C & C staff are great! I've been a customer for years. They go out of their way to make sure you have a good experience there. My son loves going there and talking with their staff about games he is playing. They have been very interactive with him since he was young. I've seen some of these negative reviews and it made me want to post my experience. Don't let any of these negative reviews prevent you from checking the place out. They have a great selection of games while though the prices are a little more expensive. However, if you want to support a local business while buying some nostalgic games or gaming systems this place is great. The customer service has also been great in all my experiences and they seem to really know their stuff. They've even made some great game recommendations I would've have other wise tried. read more

Worst prices I've ever seen in a game store, even GameStop has better prices. I would not recommend unless you like paying over retail.

After shopping at C & C Games for several years now I have bought several gouged and scratched game discs from them and a ps4 that sounded like a jet engine when trying to play it. I had to clean out the ps4 myself and holy hell it was like they emptied out several vacuum cleaners inside of it. It was caked in an ungodly amount of dust. As soon as I blew some air on it the air in my room filled up with so much dust that it was like a smoke bomb went off. The fan inside the ps4 was literally grey as the entirety of it was covered in a thick layer of dust that took many hours of work to get to a slightly less disgusting state however it will never be rid of all the dust. I've never sneezed so much in my entire life. I don't understand why they wouldn't test their merchandise, it doesn't seem like they care about the quality of the products they sell at C & C Games in the slightest. I've had much better experiences ordering games off of amazon or even shady craigslist deals. I would definitely not recommend shopping here. read more

My boyfriend and I walked in about 1:00pm on a Saturday in January. There were two staff working and a fair amount of people in the shop. Staff was friendly and welcomed customers into the shop, inquiring if they needed help, us included. The store was stocked full, about half and half new games and retro. They also had a fair amount of games systems and accessories. All prices were reasonable and the store itself was clean and free of clutter. I would recommend this store to anyone looking to buy video games. read more

This is your pretty standard gaming store. They had a small selection of used games but it was pretty limited. The new selection was extensive, however, and they had a majority of the newest titles. The staff was a bit distant and never actually said hi to us but rather stayed being the counter playing games. read more

As a retro video game collector in a small town, it's nice to be able to window-shop every once in a while without having to drive out of town. The retro selection is decent, with most of the key titles available plus a variety of lesser-known titles. The selection of newer games is rather extensive. What I really enjoy about C&C is that the staff is helpful, and the owners are personable and friendly, eager to show you the latest finds in the store. They don't limit themselves too much on what they will sell, so you never know what you're going to find on your next visit. This place is a rip off. Games are overpriced and they give very very little trade in value. You can find much better deals on line or at bigger retailers like Game Stop and Target. I stopped going there after I purchased some old school NES games and nearly 75% didn't work. When I tried to return them the NEXT DAY, the owner refused saying that they were tested at the store and it was my home equipment's fault. So basically they ripped me off over $100. Well I had an interesting experience at the Fremont location. I bought a (NEW) DS game, that had been re shrink wrapped, and also save games were present on the game card.They told me it must have been a display model on the shelf, and they re shrink wrapped it. I made the comment well how does that explain the saved games on the card. Just seemed kinda shady to me. They did refund my money without any hesitation though. And really no questions were asked about it. So this makes me assume that this may be a common practice with this company. Not sure. However, I will not be shopping there anymore! read more

Love this store. My son loves it and the people who work there. There are two there that we especially like, but not sure of their names. One is the girl there. They are very helpful and always know where to find a game if they have it or call another store to see if they have game. Very personable with my son who has mental disability. They always make us feel welcome when we come in. read more

They always say hi to the customers when you walk through the door(at least with my experience) and they usually ask if you need help.Also they have a good selection of games across most platforms and some of the prices are great while some are meh....The store setup is pretty nice and they offer disc repair but the problem with that is that it takes like 4 hours!Overall it's a very nice and friendly store to go to. read more

the workers dont even greet you in the door and would rather play games and talk within themselves, also they are kind of overpriced they charge 70 bucks for a used ps2 when u can buy one for 99, i mean everyone needs to make a buck but when you buy them from people for 20 i mean that should be against the law lol, but if people dont do research they will never know read more
