Okay. First and foremost. There is a cat that roams around, that in and of itself is deserving of 5 stars. But there is a great selection of used records and even some new ones. Passing through town and this store made me want to move to Delaware. The records are extraordinarily well organized, clean, and represent a wide range of genres. Prices were fair and the staff person was informative and helpful. Oh, and the cat! I would support federal legislation to mandate that record stores employ a friendly cat. This is in my top three vinyl stores in the country, and I've been to many. read more

This is probably the most organized record store I have ever been in . I found the owner to be extremely helpful as well as knowledgable and I love the tabby cat. I was looking for some very specific, hard to find albums , which he knew right away ... said they were all awesome but he didn't have them. I did however leave with an entire box of albums most of which were from the sale bin . I am listening to them as I write this .. although I haven't made it through the entire box .. here are 2 of my favorites. This is a great place to stop if you are interested in vinyl and happen to be in Delaware . I highly recommend Pat and his store. read more

I'm pretty mixed on this record store. The store is well organized, has a pretty good selection that is not overwhelming, and has a fun, engaging store kitty. The store owner came up to me and asked if there was anything I was looking for in particular and I did mention that I was. I told him and he said where it would be if they did have it. As I was leaving I asked if he knew of places that repaired record players because the one I have needs to be fixed and, unlike the ones sold at his store, this one I own plays 78s. I am aware that 78s need different needles from 33s and 45s because they're made of different materials. While it's a goal of mine to own a Victrola, I am simply not in the financial nor life position to purchase one. It would have been different if the owner had shared information with me to educate me, but as he shared why my 78s should have their own player it felt more condescending than anything. I felt pretty bad after I left the shop and decided that I don't particularly enjoy feeling that way. I probably won't be back as there are a decent number of record stores in the Cbus area, but even then I've held back on collecting records that I doubt I'll be record hunting again. read more

The BEST record store in central Ohio. The others are over priced, gimmicky, disorganized and no one helps unless you interrupt their personal conversations/texting. Patrick has an unparalleled knowledge of everything music related and his passion for sharing that knowledge is intoxicating. Every time I have gone into the store the man working at the desk has always given a negative opinion on the selection I am after. It's extremely discouraging and close minded when myself and others are trying to explore different kinds of genres to have a "perceived expert" come in with side commentary that isn't helpful. Out of all the record stores I have explored in the Delaware/Columbus area this is the only place I have experienced this behavior. Gary the cat is chill though. read more

This place rocks. Super knowledgeable older dude running the show, just as you would hope to find at a small record store. He was able to advise R on which Waylon Jennings record to buy as well as talk metal records with me (although he did call Testament 'modern.) Copies of 'The Onion' up at the front too. I instantly love this place, and I'll be back for more vinyl. read more

Best vinyl store in central Ohio I've found so far. Pat runs a very organized store with a great selection of records. CDs are also available for purchase. I always find things here when I go and they have something for pretty much any mood. Some country but mostly rock. Like to flip through the blues section. All his used vinyl plays nice and you don't really have to worry with the skips on his stuff. Sundown by Gordon Lightfoot - he most likely has it. Also, Metallica black album - had that too last time I was in. From Ratt to Fleetwood Mac all the way to Johnny Cash, he will likely have it. If not, stock is always revolving so go frequently. I love this place! Pat, the owner, is almost always there and is super passionate about music and helping you find what you want. I went there looking for a gift and had no idea what to buy and he really helped me narrow my search. Not only that, he cared that I was happy with my selections. In comparison to other record stores, his prices are great! Also, if you follow their Facebook page, he posts about "concerts" he shows on the projection screens on the weekends. I adore this shop! The owner Pat is very knowledgeable about music, and always has long conversations with me about anything. The selection is fantastic and you can always order cds if you want more. They have a lot of interesting merch including posters, mugs, tapestries, and more!! The prices are fair as well, since there is a wide selection of used cds, so you can find multiple cds that are around $3-$10. The record selection is great as well!! They always have music playing, and the atmosphere is artistic and warm. I love it!! read more
