Good prices. Lots of books (did I already say that?). Per the usual, I waddled out with arms bursting with my haul. I got a mix of Clearance fiction and some new non fiction. They have cute gift items as well, and the people are friendly. I did sell back a stack on a previous trip, and was not impressed with the buy back prices, but that's pretty much normal for consignment, and it did (temporarily) reduce the book burden in my house, which was the goal. Book burden was replaced during subsequent visit and has been returned to stasis.

Located in Trenton, go east on West Rd, cross Fort St, look right and don't cross over the bridge kids! Slick Disc is one of the last indie music stores in the area, very nice selection, and always, always great folks to deal with--sincerely! Actually, without question, I would say they are the most friendly and helpful of the indie stores I've been to in the area...cough cough intials R_o_A cough messy/rude...cough and D_M cough snobby cough rude cough...At Slick Disc they say hi when you walk in and ask if there's anything they can help you find. If they don't have it, then they're more than likely to ask if they can order it for you. Prices on new cd's are competitive to big box retailers. They also have used cds, vinyl, and dvds as well--all reasonably priced. Rock t-shirts, accessories, music themed purses, guitar strings, straps, picks are also stocked. For you skateboarder kids, there is a corner in the back that carries all kinds of things you'd find in a skateboard shop...decks, trucks, wheels etc. too. That meant so much and seriously took the stress out of trying to track it down. When I came in, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. You can tell they genuinely care about music and about making sure customers leave happy. They made the whole experience feel personal instead of just another transaction.
