Unfortunately, I went on Joe, the owner's off day, so I didn't get a chance to say hi to him, but his staff is always warm and friendly. I dig the amount of Star Wars memorabilia he has, along with all the other toys, collectible card games, tabletop games, and of course, the pinball machines. He also has new Comics weekly along with some back issues, stickers, supplies, and some really great statues. They run Magic the Gathering nights and other gaming functions please jump on their Facebook page to see their schedule. If you're looking for collectible card games singles, they also have probably one of the largest supplies in Northeast Ohio. Check out the 55 pictures I shot. Anytime I shoot 55 pictures tells me that there's so much goodness in there that I can't make up my mind which pictures to shoot. We appreciate the support that they've given us over years. Went by…read morebefore my flight back home and arrived at noon but the arcade doesn't open up til 2pm but the owner of Kidforce was there and opened it up for me to flip in early which was super generous. The machines also played really well and had a good mix from solid states through the latest Stern release, The Uncanny X-Men. Had a great time on the machines which range from $0.50 to $1 a play and even put up some initials. Definitely a fun spot to flip at and they also have video games. The owner mentioned to me that they are getting their liquor license soon so you'll be able to have a beer while you flip in the future!

I first discovered them in 2013 when I moved to the area, and they had a "Buy 2 games under $10, get 1 free" deal that exists today. Aside from media and games, they also sell skateboards, wheels, grip tape, etc. at the back of the shop. They have some related toys to video games and other collectibles here and there in the store, as well. The smiling kids that left the store as I was walking in reminds me of what these places offered that big box companies can't: a specific specialness in the community.

The POP shop is a remarkably well organized and friendly local game shop. The store was well staffed enough that we could banter with some of the employees about the state of the hobby without monopolizing the store, and they were patient enough to let six year old paw though the binders. They even found a few Charizards and Eevees that didn't break the bank. I didn't pick up The One Ring but we walked out with an armful of stuff and a few vending machine treats. They had water, snacks, drinks, and tables enough for any activities you could fathom. I'd strongly recommend this wholesome, clean, and well stocked shop to anyone passing though.
