I first discovered them in 2013 when I moved to the area, and they had a "Buy 2 games under $10, get 1 free" deal that exists today. Aside from media and games, they also sell skateboards, wheels, grip tape, etc. at the back of the shop. They have some related toys to video games and other collectibles here and there in the store, as well. The smiling kids that left the store as I was walking in reminds me of what these places offered that big box companies can't: a specific specialness in the community.

Highly recommend going here for all your board game and TCG needs. They do a fantastic job of ordering games for people that they might not carry initially and their stock of games is constantly being added to with newly released games and old favorites.

I bought a used item from them and then realized that when I had got home they did not give me all of the parts that went with it. So the hour again back to Defiance to return the said item because the employee failed to give me what I had paid for and I was already pissed that I had to make a second trip to pick up something I should have been given in the first place, so I would rather have had my money back to help pay for the gas I had wasted. Only the owner wouldn't let me trade it back in even after I explained to him that I shouldn't have had to all the way back here to get the rest of what I paid for because of his neglectful employee, to which he told me: "I'm not giving you a refund because you were inconvenienced." Welp...I'd hate for to be an inconvenience when his business goes under from treating his customers like dirt. This is not how a small business owner should treat its customers. So the bottom line: Find another place to buy/sell/trade games/accessories because this owner does not deserve your business. This business started out by selling old and used cartridges for almost every (major) gaming console ever made. The owner has an enormous, almost unbelievable, selection of games you played, games you wish you had played, and some games that you've probably never heard of. What a trip down memory lane. Yeah, the owner had a nice little business selling game an outstanding variety of game console cartridges...and then he got bit by the pinball bug. So, in his store, he has 24 pinball machines, three cabaret style machines (Galaga, Centipede, Ms.Pac Man), two multigame machines (an iCade 60 gamer, and another that features about 100? vertical scrolling Japanese "maniac shooters..." if those are your thing. There's a Crazy Taxi game, too). The pins range in price from 12.5 cents per play (two credits for a quarter, arithmetic wiz), to a buck per play. Here's the key...every game that I played was in good or excellent condition! What an cool variety of games, he has. Newest game? Jurassic Park (2019) by Stern. Flagship game? Dialed In (2017) Limited Edition by Jersey Jack; that's a $9000 dollar machine. Mike P's favorite game? FirePower (1980) by Williams...25 cents per play...just like the machine at Little Cesar's Pizza on Suder Avenue...back in 1980. We stopped to see if would be lucky enough to find XBOX 360 games for our son for Christmas, and they had an entire ceiling to floor section of them to choose from! But what really was impressive is that they didn't price them out at an outrageous cost! We were able to snag 3 games for less than the price of ONE! A girl greets me and says it's going to be a few minutes if I want to look around As I am waiting she pulls out every album and checks them. A few minutes later this dude looks through my albums. She says to the other employee "most of them look okay" He Hands one back to me and offers me $5. I was so confused and responded I don't know what you're talking about I'm just trying to buy these. They both apologized and looked shocked. Then when she rings me out she charged me $1 for the .25 cent record he refused to take! It's just odd they both downgraded the albums and then argued about the priceI was trying to BUY from them. Anyway I still bought them. Support Local Businesses.
