I wanted a rare game for Playstation One and tried to get help from the employee there. It was not busy and they were too involved with texting someone on their cellphone. I decided I didn't want to interrupt them so I ventured on my own to try and find the game. After about a half hour of looking, the employee came over to my section of the store and I thought they were going to ask if I needed help....but instead placed a game on the wall and walked back out. I will only come back if I know Bryan is working. He is very knowledgeable of games and a great guy! read more

Okay so I am looking for a used video game console and its pretty much Video Trader or Gamestop so I decide to do a bit of research and see the 1 star on Video Trader and I cringe but the I look at the "blocked" reviews that do not get applied to the overall rating and they are great. I have nothing against Gamestop but I try to invest in local merchants whenever I can if they are fair and affordable. So I go to Video Trader first and am instantly greeted when I enter by a very courteous young man who is helping several people at once answering questions and telling historical stories about the past of certain games. I was helped immediately, given options, the system was hooked up to verify it worked properly and there is a return policy if there are any problems. I am a corporate trainer for a very large company specializing in service and I left impressed. This is not the dull, dark, dreary, confusing Video Trader of 10 years ago I can assure you. Shame on Yelp for holding back positive reviews that create a negative perception of a local business...I wonder if my review will make it or are you afraid of the truth Yelp. Your turn. read more

Heard great things about this place and assumed it would be amazing. All the Facebook ads made me think prices would be fair and competitive. Don't get me wrong, they had a huge selection. So I browsed for a few Playstation 3 titles I had wanted and was surprised to see prices even higher than GameStop. Saw a few used movies as well that were in a case marked 50% off. Even at 50% off a large majority of movies and television series were above retail. It was fun to look, but until they have some realistic prices I won't be returning. read more

Since I was a kid, I've been coming down to Bryan's Video Trader to buy, sell, and trade my video games. I tend to be more into games and consoles from when I was young as opposed to the newer systems but Bryan's has it all. The only place around that has as big of a selection for SNES, N64, PS1 and PS2, Gamecube, and Sega Genesis games and systems. On top of that, they have a huge selection of newer titles and systems and always cut great deals on trade ins and used items. The guys working there are always helpful and are willing to help you out. I never consider any other video game store around. read more

This place gives you more for your trades than any place I have ever been. I havent shopped at Gamestop since I bought COD 4 in 2007, but i looked up the trade in values on Gamestop's website on some games I had laying around that never get played. The value for the games at Gamestop were like $30. I walked into this place and they gave me $115 trade in credit for them. When I drove away from the store I literally felt like I ripped them off, so I turned around and went back to have them charge me more $ for my transaction. Of course they didn't.. But I tried.. Anyways, I have never been disappointed here and I drive over an hour just to shop at this store. They have quite a few retro games to choose from here as well. Anything from Nintendo 64 to Atari games. Very cool store and the staff was great read more
