They always come off as super honest and willing to actually help you. I even bought a PS5 extra storage chip, and they offered to install it for me free of charge. I'm not normally one to write reviews about shops, but this treasure of a place is absolutely worth it! The employees are so friendly and knowledgeable! There's an unbelievable selection of video games -- from Nintendo to PlayStation and XBOX. We stopped to see if would be lucky enough to find XBOX 360 games for our son for Christmas, and they had an entire ceiling to floor section of them to choose from! But what really was impressive is that they didn't price them out at an outrageous cost! We were able to snag 3 games for less than the price of ONE! Great customer service, super friendly owner. fun environment with all the vintage games

What an awesome experience! The owners of the shop have done an outstanding job at customer service. I am not from town, so I went in thinking that this would be a similar experience to a big chain, but I was 100% wrong. The staff is super knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to give suggestions based on experience. They has items for sale from the Gameboy Color all the way up to the newest Xbox and PS4. Can we talk about their selection? AMAZING. Almost any game you can think of is on their walls for ALL the current and past consoles. Lastly, their Funk Pop selection is incredible. I ended up buying 3 because I could not find those anywhere else. Highly recommend to anyone who loves video games, excellent customer service, and wide selections. read more

A cool little store in Delaware. My boyfriend lives for these places because he can find gems hidden. They have a good selection of DVD's, blurays, games and little knick knacks. They also have some toys, like hot wheels and the sort. The guy(s) who work here/were in the day we stopped in we're super nice too. Probably won't make it a regular spot considering we're not that close, but it's definitely a neat place to check out! read more

Went in with a portion of my stimulus, looking to buy some old games. The man working, Dom, was not only incredibly helpful but by the time I left I was ready to revamp my whole game room. Been coming here for several years. New ownership now. Tom is a great guy and very knowledgeable. They do carry a lot of preowned video games, game consoles, dvd's and more. I've not had a working video game console for a few years. Tom and the rest of the staff were very knowledgeable, and based on my answers to questions recommended a console and was surprised at the low cost. I associate smaller stores with bigger prices, but not so here. Prices on games seemed VERY reasonable also. They also went out of their way to update the machine (a 6+ hr job) because i don't have Wi-Fi at the moment. SUPER customer service, went above and beyond any expectation i could've had. I now consider GamePlay Unlimited the only place i will go from now on! read more

It's unfortunate the only other review for this place is negative because I really enjoyed my visit here today. The guy running the place was hilarious and I had a great time - I didn't end up buying anything but if I were ever looking to get an n64 I go here .. And any other classic (or new) game for that matter. I'd say give it a shot -- see if you find a childhood favorite or pick up a new addiction. :) or meet a new friend. These guys REALLY need to understand the demographic of who they are selling to. They do not know how to conduct themselves in a "nerdy" environment. The employees seem to lack common sense and tack when speaking with customers. Plus, when I came in the store manager was unavailable for two days for me to actually sell them product. Seems mismanaged and very haphazard. They sell power tools, knock-off jerseys, and busted old flea market fare. Not very common for a store that they advertise to be. Very shady feel upon entering. Looking back on this review I was very harsh. Most of these opinions were formed when the previous owner was still in charge (and also when i was 17 and just had my first job) so while i haven't visited since, you should definitely pay then a visit. They're standard and fair in pricing and you never know what you might find. Support your local shops!! read more
