within the last couple of years. When I first went to the store in mid-2016, I didn't think I'd be back. I had the same experience recounted by many of my friends here: poor customer service, dingy surroundings, unwelcoming toward women and non-nerds. My experience today is very different. Staff members I've interacted with have been friendly and attentive. I often see women in the gaming area and behind the counter. The shop won't win any interior design awards, but it's clean and well laid out. If you're still avoiding Pegasus because of unpleasant stories or experiences from a few years ago, I encourage you to give the store another shot.
