Great store. They have a wide variety of tradeables and stuff for all types of gamers - video and nonvideo. Nice and knowledgeable staff.

The selection was okay, not great. Not much for Xbox One. The 3 people working didn't greet my son and I as we came in or offer assistance. (We were the only customers) while looking for games for my son, he approached the counter and asked if there was restroom near. The guy behind the counter directed my son son to leave the store and go use the restroom in the grocery store down the complex. I wasn't shopping for groceries so why would I send my kid to the grocery store? If they can't let my kid use the restroom, they can't expect my money. I put down the Sonic game and left with my kid to get him to a restroom. Poor attitude towards potential customers. That was my first, only and last time in there. read more

We enjoy gamescape because of the in store collection of retro gaming systems and games. But the male employees have poor attitudes and one even yelled at my 3 year old for putting a game down in the wrong spot. (They could have brought it to our attention instead of scaring my daughter.) They are overpriced. Gamestop.com is cheaper for retro stuff and used games. They dont give you much money AT ALL when you sell. We actually brought 3 newer games here and they offered about 11 dollars. Game stop gave us 22 dollars. So if you dont wanna order from gamestop's website and wait for shipping then I'd say come here and pay a little more. read more

One of the best game shops there is, and I been to a few from Marion to Columbus. The store is put into three sections, newest games and content going as far back as the ps2 (as well as a DVD selection) along the wall. The center of the building has card games. The back of the store has comics and a area for tabletop games (a calendar is set up for tournaments of all kinds). The front desk has the N64 games, consoles, and the handheld stuff. They also have a cabinet that has "rare games" with prices to match, but nothing ever feels outrageous. All games are priced competitively and the store itself feels open, bright, and welcoming. While I might not be a massive player anymore, I always stop by when I can to pick up cheap entertainment or if I get tempted for a new blockbuster. The employees are nice, and I found they give better prices for used games compared to gamestop. read more

Great store that recently renovated to make shopping easier. Staff is friendly to customers and one another behind the counter. Always willing to help if needed and will always ask if anyone needs help. They don't have a restroom but have a shared restroom with kroger. Has a large selection of magic cards and are willing to look up prices to see if there is any changes in them. When I was in last there were customers with their game not working and the staff cleaned the game until it worked. Very happy I've been going to this game store since I was a kid and have never had a bad experience with the staff. Then again I've never been rude with the staff or tried to make a scene like some customers have. read more

When I went into Game scape Mount Vernon Ohio I was not welcomed. I walked around the whole store looking for someone to help me and when I finally found one the man said :I dont know now go away im on break!" Im bever coming back again read more

Friendly staff. I enjoy going into the store and seeing the availability of the games(video and board) along with memorabilia and comics. If something isn't in store the staff is great at trying to locate what you are looking for and getting it in or to you as soon as possible. read more

This store sold my granddaughter a $300 piece of equipment as new and when opened It was not only used but broken and not usable! She tried to return it but they said the serial number didn't match so wouldn't give her her money back or exchange. She doesn't have a lot of money and works hard got what she has. She is also totally honest! read more
