I took my childhood Nintendo DS Lite to Videomen to get the top screen fixed as it was broken. I've been waiting for years to get the screen fixed and was excited to finally see it happen. When I came to pickup my DS, I noticed there was a popped pixel on the new screen. I told the guy who was working there who I think is the owner that there is a popped pixel and if he could install a new screen. He said he couldn't do that and all replacement screens have popped pixels. I ended up paying and still have a defective screen. I would never come back here or recommend this place to anyone.

I ended up spending over $120 in parts to replace the shaft, ball, joystick, and all the buttons on the top of the board. I bought a used stick from OfferUp, and a few of the buttons and joystick had issues with inputs. They also have special events with authors and others. The next one is on 10/25/25. I have been to one and it was great. It had a wonderful energy and all are welcome. The Legacy Library and Black Lantern Books is a wonderful way to preserve the life long collections of texts. Many of the books were the property of Kwazi Nkrumah. He started collecting in the 50's. himself started collecting in the 1950's. At the end of his life, his son and others gained access to the wide collection. In an interest to support, others stepped up to ensure that the books were not just safe but would one day become the Legacy Library. The bookstore was planned to add funds for rent etc. It is not a large place and it is not beautiful. What is beautiful are the people that work there, the service is amazing and the collection of books that you will find.
